He's still in mourning of his wife and child - erased from the timeline, but there is such an evil that he must put aside his own feelings.
She's cruel, heartless and contains far too much power for Tej's liking.
After the wild, grand plot from the other one, I really didn't know what to expect from the sequel. I was worried that the book was too big after the first one and there'd be nothing left for the second, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I think I liked this book better because the plot was more-rounded and Nefe was a wonderfully evil character.
Plus, and this is just biased old me, but I found my name in the book:
That hardly ever happens!
I did notice that this book is a a bit heavy on the showing rather than the telling. There was so much telling that I had difficulties forming emotional connections to the characters - it still held my attention, but I didn't feel engrossed in the story.
There were so many things that would have had more of an impact if they were shown, rather than told to the audience.
All in all, this was an interesting continuation of the series.

Tej, still barely recovering from his last battle, must prepare himself for one more.
"You are building something incredible. But you are going to use it for all peaceful purposes. Which, if you ask me, is a complete waste of such a powerful weapon."

Nefe, as she calls herself, is something else entirely.
"We raided three villages for you, my dear. Killed a hell of a lot of humans. So much bloodshed, so much pain. I loved consuming all those cries and anguish. All that fear is now running through my veins."
She's cruel, heartless and contains far too much power for Tej's liking.
She has decided to extract revenge - and lord help those who stay in her way.
“I gave you what you wanted!” Gajendra shouted.
“You did. But I didn’t enjoy that enough.” Nefe jerked her wrists with force and snapped the necks of all the disciples.
I thought this book was pretty good.
"Sacred? I thought you all were serving a time-demon here. Demons and sacrosanct areas rarely go together."

Another great book in the Time Demon series. Varun Sayal has a gift for mixing modern day technology, scifi and mythology. Like his other books this book is a great mix of the three elements.
Taj thought he saved the future of the world, but now an even deadlier threat has emerged to Taj's present as well as the worlds future.
This book starts straight from the epilogue of the last book. Another thing a continuity buff like me loves is the characters from his first book Time Crawlers (a book of short stories), have been added and used in this book giving it and these characters more depth.
This book is definitely a page Turner that had my always wondering/wanting to know what would happen next. There are many reversals and a couple of sides changes and just as I thought it was over another switch happened. Like the other book baring time travel from a technological point of view it is scary home much of the things in this book are happening today, and the dark future they could lead to.

Devourers from Suryaksh: Race to the Last Eventuality is the second book in the Time Travelers series Varun Sayal. The book is set a while after the ending of the first book, Demons of time: Race to the seventh sunset , and follows multiple timelines as our protagonist , Tej is able to time travel. There is adequate world building and we get to understand more about the entities know as "Time Crawlers" .The antagonist is Nefe a supernatural being who seems indestructible, has a heart made of stone and wreaks havoc wherever she goes. Throughout the book our protagonist faces Internal Conflict regarding morals and lines he is willing to cross for the greater good.
The writing has a smooth flow and is perfectly paced. The story itself is action paced and contains themes of espionage, Hindu mythology and self discovery. The book is overall a great read, apart from a few unnecessarily sexualized scenes. I would recommend adding it to your September TBR as it is an enjoyable and entertaining read. Also heads up Demons of Time has been chosen for a Kindle Deal under which the book will be available for a special price of only 19 Rupees only on 23rd August so make sure to grab a copy. The battle between good and evil continues with Tej. From the first read I have noticed great characters very well described by Varun.

