Driven on her quest for female-empowerment, Reign is an Australian author with a passion for telling action, fantasy, comedy, and Sci-Fi stories to a worldwide audience. Having battled through a traumatic upbringing, while possessing the sheer determination to keep on going, Reign aspired to kick ass like many of her iconic heroines from books, films and TV... But because she didn't live in a world filled with vampires and demons, nor did she have access to a spaceship, Reign took matters into her own hands and wielded the sword of writing to live vicariously through her stories.
If you love Greek mythology and action, the Hope series is a fun apocalyptic ride!
I love fun reads with lots of action!
Book one in the Hope series. Right off the bat, the prologue really intrigued me. Instantly you are hit with real human emotion, swearing, friendly flirting and action. I absolutely LOVE that. Hope is about an ancient curse releasing the Seven Deadly Sins upon humanity, causing its own extinction.
How the characters met was absolutely brilliant, I can't get over it! Every character touched my heart in some way. I like a smart mouth and characters that take no crap! Strong female roles are a definite yes in this apocalyptic story.
Guns' a blazin' - killing it in the action department! I am blown away by how many action scenes were in this plotline. I was never bored and something new was always happening. I go back and forth on which characters I'm rooting for.
"- it was about reading people. If you do it properly, you could appeal to their egos. Especially in a world where prideful people existed."
I impatiently await more of Reign Atkins' Greek mythology series!
