Sierra is a USA Today, International Best-Selling author who wrote her first book at age nine and hasn't stopped since. Sierra invites you to share the complex journey of love and desire, of surrender and commitment. Her own journey has taught her that trusting takes guts and courage, and her work is a celebration for everyone who is willing to take that risk.
A liiittle bit of BDSM, a little bit of drama - but mostly just lots of very sad chlichés about a rich man, a not rich (but very determined, motivated in her career, morally pure and dreaming of undying love and babies) woman; mention of a secret society kind of ruling the world (LOL, I kid you not) - and some more drama.
Smart, sexy and bdsm-steamy, Braden and Lizzy’s story and obvious chemistry had me hooked though most of the book.
For me, the ending resolved kinda easy with a big ole scoop of “fairytale”...something I wasn’t expecting from this couple.
My first from Sierra Cartwright, I have to say a few supporting characters (from her Titans series) that cameoed here are intriguing enough that I’m thinking I just might have to click them too. Ummm, Jax, you sexy mfkr, I’m looking at you.
'Scandalous Billionaire' is book four in Sierra Cartwright's "Titans" series and it's everything the blurb promises it to be. Her mom was the housekeeper to the Gallagher family all these years and saw Braden every day after school and then as they grew up, on school breaks. Yes, they've both had feelings for each other but to her, he was out of her league, and to him, she was off-limits because of her mom. Not to mention he has his own baggage he carries. Now they're grown, the chemistry has morphed into a blaze but where Lizzie channeled hers into her work without dating much, Braden acquired the nickname of the Scandalous Billionaire from all the women he's been known to be with. Another romantic read that induces butterflies and tingles.
It was too short, not nearly enough time for the events that happened or the speed at which the relationship progressed. Yes they knew each other as kids but they hadn't seen each other in years. They spend ONE night together with Elizabeth agreeing to a BDSM scene. Isn't that kind of thing totally based on trust? And she trusts the man she hardly knows, hasn't seen in years, and has a bad rep? Makes no sense. The next morning she totally freezes him out, they don't talk for a month and then he shows up and proposes. Utterly ridiculous. I'm all for mindless entertainment but this was just stupid.
Book 5 in Titans series by Sierra Cartwright Braden is a very wealthy billionaire and he comes home to a sexy Elizabeth going through his wardrobe. Elizabeth is Braden housekeepers daughter and loved Braden for a longtime but when she comes home to help her mother with a big celebration party and gets caught in Braden wardrobe where he keeps his sexy dominant secrets. Really enjoyed this book as always. Sierra Cartwright not only writes a great book with independent strong women but also a incredibly hot one that melts your knickers. Great HEA
5 Star Review Scandalous Billionaire (Titans # 5) by Sierra Cartwright
I love the Titan series, so I couldn’t wait to dive in to Scandalous Billionaire and as expected Sierra Cartwright has delivered another great read.
I fell hard and fast for Braden Gallagher and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Ryan both separately and as a couple; there was something about him that ticked the boxes for me and I was fully invested in the story that Ms.Cartwright wove.
Lizzie has grown up surrounded by wealth, by association that is. As the daughter of the housekeeper she has seen and heard more that she cares to at times. Having known each other for years, Braden has been attracted to Lizzie for quite some time but she has always been off limits.
Braden is not the man Lizzie remembers, he is haunted by his past. Lizzie also has issues and both have built walls that will be hard to break down.
However the attraction that Braden and Lizzie feel will put them both to the test as lines are crossed. Will Braden be able to convince Lizzie that he has changed? That she should take a chance on him?
Scandalous Billionaire had my heart pounding at times and the writing was powerful. This was a hot and passionate story and the chemistry between Braden and Lizzie is scorching.
As I have come to expect from a book by Ms. Cartwright, it was extremely well written, entertaining and flowed well.
When I look into your eyes I see myself being with your forever....
Braden Gallagher got the shock of his life when he found Elizabeth Ryan rummaging in his bedroom closet of all things. First thing he noticed, she was all grown up and beautifully sexy. They knew each other in Highschool 10 years ago. Her mother looked after the Gallagher household for years. Braden was rich, gorgeous and dated many women in his life. But he was not interested in a long term relationship, but Lizzie could definitely change his mind.
