Awesome conclusion to this trilogy…
This is the third book of the Gods and Monsters Trilogy and, like the first two, is non-stop adventure from start to finish. Corvin, the main character, has developed so much over the course of these stories. In this book he finally gets to resolve some personal issues, gain some incredible new magical abilities, and face off with a malevolent being bent on global annihilation. Somehow in the midst of all this he also finds a little time to reflect and come to terms with his feelings for a certain young woman in his life. There is no shortage of danger, action, or unexpected twists and turns as the imaginative plot draws you in and demands your attention right up to the conclusion. A cadre of interesting and dynamic characters drawn from various mythologies and superstitions are deftly woven together to provide a fabulously entertaining read. I am hopeful that, at some point, the author might consider writing another set of adventures for these wonderful characters. I highly recommend this series to any fan of dark urban fantasy.
I received an advance copy of this book from the author and I am voluntarily offering this honest and unbiased review.
