It’s all about the journey…..
I was given an ARC of this book and purchased the published addition.
Going in to each of Sky’s series I always know there’s going to be an HEA, well a bunch of them, and good will conquer evil in the end, but as Tess said to Ava, . “There really is something to the journey that’s so worthwhile.”
Rise of The Dragon weaves Viking lore with timeless tales of love and the never ending war between good and evil. Love is the destination, it’s the journey that keeps you turning the page in wonder.
Ava and Soren are the last of the fated dragons in this series and it’s up to them to save the world. It’s never as simple as finding your mate, you have to also find your true self. I loved the way all the loose threads were pulled together to bring this series to it’s conclusion. You won’t want to miss it!

This is the conclusion of Viking Ancestors: Rise of the Dragon and did it ever go out with a bang. Sky Purington is totally brilliant. This book had me hooked from the moment I picked it up until the end when I finally pulled myself out and went back to the real world. Ava and Soren have an amazing chemistry that just oozes out of the pages if this book. If you like vikings and time travel then you need to read this series. Ms. Purington you have outdone yourself.

The Great War in upon us
It's always sad when a series ends but Sky is such a brilliant story teller and a phenomenal world builder, so while sad, it's amazing as well that everything that has been building is all coming to a head.
Vikings Crusade is Soren and Ava's story, they are the final pieces of the puzzle in the on going battle between good and evil (so to speak) to see the wrongs of the past righted. While traveling this road Soren and Ava not only learn about their past lives but also grow as the people and dragons they are in this life. Finding love amidst chaos, trusting each other and those around them to offer aid when needed because it will take all of them working together to defeat Skald.
Viking Ancestors is an amazing series full of love, adventure, humor and at times pain. It has great action and suspense as well.

Another great book by Sky!
As as a rule I don't write my reviews based on the synopsis of the book. The author's description does that.
I can say that this book was well worth waiting for. It finally wraps up the story of how the sisters and theirs along with their mates, family and friends fulfill the prophecy set forth for them. There are a few extras surprise characters from previous books in the series to help to save the day.
You won't be disappointed in buying and reading this book. I will suggest to get the previous books in the series.

A class of it's own
As always, Sky makes you believe that Dragons exist and that they live among us. And when they spread their wings and take flight you watch in awe. You believe. Her world building is exceptional and her characters come alive and embed themselves in your heart. I always try to read fast to get to the end but then I am so sad to finish. I eagerly await each new book and pre-order every time so I won't ever miss it. MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This story is one of THE BEST I’ve ever read! Sky Purington brings to vivid life the world of the Vikings. Viking’s Conquest will not leave you wanting. That’s all I can say because I don’t want to include spoilers. All I can truthfully say is READ IT!! You will not regret it!
