Indie has revealed himself to Taj and getting back in her good graces is tougher than he thought it would be. With the business of the streets still going on and Joey's incarceration, Indie has to choose which issue needs more of his attention. Determined not to break under pressure, Indie tries to juggle all three. Taj has been stewing in her anger since leaving Indigo and the rest of her family in Los Angeles. While she returns back to her day to day motion it's becoming painfully clear that she cannot continue on the current path. With Malcolm fighting to keep her focus and Indie lingering in the background, Taj is torn between living the life she's been accustomed to or living the life her heart is leaping toward. Can Indie and Taj get what they want, or will they be forced to choose everything else over them? Find out in Indigo Haze: Thug Love is the Best Love Part 3.
LOOOORRDDDTTTTT the emotions this book evoked! I wasn't ready, but I should've been because Aubree plays no games.
Indie is BAE! I'm still mad at him, but he made up for it lol Ricky and Ajai my lil boos! I'm so happy for them! Butttttt Indie gonna be on Ricky's head! Joey gives me so much life lol He looks out for Indie ALWAYS!
Taj Ali... BABY! This was all I wanted for you lol BABY IS LIVING and NOT just existing! I am ALL THEE WAY HERE FOR THIS!
Malcolm... chile I ain't NEVER been here for you. Senior... I'm still on the fence about. He just aggy lol like let BABY live her way!
I swear Taj Ali wrecked my nerves this go round. She has decided to end things with Malcolm in order to move forward with Indie, but things don’t necessarily go as planned and Malcolm’s true motives are revealed. From the gate, I knew there was something off about that punk. But, did I love the way Sr. stepped up for his daughter.
We, the readers get a first seat glance at Indie’s transformation from Street Legend to businessman, much to the chagrin of others. No matter how much push back he receives, his pursuit of Baby is unmeasurable. This book made my heart smile, as I cheered for the crew. My favorite character is a toss between Indie and Sr., whereas the least favorite still goes to Malcolm. If you haven’t read this page turner by @bigpynnie, I would highly recommend that you do so.
I feel like everyone was pushing taj feelings to the side and didn’t care. Simply because any time they talked to her it was to “check on her” but in the same conversation every time they would bring indigo up trying to force her to talk to him and forgive him. When she starts talking about how she feels they bring up him and how feels. Like she should care he chose to fake his death and leave just like they chose to keep it from her to. It would be different if he told her and then disappeared or kept trying to talk to her while he was gone but he didn’t. Regardless of having a price on his head he could’ve said something because he was putting his family and friends in danger anyway by talking to them so it didn’t make any sense.
Her dad only calling to talk to his daughter (taj) just to talk about Malcolm and why he’s a good guy is crazy. She told him he should be trying to check in on her not trying to persuade her or make her marry Malcolm & he asks how she’s doing like he doesn’t care and when he finds out what Malcolm actually did now all of a sudden you want to do something about it… You should’ve been doing something and trying to figure it if taj actually wanted to be with him instead of forcing her so she wouldn’t go back to indie. Finding out the dad did something to make Malcom propose. Yea I wouldn’t be mad if she didn’t forgive the dad.
So for them to be trying to force her to forgive him and he hasn’t done anything worth forgiving is crazy. They said she was settling with Malcom. It’s not the same but it is because she’ll still be settling because he’ll think he can mess up and all he has to do is apologize and tell her why he did it and he should automatically be forgiven and they’ll be on his side again instead of hers.
He should’ve been going to her with gifts that are meaningful or sending her notes and trying to see her/call her or SOMETHING. He flew out to her once I think after that her best friend, Ricky and his girlfriend did all the work by calling her and tricking her into going somewhere or doing something just for him to be there. Like I said before he TALKED TO EVERYONE for almost 5 years while he was gone and even showed up to places she was at stalling her and never made his presence known but now when it comes to her you had a price on your head so it was dangerous to talk to her. It wasn’t dangerous for you to talk to your mom or brother or show up where she was at? It was definitely dangerous talking to Ricky especially after they had a kid but you still talked to them….

Whewwwwwww singing I’m emotional and I can’t let go lol. The emotions this book brought out of me was crazy. Indie I get it I swear I get it. Sometimes you will do anything to protect the ones you love even if it hurts. Indie is my man my man my MF MAN. I’m so happy for Ajai and Ricky because baby girl was a rider. Watching these characters grow into who they were truly destined to be has been beautiful. The love was real, the bonds were real, the pain felt real, the struggle felt real and the feelings felt real. I was sick of Malcolm, but so disappointed in Senior. The secret that came out was truly heartbreaking… because why did you arrange that? Taj and Maria’s friendship is strong and I love that Maria doesn’t play. Indie has such a beautiful spirit but so does Joey. On to the finale.
