Book would be an OK if cursory history for elementary students if it had more ... well, history, rather than just a smattering of negligible facts. Additionally, the typos on every page are not just distracting but true barriers to trusting the author's scholarship.
an extremely well written synopsis of each US president
Having read many presidential biographies, I was pleased to find a wonderfully written book highlighting each president. The book maintained a consistency of relevant and connected issues without showing any bias. A great book for all age groups.
If you are looking for a 4-6 page overview of the life and achievements of each US President then this is an excellent introductory book. I’ve given it 4-stars rather than5 as it’s not been proof read as well as it should with a few clearly incorrect words which is rather sloppy.
Solid, but not great. It did inspire me to research the presidents further. One key takeaway was learning about the long stretch of largely inactive presidencies—from Lincoln to Hoover—aside from figures like Teddy Roosevelt and Ulysses S. Grant.
