Never A Wife Always A Sidechick 2

Rate this book
There's a new HBIC in town and she goes by the name of Ms. Noel. Ms. Noel, like every woman sauntering this Earth in high heels, has had her fair share of bad men and worse situationships. Despite it all, she has done a complete three-sixty and is living her absolute best life. Her past has been left behind as she has a new name, a new profession and new face. But it's all good because this time around she has the upper hand. She's been through it all and thus knows how to deal with it all. That's why, in the game of both dope and love, she is reigning queen and anyone or anything that dares to jeopardize her throne will be dealt with accordingly. But love is a force to be reckoned with and the question is, can she handle what she can't control?

Summer is more than just your average "around the way girl". She was an orphan who never had the love of a mother or father and questions if she is even capable of real love. Thus, she has spent her whole life approaching this thing called "love" with extreme caution. That doesn’t, however, stop her from dipping her foot in the murky water of relationships. Summer is playing the field and refuses to drop the ball and allow her love to be contained to just one person... until that one person comes along that teaches her how to love by forcing her to hate.

The LaDay men are back and in full effect. This time, instead of the brothers, it's father and son that have teamed up to rule the world. Spencer LaDay, aka, King, is the father of twin boys, lover of four women and lord of the underworld. With multiple women at his beck and call and the world in the palm of his hand, King plays by no one's rules but his own in both his personal and his business life. But what happens when his rules are defied, and his crown is challenged?

Kane LaDay has been the notorious bad boy his whole life. Sitting at the right hand of his father, King, he is truly the Prince. What or who he wants Kane gets. The word "no" isn't even part of his vocabulary. Unfortunately, everything one wants is sometimes the exact opposite of what he needs. He soon realizes that his pleasure is also his poison. What happens when worlds collide, loyalty is questioned, and family becomes foe? Death, love, hate and everything in between.

My mother once claimed that all ladies should require and oblige to proper introductions. And seeing as I am a sweet southern lady, at times, here goes nothing. I hail from the deep, deep DEEP South; Louisiana to be exact. I am a dragon-slaying Superwoman during the day. By night, I am a somersaulting, tight-rope walking spectacle with mounds of colorful hair!!! In “normal everyday life”, however, I am just me. The name’s Viola. Viola Monreaux. Ms. Monreaux if you’re naughty. I am Viola the mother, the daughter, the sister, the confidante, the villain, the heroine, the lover and the writer of it all.
My passion for writing began as my therapy, compliments of my fixation with that thing called love. Paper to pen as a canvas to release and relate is good for the soul. Thus, I write to share, teach, and heal. As long as life is being lived I shall rejoice in the ability to create worlds for all to read, hopefully relish in and possibly grow from. Enjoy!
Love, Peace and Good Sex,
Viola Monreaux

Man where do I start! Part 2 was so good. I didn’t expect the ending! Summer had a whole plan up her sleeve! I really thought she loved Kane. Most definitely a good read.

Ash had some serious problems going on in her life. She should've known it would only be a matter of time before her world came crumbling down. She was so pressed about the things Kentrell and Malika did but proved she was no better. I was surprised about Summer but I shouldn't have been considering how she was always being treated. Kane couldn't find anyone else? I swear the men in their family had issues with wanting the same women. King was spiraling and it was crazy how he never took into consideration the consequences of his action. Through it all, Ash was definitely not wife material and after crossing one too many lines she had to realize it. D'Angelo wasn't an ideal mate either but it worked for them so aye.

Good read

This book was good. Ashanti got what she deserve. She played the victim the whole time when she was just a acorn woman. I like how Kane and King both got theirs. Summer deserve her happily ever after.

I didn't enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed book 1. However it was still worth my time and a good read.
