The most wanted man in the kingdom has just been arrested.
Uther, infamous sorcerer and self-proclaimed lord of darkness, finds himself in the custody of Sir Michael Courage, a knight and a hero, beloved by everyone, brave, strong, and (in Uther’s opinion) stupider than a brick.
Courage’s allies want Uther decapitated. Uther’s minion, Sesserine, wants Uther to kill Courage and escape.
But Uther has other ideas for how to handle a naïve, handsome knight.
A fantasy with a double-crossing sorcerer, and a double-double crossing apprentice, and all is not as it seems. A cute story that manage to surprise me - and that does not happen often!
I was wondering how this would end. What really mad me laugh myself silly was that it turned out to be one of those intense relationship therapy/retreat things. It felt like the real couple ended on a stronger note.
