From the author of the internationally bestselling Templar Chronicles series comes an all new urban fantasy adventure featuring Knight Commander Cade Williams and the men of the Echo Team...

In The Hungry Dark, Cade and his team are in Europe, helping train a new group of recruits when reports of strange occurrences at a small village deep in Germany’s Black Forest reach the Order’s leaders. With the locals tied up on other matters, Echo Team is dispatched to deal with the situation.

No sooner do the men of Echo reach their destination that a terrible winter storm rolls in, stranding them in enemy territory with nothing but their wits and a handful of weapons to get them through the night.

(Author’s The Hungry Dark takes place just a few months after the events of The Heretic and before those of A Scream of Angels.)

A Dark, Mind Blowing, Thrill Ride!

Somehow, I have found my way into this genre bending horror, supernatural, military style series and I will not be able to stop reading until I run out of material!
This bulb came directly from the book because I do not want to leave without a review and everyone is hollering at my to hurry...

Novella about the Knights Templar and I loved it. This crew fights some really nasty things and Cade Williams is their fearless leader. This time they are in Germany and don't know what they are up against before they are actually fighting it. And where are all the villagers? A priest asked for help and Echo Team came to provide it. Now they can't find anyone. But there is a body so....we jump right in. Excitement every second (or fear). Great read.

Cade and the Echo Team head out for another mission in the remote village of Durbandorf. What they encounter is quite horrific. They come across some supernatural creatures and have to figure out how to kill them. They have to hunt down the master who is controlling them and destroy it. But what a surprise it was when they saw who the master was. Very intense and another great book in the series.