I can't stand senior he ain't shit at this moment. I really don't know how he can fix this shit, he basically caused...
Malcom ass needs to die...like fo real die. Idc that she didn't really like his ass, he fucking knew she was broken and still tried to force his way through...and then to act like the bitch made nigga he is...ok indie lay mother fucking hands like yesterday😒
This part had my ass heated...like flew through it in 2 hours heated....
The only up is Joey got out of jail, Ricky put a ring on ajai and my soul matrd are soul mating..

Senior ass is MESSY to the 5th power!!!…I’m sooooo relieved sicka his ass!!!… I’m sooooo relieved sicka happy that Joey is home, and Indie and Taj has found their way home!!!… Ricky is another messy ash character that needs to be popped upside his head!!!…Whatever mess he find himself in this time, he needs to figure out how to get out of it!!!… He done made a family with Ajai and can’t sit still long enough to enjoy it!!!…That mess that landed him in the hospital was a quick thought and he was back at the foolishness!!!… I’m ready to see what Malcolm’s next move is!!!…He hollered someone wasted his time, then he act a donkey at his job and lose it!!!… TK ghost is back haunting them all!!!…
I loooooove this series❣️ I love absolutely everythiiiing about it. Taj and Indie and their supporting cast are truly magnificent 🙂. All of their moves keep you sitting on the edge of your 🪑, teeth grinding 😬, jaw dropping 😮 with dramatic brilliance.
The situations are so real and full of life, her style is so good and fluid you feel like you’re sitting next to them. You can feel the ☀️ on your skin and the smoke swirl all around you, the emotions that bubble up makes your ♥️ race and your nerves tingle ✨. This book is a sensory feast!
Treat yourself, Fam, because you deserve all the nice things 😉🛍.
I love the way this series is coming together. It is alot of things that this author touched base on and I really love that. There will be bumps and bruises but you have to keep going and following your dreams no matter how small. You have to be the one to control the things you can but get up if you fall. Definitely plenty of jewels dropped in this series.
Taj is finally getting her happy back, minus her dad constantly disappointing her. Indigo has to be questioned and released because it's too much hurt to separate he and Taj again. Ricky is definitely playing a dangerous game lying to Indigo about the street life. Waiting to read part four to see how it ends.
I’m up at 230 am typing this review. I’ve read these 3 books back to back and I won’t stop or sleep until I get to the end - book 4! Up reading on my kindle app in the dark!
I am so hooked on series! The suspense, drama, and everything has me reeling. Looks like I won’t be getting sleep - good morning!
I know some people are frustrated with how long it’s taking Taj but I disagree. She has been broken, bartered, beaten and feel betrayed. She needs time and a lot it. I’m glad mostly all her family understood.
Senior is one foul man. I truly don’t understand him. This is given unstable and not just a protective father.
I’m glad Taj stool her ground because everyone had my girl messed up! She reacted the way that anyone would have! Do I love a HEA, yes however sometimes folks gotta do a little begging!
And AP with the endings! What in the world are we going to do now! Looking forward to Book 4
More secrets are coming out because honestly, secrets tend to always get revealed. Joey is still incarcerated and honestly an older sibling always shows you how to and how not to do things. Grief which has turned to a different type of anger for Taj has her torn and I’ve never been in sis’s shoes but we’ll get a juicy quote in book 4 about the choices daughters make. Book 3 continues to pave that blue brick road (see what I did there?) for Indigo as he continues to fight the good fight. After all, it is a marathon.
I just can’t understand why senior won’t learn his lesson? I feel like indigo needs to help him find his common sense! I don’t trust Rickie, I’m sorry u don’t! Joey I don’t know what you gone do but i gotta feeling it’s gone be bad! Taj! I love you. I wanna slap you but I love you lol.
With each book I fall more in love with the story, the characters, the game and the hood. This was a marathon for real and I can’t see what awaits at the end of the race 💙
I'm actually starting to kind of lose a little patience with this book. Their relationship seems to be dragging on a little. There's still book four so I will continue on.
This series is keeping me on my toes with every situation that's going on. You never know when things will be normal again between everyone. I can't wait to read this final play in the game.
Just like the others I’m excited I can pickup the finale. This one wasn’t as stressful, more frustrating than the previous two. I still love these two and cannot wait to see what AP comes up with next. Happy reading!!
Taj reacted the way any person would have after what they put her through. Ricky and Indie friendship is so refreshing. Senior just couldn’t help himself. I can’t stand him and Malcom.