Synopsis:
It is always one mission after another for Tej. There is no respite for that man. Yep, Tej is back! And he has another important self-assignment. The story picks up from where Demons of Time: Race to the 7th Sunset ended. The year is still 3057 BC. Tej is back in his village, Sarp-Nagar. And Rigasur's deeds have come out in the open, leading him to be discredited by the Kings who were his Ashram's patrons. As a result, security cover is not what it should be, which further results in an attack by Nefe on the Ashram. Nefe, who is the lead Wiccan of the Maagitra coven. She is specifically searching for Kuntala, the twenty-two-year-old time reader and an old disciple of Rigu.
On the other hand, in 2057 AD in New York, Vedika Sharma and Rubina Vance are a couple who are the co-owners of Vedvance Technologies. Nefe is after Vedika too, it seems. She seeks to control the latter in order to gain command over a specific technology – Concordia VX – which their start-up is developing.
The question that arises now is who exactly is Nefe, where did she come from, and why is she hell-bent on destroying so many people, both in the past as well as in the future? Is there a bigger agenda to all that she's doing? And what happens when Tej has to work with someone he knew, from before. Someone that he now detests.
Review:
Just four and half months after the first book in the Time Travelers Universe graced our eyeballs, Varun Sayal is here with another smashing science fiction, where he creates a fantastical world of a race from beyond. There is a new antagonist, a fresh and exciting storyline, and the same old but now 'more aware of his own powers' Tej. I was waiting for this sequel eagerly. Not because the first book ended on a cliff-hanger, as it didn't but because I was curious to see what would happen next. In stories such as these, there is never the peace of, whatever happens, happens for good, is there? Just like that, whatever has happened till now, was nothing other than a part of a bigger plan!
The author introduces the story to the readers in the thick of the action, a tactic which I absolutely love. Kuntala is someone we have already met in the first book, though she mysteriously disappears, most probably because being as accomplished as she is, Rigu saw the threat she was to him. But this book starts on a shocking note. And the entire story kept me reeling. Not only the past, but we travel to the future as well. Only the present is missing, our present that is, and that is what makes this more interesting.
I can definitely say that Sayal's books cannot be classified into any one genre. While it is obviously a sci-fi and a fantasy but, there is an adequate representation of LGBTQ as well, which makes it more special. It is something I didn't mention in the review of the first book because it didn't seem to be a viable plot point then. Also, somewhere along the way, I felt that the author's debut book – his collection of short stories – explained some of what happened in these books of the Time Travelers Universe, but to be sure of that, I will have to re-read them.
This book is the ultimate time travel fantasy! I loved the storyline, where even after defeating one villain, stopping them from getting their hands on something deadly, another appears with the same motive but totally different means to achieve it. The author has created such a well thought out universe that it was exciting to read how exactly Rubina and Vedika became what we read in the first book as Vedvance Technologies Inc. and how they created Concordia VX, which seems to be the bone of contention this time.
Tej, who only recently discovered his true heritage, is still learning how to be a good time demon. But, he still has to learn whom to trust though, always having faith in the wrong bunch of people. And neither us readers apparently, because midway through the story the author always drops a bomb and yet it came as a surprise to me. Ha! Ha! Ha! Whenever Tej seemed to be gaining ground, his enemies seem to be one step ahead. There are quite horrific revelations throughout the story and of course, graphic violence, so I would caution everyone before picking it up as your next read as it can be a bit disturbing in certain parts.
A new race is introduced, the Kshins, and that is from where the title has been derived. Interesting! While it is relatively easy to inject fantasy into history, to create a futuristic world is indeed a great achievement. And the author captures it wonderfully. The author builds a world in keeping with the themes currently going on around our world. But along with Kshins come the good guys too. The dual power bearers, time demons/time readers – Kuleens. I like how the author completes a story, and yet creates interest for the next book in the series with something totally new. I like his style.
I would definitely recommend this book, you are in for the ride of your life! Especially if you dig the following movies/shows: Prometheus and The Host and Agent Carter, purely from a sci-fi angle. Also, this is the second book in the series and it is recommended to read it in order for the story to make complete sense.

This is third and another great book of the time demon series. After reading the first book in the series; I just couldn't stop myself from reading this one. It was so magical and at times practical. I love sci-fi books so much that they fill new excitement in my mind; this is one of them. The story is continued from where it stopped in the first one.

I loved how the villain Nefe is larger than life and almost invincible no matter what the time period.
The introduction of the other race, the Kuleens, is also an interesting angle to help the protagonist Tej battle his nemesis. I always believe that a strong villain is necessary to build a strong hero and thereby a strong plot. This Nefe character is stronger than Rigu and Kumbha. I loved the concept of Lorem, a time demon who is present in all time slices, kind of like God in our ideologies. I liked how Lorem partially gets involved in the schemes of Tej. If only we could persuade God to help us humans the same way Tej persuades Lorem! Or maybe we do already.
The book ended well, there are lots of character twists and all. Waiting eagerly for the next book written by the author.

