My brother is alive… he just didn’t come back for me.
The picture of my brother is haunting me. He’s wearing their uniform. He’s smiling.
And apparently, he’s something special to these people.
None of this makes sense. We’re twins. Best friends. When he was kidnapped… when I was left for dead… nothing in this world could have kept me from finding him. Does he not feel the same about me?
And then there’s my role here. I somehow have to do better at hiding my secrets, because the alphas are ferreting them out. If I’m not careful, everyone will know the truth about me soon, and then I’ll be gone before I ever get a chance to face my brother and find out the truth.
Oh yeah, and I also have to stop sleeping with the school jerks. I knew coming here meant dying. I was prepared for that. But sex? Crushes? That’s not what I’m here for.
Especially when it seems like I’m the only one ‘catching feelings’ in all of this. I refuse to be another one of the women falling over themselves for these guys. So, shut up and stop feeling. That’s all I have to do. I can do that… can’t I?
ROYAL RIVALS is a bully academy reverse harem romance. All the characters are over eighteen. There is swearing and sexual situations. It is also a series of "episodes," like television episodes. Each story will be short, and it will end on a cliffhanger, but the next episode will come soon after.
Really short read, I read all four books in about one and a half hours. I like it because the heroine doesn't give a damn and it was kind of refreshing. There wasn't any tstl moments so that's a plus. Might check out the rest books.
So many errors it became annoying to read. Good story but terrible writing.
I like this series but it seems with each installment the quality of the books declines even more. It's terrible! Within the first couple of pages the author has already made a few grammar mistakes and forgotten the name of one of the alphas. A lot of sentences have words missing or wrong word usage. Like bravo, she used it in a couple of books. The word is BRAVADO, not bravo!
To add insult to injury, the author lists the forthcoming episodes in which she forgets to list this book, Royal Rivals (#4). Another episode, Royal Secret, is #4 and that's not even correct because one page over book #4 is Royal Kings. Get your sh*t together. There is no reason to put these episodes out every couple of weeks if they are going to be such a mess. They are so short the editing should be spot on.
It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. Royal Monsters is a bully academy reverse harem romance. All the characters are over eighteen. There is swearing and sexual situations. It's also a series of "episodes," like television episodes. Don't like episodes? Then, pick up Savage Magic Academy, the complete collection! I like Cat! She's sassy and determined and excited about the academy. Oh so good, the suspense, the twists, The sexual tension Oh my wow! Her brother is alive and he didn’t come back for her. The picture of her brother smiling and wearing their school uniform is haunting her. Also, he’s apparently something special to these people called the chosen one, but they got the wrong twin. But now that her brother has had a taste of power and prestige, he’s not going to let nothing destroy it. Even if it means betraying and getting rid of his own sister. I’m glad the alphas now know the truth about Cat for she is going to need them for protection. I can't wait for the next episode it's such a juicy ending. It's full of horror and excitement and so much entertainment.I can't wait to see what happens next. The characters are an interesting bunch and I am eager to see what mischief Cat causes for them all. So with all that and more this story pulls you in and holds you tight. I highly recommend to everyone.
Omg this book might be where I stop…. That last chapter, even though it’s only two pages was awful. Like I couldn’t imagine that, and it makes me sick to my stomach that he actually said that….
*Edit*
Yeah I think this is where I’m stopping. It figured too, because this is when the guys are actually starting to be nice to her. I just am not feeling the book series right now…
It also sucks because I really don’t know what else I want to read. I am just not in the mood. Like I can’t even describe it.
Now things are really interesting. Having discovered the truth about her brother the doubt remains for her of the why he didn’t search for her, after everything she sacrificed for him. Every death, pain was in vain? Or there’s a reason behind? Now she has four guys who are by her side, but to trust stranger instead of her brother it’s a really tough decision to make.
4.5/5 stars. This book made me remember why I fell in love with reading. When I say enemies to lovers is my favourite, THIS is exactly what I mean. The TENSION was amazing and overall I absolutely love Ash and Levi’s characters.
+ as a huge F1 fan the scene at the end was very surprising but I can’t imagine a more perfect ending.
I mean it's decent. A quick read, enjoyable plot. But I'm just tired of moving from one book to the other, after 20 minutes I have to find the next book. Each book is too short! When I finally start to get into to the story, it ends and I have to find the next one and start the whole process again.... While the concept of episodes sounds interesting in reality it doesn't work.
I’m getting to that stage in these books where everything’s starting to come to a head and it’s starting to feel like the beginning of the end. I think these might be too short and I’m going to be left wanting a whole other series to finish off.
Oh how dare he!!! Poor cat doesn't know what's coming but I sure hope she's strong enough to withstand everything that's about to probably happen. At least she doesn't have to do it alone though. Lets see what next!
Oh man, her brother is big yucky. That's disappointing. I'm trying to work through half-finished books and series, and this one was easy to get back into. I also really appreciate that the books are tiny, so I can read them in two hours or so.
I like the story and even if some aspects have been predictable, I was surprised with other parts of the story that I didn’t see coming. I enjoyed this book a lot.
I’m so darn hooked on these little nibbles. I also enjoy the trade off of the serial format, and while each one usually takes like an hour or less to read, the release dates are fast enough (don’t listen to the preorder dates that are set! They change!) that my hunger is dated in a timely fashion.
In this installment, we have a bit of heartwarming with the men, and a bit of tension is relieved. ::ahem:: in more than one way. But we also have a bit of heartbreak at a sudden but inevitable but of betrayal. And I’m not talking about the one in the woods.
I’m glad Cat has a squad, now. And just in time! Also, really hope that reliable source gets a knife to the face, but that might just be wishful thinking.
Royal Rivals sees Cat and the Alphas reaching a point where their relationship has moved to the next level with all the things that are revealed, whatever that level of caring is considering these tiny episodes.
Cat's brother is unsurprisingly an asshole. I can just see how her confrontation with her brother will play out in the next episode. The length of this 'book' definitely plays against itself when it comes to the action part. Everything would have been much more interesting if it wasn't glossed over and hollowed.
Cat imagined the day she was adopted would be a fresh start; a wonderful life. She expected white picket fences and loving parents. Instead she was beaten, burned, stabbed, shot and drown... over and over and over again. Death would have been a blessing. Until the night they came and took the one thing she cared about. Ever since then she has been search and waiting. Now she finally is ready to get back what she lost. But at what price? And is it even hers to claim anymore?
Things are progressing pretty rapidly and now the secret is out. I'm happy about it since I didn't want it dragged out, but at the same time, it still feels too soon. Also, the editing is still atrocious. The mistakes are very distracting. I keep reading because I'm interested in the storyline.
Avery Free this series draws me in episode after episode! I can not wait to read how the siblings are reunited and what role the Alphas play going forward!
I love all of these episodes. The adult scenes are awesome, but it's the paranormal plotline that continues to spark my interest. Every episode unveils a little more bit by bit. It's freaking awesome! Keep 'em coming!
