Rory: My life is supposed to be perfect, but it sure as hell isn’t. All the money I make from being the drummer in a popular band goes straight to my ungrateful parents and poor younger brother. When I watched the lead singer in our band fall madly in love, that was the last straw. Something in my life needs to change.

Maybe it’s finally time for me to get over my past and try to love again. But the scars from seven years ago still ache, and I won’t let anyone close enough to get under my skin—until Thatcher. He slowly heals the pain inside me, and he seems perfect. But something’s holding me back. If he’s too good to be true, he must be hiding something… Right?

Thatcher: No one ever tells you that being a successful billionaire is a lonely life to lead. I weathered the past decade with my Doberman, King, as my sole permanent companion. My intensely calm nature turned off one too many dates, and I was convinced I’d be alone forever.

Rory changes everything. He’s the fire to my ice, the raging sea to my gentle waters. I want him more than anyone I’ve ever met. But can I comfort the hurt inside him?

And when a dark shadow from our pasts threatens to rip us apart, will I be able to save him?

A 10 OUT OF 10 READ
WOOOOOOHOOOOO WHAT A READ
This is one love story I wont forget!!
Rory is a famous drummer in a band but he is still not happy. His parents are like leeches all they want from him is his money. They have the perfect reason that Rory just keeps giving too its his baby brother Blaise. Rory was also jealous of this band mate who had found love. He was happy for Damian he just wanted someone to love him for him. But he had demons in his past that could stop him from really excepting love.
One morning when he gets through accusing a man of something he didnt do Rory decided to take matters into his own hands and goes on a dating website for gay men. He was expecting to find anyone but by the end of the day he was messaging some one call Thatcher and they were talking like old friends.
Thatcher was a billionaire with no friends except for his beloved Doberman, King. He should be loving life but he has never been one to get overly excited. His past relationships had fizzled out when they through he was cold. But when he meets Rory everything changes in him and he is willing to go at his pass. He just wants to be with Rory but what if the one thing that Rory cant get past is the one thing that Thatcher cant change???

Rory and Thatcher share a common issue in that both were hurt by past relationships. For Rory, a drummer in a popular band, his pain had been through an abusive relationship he barely got out of in time, as well as the toxic relationship with his family who freely used him. In Thatcher’s case, he is a successful billionaire, but his quiet gentleness kept him from developing a relationship with any of the people he had tried to date. Both of them were lonely and both were damaged by their pasts.

When Rory and Thatcher meet they are attracted to each other. Both moved slowly into the relationship which helped to start the healing. But when the past comes back to hurt them, will they find the strength to face it and claim their happiness?

This was a good story where the reader very quickly cares about these two broken people who need love and acceptance, someone they can trust. Will they recognize that each of them, though so different, can supply what the other needs? Grab your copy and see if they can overcome their pasts and try to find a new start together.

This is an intense, emotional, dramatic and romantic story. Thatcher and Rory first meet in a coffee shop, when Rory confronts Thatcher about the way he parked his car. Only it wasn't Thatcher's car. They talk for a few minutes then leave, each intrigued by the other. Neither had been in any kind of relationship in years, and Rory decides that he would like to meet someone just like the man at the coffee shop, so he makes a profile on a dating app. Thatcher's mother egged him on to use a dating app, and he gives in. Both meet someone and make plans to meet, and find that they know each other. They meet a few times and they decide to try having a relationship, but when Thatcher is ready to start getting a little physical, Rory freaks out. so he has to tell Thatcher about his traumatic past, and has a hard time trusting the patience that Thatcher shows him. I loved Rory and Thatcher, and the storyline was so gripping that I couldn't put the book down once I started reading it.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.

A Must Read Book.
Author Anders Grey has presented his readers with a very touching love story between two men, Rory and Thatcher, who are both damaged from past relationships. Rory had barely survived an abusive relationship and Thatcher hadn’t been in a true relationship in ten years due to not being able to develop a connection in dating someone.
When Rory and Thatcher do meet they are attracted but it is a bumpy road they must go down and in some cases face their past face to face.
This is a strong storyline that has raw moments of emotions...and it’s needed. I’m so glad this book came up as a recommendation which has resulted in me highly recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. Peace.