When Lizzie was helping her mom get ready for a huge anniversary party at the Gallaher residence, she came across a man's tie. As it was Braden's home, she thought a quick trip to his bedroom to put it back in place would be easy enough to do. Not so lucky,Braden caught her in the act. She had a huge crush on him in school and the way her body was reacting to his presence, she still did.
The sexual chemistry between them was apparent from the get go and she learned that Braden had a certain "lifestyle" that she was intrigued with and wanted to learn more. We follow this couple as they discover their true feelings about each other. This was a hot sexy read and as always Sierra Cartwright does not disappoint.
For some reason this book reminded me of Simon Says: Mine. Not sure why cause they are quite different and introduction into BDSM happens in half of the stories. But something in the vibes resonated. When Elizabeth was thinking about he inexperience I though for a moment that she hadn't any sexual experience at all. That would have been a twist. But no. Braden is better than his reputation. Such a misunderstood hero. :) They know each other from early childhood so in this case on night of love could have probably triggered conversion from friendship to love, especially when Lizzie had a crush on him from early years. Braden probably had one too, just never acknowledged it himself. Their night together was quite intense for the first introduction into the lifestyle. I haven't seen any guy trying this many things on a newbie. Glad she was up to it. Lots of Titans show up in this story. Some of them we know some can probably get their stories in future. Some were quite intriguing. Hope and Rafe story is still my favorite out of all Titans.
The Titans are back with another fabulous book from the woman who runs up my battery bill. (Just kidding…maybe) Sierra Cartwright. This time it’s billionaire Braden Gallagher and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Ryan’s story. And, as once quoted in one of my favorite movies. “Gird your loins” this one is short, but you’ll need oven mitts to hold on to it because it’s so hot! Braden comes home to find his old childhood friend and housekeeper’s daughter, Lizzie is not only in his closet, but after 4 years of being away at college, she’s grown up. She’s holding one of his ties, and she has apparently gotten into his stash of “toys “ What’s a man to do?
Lizzie wants Braden, but all she’s heard is that he’s the “Scandalous Billionaire “ with a different conquest every night. She’s not about to become another notch on his bedpost. But Braden wants forever. Can he convince her? And what’s up with the secret society? Lizzie wants answers. This may be a shorter story, but it’s packed full of steamy hot scenes that will have you grabbing your own mate, (or B.O.B.) As always, Sierra delivers a satisfying, unputdownable story. A definite keeper for the reread pile.
Braden's tragic upbringing caused him to spend a lot of his growing up years with the family housekeeper, which put him in contact with the housekeeper's daughter. Now years later, the daughter is back and Braden is done fighting his attraction for her.
This is another great Titan story. It is fairly short (just seven chapters) with one heck of a long epilogue (love Julien and his theatrics). Some smoking scenes as Braden introduces Lizzy to his lifestyle. Some great cameos from several Titans (whose stories are eagerly awaited). Some angst where she wants commitment but feels he only wants "now". A little introspective as they work out their feelings with the help of friends.
Overall, it is an entertaining short story but doesn't have the character development the Donovan Dynasty has or the seemingly depth of feelings that the Mastered series has. I would recommend reading this book.
Braden comes from money but as the saying goes it does not bring you happiness. When he finds Elizabeth in his closet he finds a woman and not the girl he remembers from his younger days. Elizabeth is the housekeeper's daughter and even though they grew up together they have lived different lives. Now that they have grown up Braden sees Elizabeth in a new light and is determined that this time it will be different between them. He longs for so much more than just friendship. Both have pain in their pasts but will they be able to let that go and look towards a future?
I enjoyed Braden and Elizabeth's story. The two are good together and it was nice to see their relationship take shape. Elizabeth will not be another notch on Braden's headboard but their attraction cannot be denied. Their story moves along at a nice pace and it has strong characters full of emotion. I was pulled into their story from the start and was engaged all the way to the end. The author gives readers a nice story that has you believing in love.
