This is a very good brief history of Malcolm X. It’s written in such a way as to be historically accurate but also age-appropriate for my elementary-aged son to understand. I also like how it begins the story with Malcolm X’s transition to promoting nonviolence (while still covering his full life in this book). I will be using this book to educate my son about Malcolm X.