Tej had captured Rigasur and the betrayer now lay on a cement block tied up in chains next to the other two time demons, Kumbh and Vetri but whilst he thought he could now relax with his friend in his small village of Sarp-Nagar Tej is visited by Nefe and her two assistants who killed in cold blood and made all the villagers ill and comatose. In order to battle this new threat Tej travels to a modern highly technologized age where he finds out about an alien race known as Kshins who were out to take over the world. He tried to form alliances but was betrayed time and time again! Can no one be trusted? Poor Tej was the only time-demon with a conscience it seems, but was too naïve for anyone's good. This book became more sci-fi than fantasy and very complicated as Tej travelled between one age and another doing his best to capture Nefe and save both his village, his people and the world of the future too. I am very engrossed in this series which I am finding very captivating and am dying now to read the last book especially as this book ends with quite an interesting surprise!

A great sci-fi story. I enjoyed reading it. This book has action, adventure and suspense. You should read it, if you are a fan of science fiction.

This is the 3rd book by author Varun Sayal which is the second installment of "Time Travelers" book series. It falls in Sci-Fi (Science Fiction) genre and it remains true to that.
The Plot:
The story moves forward from the point where it was left in part 1 (Book: Demons of Time: Race to the 7th Sunset). But even if you haven't read the first installment, this book can be read alone as a standalone book too. Of course, it would be better to read it in sequence though.
Rigasur is now overpowered by Tej and both Kumbh and Vetri are also nullified (or it seems!). They are sent to the deep sleep and it seems that the things will move on positively from this point.
But when does it happen in the way we desire? Nefe is ready to strike in the form of a new and even more dangerous challenge with Kshin warriors. She attacks the ashram (where the prisoners are kept) in absence of Tej. She brutally tortures the people there and feel amazed by seeing the bodies of the prisoners. Will she free them?
She hasn't any idea about Tej and his whereabouts. She is looking for someone else! Whom? and Why?
In the modern world, Vedika Sharma and her wife (yes, no typo here) Rubina Vance are running the most successful AI (Artificial Intelligence) company! They are super successful and they have plans to go much beyond where they are. They love each other and they have a beautiful daughter too!
Someone is waiting to attack their empire!
Who is he/she? And Why? And, if both these events belong to different timelines, what is the connection? Well, we can't reveal it as it will lead to spoilers ).
Views and Reviews:
Varun is growing as an author with each of his books. And, he seems to be in full form as an author. The book, in some attributes, is even better than the previous installment. Not only the vocabulary is improved, but the way he infuses the changes happening in our surrounding; in the story is something you will surely enjoy.
The book has a few typographical errors, but we are informed that the ARC shared with us was not proofread and the errors are already rectified in the final version.
If you have a flair to keep a track of happenings around the world and if you are an avid reader or a movie buff, you will be able to find many links here. Not only in the explanation of multi-story parking or various chases, but also in character names. If you know about the Miranda Law (USA), you can link it with what a character named as Miranda does, and so on.
Varun seems to be an admirer of "freedom" in many aspects. And yes, freedom (within disciplined boundaries) let us weave the tapestry of society and let everyone live (in true meaning) their lives. Encouraged by the response to the mention of inclination of the protagonist for his same-sex friend, in the previous book, he goes ahead and shown a ladies couple in this book.
The book has some interesting lines with a philosophical touch, some real-life lessons, and some lines provide humor and some explain the scenes quite well. Rather than quoting them all, I would like to mention the below-given block from the book, to give you an idea about the quality of writing you can expect from it:
"Don’t worry, Mr. Morales. I will speak from my heart, and I will speak the truth. That’s the best arrow I have in my quiver."