This is such a honest and straightforward love story, that made me tear up and laugh at the same time (it has our favorite but elusive GENIUS appearing, after all :) !!!!) Braden and Lizzie are worlds apart but at the same time so close, they don't trust the closeness and the attraction to be enough ... or is it ? now, this is exactly the love story I adore ... you have this straightforward passion between two people who have know each other their whole lives, but life and its scars got in the way and now its a struggle to open up and go after what you want. But they do it at the end, and have their HEA, and we get a (well earned !!!) sneak peak what our genius Bonds is up to and what else may be in the works by our favorite gal Sierra. I really recommend this story if you are in need of a good, honest romance, sizzling lovemaking and some serious swooning. Happy reading ... I am off to re-read this gem
Braden and Lizzie have known each other for years. They may have grown up around each other, but still are from two very different worlds. Her mother has been his family's housekeeper for a long time and was there for Braden many times while he was growing up. Now, fast forward to the present, they are both adults and when they run into each other where the chemistry is strong between these two. She has kinky interests and found his hidden toys in his closet and he wants to experience her... But, he doesn't do commitments and she doesn't do casual and doesn't want to end up one of the his many girls you read about... They've both had some bad experiences in the past, but can they get over the past and meet each other or will they both be too stubborn and miserable... You gotta love the Titan men... This was an another amazing book by Sierra Cartwright! Love these two ❤️❤️❤️
Braden and Lizzie have known each other most of their lives, but have not truly known each other. They come from different backgrounds, Braden the privileged playboy, and Lizzie the maids daughter. Sure, growing up they shared space at the kitchen table eating cookies and milk, but their acquaintance was superficial at best. Flash forward years, and a chance meeting preparing for his grandparents anniversary party, and we find Braden and Lizzie still at opposite ends of the spectrum. This time Lizzie is looking for more than a casual hook-up, Braden still ever the commitment-phobe. Can these two move towards each other, or will they continue to be pushed apart like opposing poles on a magnet. Another great read in the Titans series! Well done Sierra!
Lizzie and Braden have a history...nothing sexual until now. Boy is Braden surprised to see Lizzie all grown up. Can he convince her to see past his reputation to see the man within? I really enjoyed the latest addition to Ms. Cartwright's Titans series. Braden didn't think he would every want to settle down until Lizzie. She broke something within and while she will trust him with her body her heart is off limits. Convincing her to let him in will be he greatest challenge. I love that Ms. Cartwright did not make it easy for Braden. He had her body but wants more. And Lizzie wants commitment and doesn't think she will find it with Braden. Can she overcome fear to accept love? I loved finding out in the quick read by Sierra Cartwright.
Braden and Lizzie have known each other forever it seems, she is the daughter of his housekeeper. She’s been off to college for the last few years, but who does he encounter in his closet, none other than Lizzie. There begins and push and pull between these two.
You can feel the tension and the sexual chemistry between them, it’s only a matter of time before she falls under his seduction. But Lizzie does not want to be just another notch on his bedpost, she makes him work for it.
The story was amazing sensual and just off the charts, Sierra writes some of the best bedroom scenes. Also, the Titan men are to die for, seriously uber dominants who cherish and protect their submissives.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
I’m so in love with Sierra Cartwright’s Titans series, and Scandalous Billionaire was wonderful. The chemistry between Lizzie and Braden sizzles. Add a little kink and a grand party, and you get a couple of strong-willed people who get a jolt of lust to their systems. Although they’ve known each other since they were kids, they don’t really know one another. Both carrying baggage from their past, can they keep their issues behind them, or will they be too much to ignore?
This was a great story of two unlikely people coming together, their family’s influences and love shaping their past, and having a hand in their future.
Braden and Lizzie knew each other from childhood. Different family classes but friends. An awkward adult re-acquaintance has them thinking very adult thoughts. But Lizzie has a job to think about, her mother's position in Braden's home, and Braden's scandalous reputation. Braden is very aware of what society thinks of his crude behavior but doesn't care, consenting \unattached adults and all. But Lizzie awakens a need and lust in him only she can sate.
