This is a super cute story about the importance of manners and etiquette.

Set in a fairy-tale world, The Grumpling tells of a very rude beast of the same name who always ruins the fancy tea parties of the very well-behaved and good-mannered bunny population until one determined bunny decides to do something about it.

Like I said, super cute and a welcome addition to my Little Free Library.

This is part of a series from the ‘70s (Serendipity). Colorful pictures and a little lesson in each story. About one paragraph a page alongside a full page picture.

Hmmm is this the grown-up Buttermilk of three other stories? And if so I see she is back up with bears although definitely note Jingle Bear.

Cute story where the Grumpling is the neighborhood menice who seems to have no courtesy, manners or compassion while the young Buttermilk is eventually fed-up with the brute. But instead of throwing a fit she definitely fights fire with sweetness that does her no good until she breaks down crying thus showing the beast has a gentle heart after all.

A good and sweet read that apparently a lot of kids haven't been able to get a hold of recently.

I really like Cosgrove's books, they have a fairytale feel with whimsical places and creatures, but he always weaves such a sweet lesson into each story. The Muffin Dragon is my favorite so far, but this one is very cute.

Sosok yang paling kasar pun bisa mengerti peraturan, kalau saja kita mau mengambil waktu untuk mengajarinya.