This is the 3rd book by author Varun Sayal which is the second installment of "Time Travelers" book series. It falls in Sci-Fi (Science Fiction) genre and it remains true to that.
The Plot:
The story moves forward from the point where it was left in part 1 (Book: Demons of Time: Race to the 7th Sunset). But even if you haven't read the first installment, this book can be read alone as a standalone book too. Of course, it would be better to read it in sequence though.
Rigasur is now overpowered by Tej and both Kumbh and Vetri are also nullified (or it seems!). They are sent to the deep sleep and it seems that the things will move on positively from this point.
But when does it happen in the way we desire? Nefe is ready to strike in the form of a new and even more dangerous challenge with Kshin warriors. She attacks the ashram (where the prisoners are kept) in absence of Tej. She brutally tortures the people there and feel amazed by seeing the bodies of the prisoners. Will she free them?
She hasn't any idea about Tej and his whereabouts. She is looking for someone else! Whom? and Why?
In the modern world, Vedika Sharma and her wife (yes, no typo here) Rubina Vance are running the most successful AI (Artificial Intelligence) company! They are super successful and they have plans to go much beyond where they are. They love each other and they have a beautiful daughter too!
Someone is waiting to attack their empire!
Who is he/she? And Why? And, if both these events belong to different timelines, what is the connection? Well, we can't reveal it as it will lead to spoilers ).
Views and Reviews:
Varun is growing as an author with each of his books. And, he seems to be in full form as an author. The book, in some attributes, is even better than the previous installment. Not only the vocabulary is improved, but the way he infuses the changes happening in our surrounding; in the story is something you will surely enjoy.
The book has a few typographical errors, but we are informed that the ARC shared with us was not proofread and the errors are already rectified in the final version.
If you have a flair to keep a track of happenings around the world and if you are an avid reader or a movie buff, you will be able to find many links here. Not only in the explanation of multi-story parking or various chases, but also in character names. If you know about the Miranda Law (USA), you can link it with what a character named as Miranda does, and so on.
Varun seems to be an admirer of "freedom" in many aspects. And yes, freedom (within disciplined boundaries) let us weave the tapestry of society and let everyone live (in true meaning) their lives. Encouraged by the response to the mention of inclination of the protagonist for his same-sex friend, in the previous book, he goes ahead and shown a ladies couple in this book.
The book has some interesting lines with a philosophical touch, some real-life lessons, and some lines provide humor and some explain the scenes quite well. Rather than quoting them all, I would like to mention the below-given block from the book, to give you an idea about the quality of writing you can expect from it:
"Don’t worry, Mr. Morales. I will speak from my heart, and I will speak the truth. That’s the best arrow I have in my quiver."

Wow. The author surprised me again with this book. Also he integrated his earlier short story of time-crawlers in to the plot of this book. Good job.
This book picks up the story a few days after the last book, but time is very arbitrary in time-travel books. The writing style improved a lot over the last book, the world also expanded. There are many new things in this book. I liked how the author weaved the explanations of these in to the plot. The race to the 7th sunset wasn't as racy, but this race to the last eventuality is a fast paced book. At places, the scenes didn't transition well, seemed abrupt (maybe that comes with territory), but individual scenes were great, so I wasn't concerned. The reader gets to know Tej better. I was thinking that killing but boy was I wrong! This book is a good blend of sci-fi concepts and plot building. The plot was convoluted enough to through reader (at least me) off the scent, but not too convoluted to confuse the reader. I can see the influence of Hollywood in some scenes, but that's fine as the story was set in future and in USA. One loose end about Kumbh's rescuer from first book was answered here.
Despite all this, there is something off this book that i can't quite put my finger on. Some scenes leave me with the incompleteness you feel when you are about to sneeze, anticipate it and ready yourself, but right at the last moment it vanishes. I think 'anti-climactic' describes it to some extent. Like the Noctous episode. That was one of the most epic buildups I've encountered in my life. That scene could have been dealt in a better way. I still get goosebumps thinking about it.
Other issues: Can clones sweat? How are clones different from robots concerning a time-demon possession? Who's the young Tej in the first book? What did Tej and his accomplice do during the years 2070-73? Did they jump between the time slices or waited around? Also why fancy-smanshy names like Noctous, Larem to characters that already have names? And biggest of all, when I tried to read this book on my Kindle, the text appeared grey and I couldn't change it. So had to read it on the mobile app.
All these are quashed by the final scene. Awesome cliffhanger. So many question. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book. And again, I think this series isn't getting enough attention.

Excellent work by author. Another gripping novel by Vinay Sayal. Eagerly waiting for next novel in this Time Travelers series.