Fears neither want to face have the relationship failing. Can Lizzie trust and can Braden show her he's not the man others make him out to be?
Another Titan has found his other half and fallen...hard. Braden is very wealthy and comes from wealth. Does that make him happy? No... his favorite times as a child was when he was with the housekeeper and her daughter. Now as a grown man, he is very much into kink and has a new woman on his arm nightly. Until he sees Lizzie again. Timber! Lizzie is successful in her career and doesn't want to loose her heart to the one person she has had a crush on for years... her mother's boss. There is steam and a bit of angst. I loved how everything came together for the HEA.
Lizzie is Braden's house keeper's daughter and she was raised with him. He runs his own company and she works for Rafe a other Titan and owner of the Sterling hotel chain. She is smart, sassy, sexy and curious about Braden's lifestyle when she is caught in his closet. They nave immediate attraction and she is falling hard and fats, but his past and reputation is catching up to him. Can he convince Lizzie that she is it for him? Another fabulous Titan story! I honestly volunteered to review this s
I really loved this audiobook from the RMR podcast… that is, until the end. No spoilers from me, but I feel like the end was just TOO over the top. It would have been 5 stars for me otherwise. I know these podcasts are all labeled the same: cheesy, insta-love, over-the-top romances. But I’m sorry. I just couldn’t appreciate that ending. I wouldn’t say it was a BAD ending, but it was disappointing and annoying for me personally. The writing was really good. I can't say I'm a big fan of the narrator's voice, but she did a nice job anyway. A solid 4 stars otherwise!
Another Titan bites the dust. Childhood friends; he's the son of her mother's boss, all grown up and the attraction sizzles between them. He's the scandal ridden playboy and she refuses to be another notch on his bed post. Neither of them had good examples of what a successful marriage was. She wants it all; white picket fence, kids, everlasting love. He's never been in a real relationship but he knows what he wants with her and it rattles him to his core. Now all he needs to do is convince her.
Title: Scandalous Billionaire Author: Sierra Cartwright Format; Audio Narrator: Kit Swann Genre: Romance Billionaire, BDSM Standalone: Yes Part of a Series; Part of the Titan Series POV: Braden and Elizabeth Steam Level: Quite toasty at times 4/5
I listened to this audiobook on the Read Me Romance podcast. This is the first book I’ve read by Sierra Cartwright. I really enjoyed it and definitely want to look into more if her work. The story was engaging and fun but I definitely wanted an epilogue.
Listened to this on Read Me Romance podcast and I have to say I enjoyed this more than most of the short stories on here. I would rate it a 3.5 as I felt the characters were able to kind of develop over the amount of time they were given in a novella but we also had to believe that they had some form of relationship prior to this story because they knew each other as kids. The narrator did a good job and the story flowed. It was quick and to the point, but enjoyable. The ending? I hate quick “all tied up in a bow” endings, but I’ll let this one slide....
I listened to the audiobook on the Read Me Romance Podcast. This was actually a few days ago but it's only now that I have time to add it to GoodReads. The story was meh and a bit cliche too. I think the pacing of the plot and the events didn't help show the chemistry between Elizabeth and Braden. Also, it's quite a forgettable story. It's only been two days, I haven't read any book since, but I still can't remember most of what happened, except for the fact that I didn't enjoy it enough to want to give 3 or more stars. BUT that might be because it's really short story.
Lizzie grew up with Braeden, and she had her crush on him through her teenage years. Now back to help her mom, the attraction between them is electric and overwhelming. Braden doesn’t deny himself of Lizzie, but when she backs away afterwards because of his reputation, he is at a loss of what to do. He had already knew Lizzie was different, and he has to find a way for her to give him a chance. Sexy and emotional, this story was perfect!
A new book in the Titans series and it features Braden and Lizzy.
I thought the book started out strong with an intense scene between Braden and Lizzy and the first steps into a relationship, but for me the story felt flat after that.
I missed the interaction between the two main characters in the rest of story. There are things happening but not between them and for me that is the most important component in a romance book.