Same Rory, same. I hate when someone parked in between 2 spots. lol Love me, love my dog, must be Thatcher motto XD Rory's ex -but I think ex isn't appropriate term to called them because I sensed that he and that guy who hurt Rory just on professional relationship- hurt him so bad, emotionally so he builds walls to prevent someone get closer to him and took advantage of him. Thatcher was a great guy, mature and well behaved not flaunting his wealth. I like how their relationship build slowly and I didn't expect the twist near the end, never saw it coming honestly. Overall, I really enjoyed this book a lot <3

Saving Rory
By Anders Grey
Main Characters: Rory and Thatcher
I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author.
4 out of 5 stars
This is m/m contemporary romance. Rory is a drummer and Thatcher is a billionaire. Both of these men were damaged in previous relationships. Rory more so. I loved that they didn't hook-up on day one. Their story built up slowly. Thatcher was a wonderful character and took his time breaking down the wall that Rory had built up. Surprise ending and I recommend this book for readers who love m/m romances. Very well told by an author previously unknown to me.

All you need is the right person to help you overcome certain traumas in your life. Rory found that in Thatcher. Thatcher was a wonderful man who came at the right time to help save Rory. Granted Thatcher has his own issues/insecurities but meeting Rory helped him too. There chance meeting and fateful match on a dating app was special. It was nice watching them build trust that grew into love in their relationship. All that backdrop drama didn't overpower the story romance and I really enjoyed reading this book in the series.

This is the first in the series I have read, but I loved it. Rory is a drummer for a famous band and Thatcher is a prosecutor. They meet through an online dating app and start dating. It was kinda funny, because Rory had run into Thatcher at a bakery and read him the riot act for a misunderstanding. Rory was molested several years ago and still hasn't gotten over the trauma. Thatcher is such a sweetheart! Not knowing what happened, he's still willing to go as slow as Rory needs. However family drama from both sides threatens what they are working towards. Thatcher's number one companion and best friend is a doberman named Kingston. I love how he is with his dog and King takes an immediate liking to Rory. That speaks volumes for the possibilities their relationship will work. I really enjoyed this book and the complex relationships between the characters. Even though both of these guys had high profile jobs, it is not a focus in this story. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.

Thatcher and Rory’s story was unforgettable, addictive and oh so sweet.

Rory is pretty damaged. He’s been used and abused by strangers and his own family. But Thatcher is his light in the darkness. But it won’t be easy to break down all of Rory’s walls. Cause they are tall and strong.

But once he does break those walls down there is no going back. The love they share is so heartwarming. I found this book so addictive I couldn’t put it down once I started it.

Thatcher comes from old money and his experience taught him to be careful with other men. Short term relationships are okay, but nothing serious.
Meeting Rory brings out unexpected feelings, many of them protective, as Rory, too, seems to have trouble trusting people. And what is happening in Rory's family that the relationship to his parents is so strained?
A good story line, interesting characters well-described.

Rory and Thatcher have both been hurt in previous relationships and aren’t looking for a repeat. Rory also has a lot to deal with from his family as well. When they meet, sparks fly but neither are eager to move very fast. Will they find happiness with each other or will something come between them? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama, emotion and steam. The characters have great chemistry and the story draws you in from beginning to end. I really liked it.

I really liked the characters, it had some past trauma to overcome, twists and turns and an unexpected element towards the end. I wish there weren't so many Um, Oh, and Er in every sentence. But I enjoyed this story and it has a HEA

Harmony

Rory and Thatcher are perfect for each other! Ying to his yang, calm to his storm, they balance each other. Add in some drama, unresolved issues, heat and chemistry and it's a good read.

This was a bit too underdeveloped for me. The dialogue was a bit too cheesy for me at times, and I couldn’t fully get into this.

I also disliked how we didn’t see a true conclusion with Marshall.