This is a shamelessly belated review and I guess I should now just stop apologising for the delays, if I am going to keep repeating the same thing. (Note to self: Maybe post reviews in time so you don't have to be an ass to yourself. :/)
So! Coming to the second book in the Time Traveller Series. Varun, the author was gracious enough to send me this ARC. This is my third book by the author and my love for his books and respect for him as an author has only grown with each book of his books.

Devourers of Suryaksh is the second book in the Time Traveller Series and, unlike most sequels, I am of the opinion that it is an even better read than the first one.
The blurb does justice to the plot, so I am not getting into that.
The Storyline: The narrative picks up from the end of the last book. There are various references to the previous book in this one. (And since I have read both the books in quick succession, it will be difficult for me to say whether you can read this one as a standalone. I would definitely not recommend it though.) The story is, mostly, crisp and fast paced. There is a perfect blend of mythology with sci-fi and the result is this beautiful book. (I say mostly because the repeated back-and-forth of Tej's character sort of made me lose interest, but only mildly.) The second half of the book was more enjoyable for me for it was paced faster than the first. There are several jumps in time that gave the book a swift character,
The Characters: The characters are mostly well-shaped. Tej and Rigu from the first part play a big role in this book as well. There were some characters that sort of drifted in and out of the story. That bothered me a little. However, the star of this book was Nefe. If 'Because You Love to Hate Me' had an Indian version, I am sure Nefe would effortlessly make a part of it. This character is so evil, you almost want to go in the book, drag her out and set her straight. But the power she exudes is kind of charming.
The Language: The language is flowy. I say this every time but I will still say it again - I am not a fan of jargon. Simple language is beautiful and, in that sense, this book is beautiful.
Another note that I want to make (which I may have done earlier as well) is the absolutely beautiful mash-up (for the lack of a better word) between the centuries-ago-BC mythology and yet-to-come-AD technology. Varun has managed to paint quite a vivid picture through his descriptive narration. (I have flashes of Tej's village, Rigu's ashram and the Sky coffee shop, in my head. Not kidding.) This is what makes Varun's narrative stand out for me - the fact that the images stay with you long after you've read the book. It was the same for me for the previous two books. I still have them in my mind's gallery.)
Recommendation from previous review: I highly recommend this book to everyone who loves sci-fi, time travel, fantasy fiction, mythology - in short, anyone who enjoys reading beyond the realm of reality as we know it. You will not be disappointed. I, for one, am eagerly waiting (AGAIN) for the next part!

The author’s imaginative and original thinking and his calibre to pen his thoughts into words brilliantly is appreciable.

Divided into 25 chapters,the book begins right after the first book in the series. Tej,our protagonist now has the ability to time travel. We are also introduced to a new race.

I have read 3 books by the author. What surprises me each time is the author’s ability to add new elements and themes and the story never seems repetitive.

The ripple effect of Tej's heroic win against Kumbh brings Nefe, a nefarious Wiccan into his path. Nefe is evil incarnate who rejoices in human suffering and makes it entertaining. There's no reasoning with her and her plan for world domination is worse than annihilation, it's oppression at the highest level. With breakthrough technology at her feet, her plans are far from over.
Tej was done with time traveling and wishes to spend his days in the arms of his lover but Nefe would not let him. When a mysterious illness overtakes his village, the cure lies in the future. He must stop Nefe before she destroys life as we know it.
I like how Nefe's character is written, sarcastic, spoiled yet powerful and downright evil. She gives me a cringe worthy feeling but her prowess is commendable.
The story does not contain the signature ancient rituals as in previous books and is solely concentrated on the future tech. The flow is a lot smoother with proper explanations and better understanding.
The story is amazing, with loads of twist and turns. Usually, by the time u reach a 3rd book in the series, u pretty much know what's going to happen but in this books, the predictability is less which makes it for an excellent suspense read too.
The end is kind of anticlimactic but there's a cliffhanger at the end again, mind blowing. Also, the ending seemed a little abrupt to me.
There are many inconsistencies here n there n since its a narrative rather than a POV, those slip ups stand out. But it doesn't affect the essence of the story in any manner.
The best part about this book is the storyline and the interweaving technology, beautifully laid out n shows the extent of author's imagination and world building ability. This is one series u definitely ought to pick.

This is the second book in the time traveller series. I would say that it is the perfect continuation of the first book and has all the elements of an entertaining thriller. The cliffhanger at the end will surely make you look forward to the next book. As it is a part of the time traveller series, I couldn't help but compare it with the first book. Devourers from Suryaksh is quite bold, pacey and modern when compared to Varun Sayal 's previous work. It also has a powerful first chapter just like in the first book.
It all starts with the introduction of kshins who are aliens from Suryaksh who feed on human emotions. Kshins want to conquer the world so they can inflict pain and use the human emotions. They are like Dementors from Harry Potter, except that these kshins can possess humans and take over their lives in the end. They want to use up the human emotions to revive their entire race. Nefe, a top member of the kshins community is in charge of executing the plan.
The kulleens are a more emphatic tribe of people with some superpowers who fight against the kshins and try to save the world. Tej with the help of kulleens try to fight against the kshins. They seek help from an unexpected source which is the perfect twist in the story. Whether the kshins are stopped is written as an intricate tale of plots and twists including modern technology.
The ending is unexpected. I'm eagerly awaiting the next book for the suspense to be revealed. It is that good. Do grab your copy now. The time traveller series itself is unique and very engaging. The cover is certainly eye-catching! Not exactly the way I pictured Teg from reading, but I suppose the author and artist worked on this together, so I may be wrong.
The story continues a little while after the first book, Demons of Time. Here we have Teg, a time traveler, fighting a time crawler, Nefe, that even her own kind fear. She’s hunting for a friend of Teg’s, but in her pursuit of him, she has destroyed everyone Teg loves, his entire village, and more. He faces Nefe in 3057 BC and then time travels into the future on stops to acquire allies to help destroy her at a forecasted place and time the time readers have determined.
The author continues the well-written magic and world from the first book to keep the continuum working. Through Teg’s inquiries and confrontations, we learn more and more about these “time crawlers” as he puts together an event and defense to defeat Nefe completely. There were times when I would get a bit confused as to who was doing what or when, but that was usually after setting the book down for a while. The pace is brisk and the tension is almost painful at times in this adventure of science fiction and fantasy. If you have read the first book, you will certainly want to read this second book. While I think the author puts enough into this to be understood well by first-time readers (no pun intended), I really think you will want to read Time Crawlers before reading this second book. Recommended for sci-fi/fantasy readers.

Thank you Varun for this amazing book and eager to read next in line. This book is the continuation of demons of time. Book starts from the same place where the first book end. In here tej is again the protagonist. In this book tej tries to end the rule of nefe a kshin. In this book three types of people are there a time demon, kuleen and kshin. In here kshins are the antagonists and kuleens are protoganist where as time demons are in both the categories. In the first book tej takes revenge for his mother in this book for his other family members. Author has given justice to each and every character in this book. There are many twists and turns. Sometimes u feel that nefe the kshin is so strong that nobody can defeat her, But at last all evils are devoured. For details would suggest to read the book. Author had kept the reader engrossed from the starting. Overall i would say it's better than the first part Goodread... 🙂

A complete entertainment.
Author Varun Sayal has done an incredible job of intertwining mythology and science-fiction. Each chapter of this book reads like a visual treat, a cinema unfloding before your eyes, it keeps readers on tenterhooks yearning for more.

In this particular book the author has created a super villain - who was always a step ahead from the god guys. It seemed impossible to defeat such a freak of nature. Her lethal telekinesis overwhelms the newbie time demon Tej. This time Tej is really pushed to his limits, physically and emotionally.

Like his other books the author has introduced many new exciting concepts. He has also dabbled with romance and carnal emotions. Every chapter has something new and exciting to offer. He have kept his readers guessing till the last line and ended on a cliffhanger for the next book.
Author Varun Sayal has done an incredible job of intertwining mythology and science-fiction. Each chapter of this book reads like a visual treat, a cinema unfloding before your eyes, it keeps readers on tenterhooks yearning for more.

In this particular book the author has created a super villain - who was always a step ahead from the god guys. It seemed impossible to defeat such a freak of nature. Her lethal telekinesis overwhelms the newbie time demon Tej. This time Tej is really pushed to his limits, physically and emotionally.

Like his other books the author has introduced many new exciting concepts. He has also dabbled with romance and carnal emotions. Every chapter has something new and exciting to offer. He have kept his readers guessing till the last line and ended on a cliffhanger for the next book.

Tej thought the moment he get rid of Kumbh and his 'silent' enemy, his life will be better....
Unfortunately....it's only for a moment until the arrival of greater evil than Kumbh. This time not one but in pack.
Tej has to change his method to defeat this greater evil. This book is filled with twists that is enough to put me on the edge of my seat and stunned me in many ways. While reading this book, don't expect for predictability to take place because it won't happen until the end.
Compelling read and I am looking forward for the next installment in Time Traveler series.

Book 57/55: Devourers from Suryaksh: Race to the Last Eventuality (Time Travelers #2) by Varun Sayal. Sequel to the Demons of Time by Varun, I have been reached out to read the next book in his series that recently became available to purchase! After the wild adventure the first book had put me through, I couldn't resist having this one as my next read! A page turner from start to finish, a pleasure to read Varun's work once more. With all the twists and turns, I was on the edge of my seat to know what would happen next. @varunsayal has done it again!

A very good read
The book kept me glued to it. Our hero Tej has a new enemy Nefe who is way more ruthless than Kumbh threatening entire humanity. It interesting how Rig was dragged into helping Tej and his strategic brilliance helped Tej to achieve his goal. Book explores the power of time crawlers and also shows how they need time readers to guide them. Waiting for the next book

One of the best fiction books. Writing style and imagination of the author is completely out of the world. Superb technology, weapons, and story with unexpected twists and turns. It always keeps you edged. One word: mind-blowing

This is the second book in the series and i am loving it. I really love the world the author has created. I remember reading his first book which was a collection of sci-fi short stories, and I remember writing in my review as i cant wait for him to write a series and create a new world. And when he did, his first book "demons of time" was a big hit as i had speculated after reading his first book. And the second book does the same. The narration is perfect. Language used is easy to understand and simple. There is a lot of action and suspense. I loved all of it. The ending was a cliffhanger. i cant wait to read the next in the series. The ending was totally unexpected. I did expect a win but not what came with it. The only disappointing part was in the middle of the story where the author tried to show that the war is won but i knew it there was a catch. Because is it not obvious that a story does not end in the middle ? especially a series ? So other than that the book is thrilling read.I rate this book Three out of five stars for engrossing me into this amazing world of time travelers and aliens.The book is must read and worth your time. I recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading sci-fi and fantasy novels. This book is not going to upset you.

2nd book in the Time travelers series.
The story picks up from exactly where we had left it in the first book. Tej the protagonist of the story is relaxing in his village after he thought that he had saved the world but is unaware of the fact that a bigger threat is lurking in the lives of innocent people.
Nefe is a ruthless telekinetics who kill people mercilessly and who has bigger plans for her kind.
The author has done a great job of creating a futuristic world with aliens, robots, and time travelers. There is a lot of action that makes you feel like you are watching an action movie.

What comes to your mind when you think of time travelling? This book will try to capture every scenario which is going on in your mind right now including time visions and time travel. It is a second book in the Time Traveler series. The story travels from past to present to future, every now and then, but there is a smooth transition which will help you understand the story better. If you look at it everything which is happening in the present is the outcome of the past and the future will bear its consequences, so there is always a thin line present to change the desired course of action. And Tej, the protagonist, fights hard to take revenge not just to fulfil his personal vendetta but for the greater good.
In this book, Tej fights Nefe, a time crawler, who is hunting for Tej's friends. She is an evil incarnate who takes rejoice in human suffering and feeds on it; also creating ruckus wherever she goes as her plan is to lead the world and be the evil queen. In her hunt, she had hurt the people of Tej's village and he has no other option left except to go to the future. It is full of mystery and suspense as there are some interesting twists which keep you hooked throughout. The characters are developing slowly but by the end, they tie the loose ends tightly. And I really loved the ending! It was totally unexpected but that's the beauty of parallel universe; things happen in front of your eyes but you know nothing about it. If you love reading about technology, AI, time travel or sci-fi, in general, this might interest you.
