The Dark wants vengeance...

A prophecy - that I have no faith in - unexpectedly brought me a home. Love. Family.
Now, the damn thing is trying to take it all away from me.
I refuse to let that happen! Fate can go eff itself.
They broke my heart, so I'm going to break their faces, and if I can't do it alone...
There's always Phobe.

This is the fourth and final book in the Facets of Feyrie series.

Good series but a lackluster ending. There are so many unanswered/unexplored plot lines that were just left hanging at the end of the book. Though I don't need all loose ends to be wrapped up in a tiny bow, this book could have been much more than it was. I have so many questions, Knox?, Why Licar and Auryn (why them? it felt random and rushed), what happened to the sidhe??, Life, what happens now? What's the deal with death and his battles? I have so, so, many questions. All and all, a good series but it didn't end as strong as it started. It felt as though the last book was rushed and just wanted to be done with itself. I think overall, I am disappointed in what this book could have been but is not. However, I would still recommend this series.

This was an excellent ending for a great series.

I loved Iza and Phobe since the very first book.

This book ended everything nice and neat. There were no unanswered questions and I love that.

I only wished that it was longer, but the ending was amazing.

I would highly recommend this series to all dark paranormal lovers.

Iza is taking out bad guys and cars wherever she goes, but she's tired and her heart isn't in it anymore.
It's amazing how a book that is basically a constant battle still manages to have some brevity and chuckles thrown in. The end of the world is really not a good time for me to get the giggles.
This book is pretty much everything you'd want it to be for the end of the series. Iza only knows how to go big. Lots of violence and gory details in this one, and overall, it's just damn epic.
The end leaves things open for another series but still ties up nicely.

4 Bittersweet Stars!

Such a bittersweet feeling to finally be able to read the ending of a fantastic series, but still so sad to see it go. This sadly, wasn't my favourite book in the series, it dragged quite a bit, BUT I also never wanted to see it end, and I wish we could see more into Phobe and Iza's future. Such a great book, and I'm glad they finally got their happy ending, especially after all they have been through. And I may have cried after finding out about the fates of some of my favorite characters, whom I wish still had their happy ending, although we know it won't happen. I also wish we got more interactions with Iza, Knox, and Michael before the battle and after. Overall, this was a great series and I can't wait for future works of Zoes'.

A little let down

I am not going to lie I am a little let down by this last book. I absolutely loved all the others and have been waiting on this book for what seems like forever. I feel like the big fight was actually pretty lame. We were left with so many unanswered questions like why did Knox do what he did . What happened with all the other children and all of her people that she considered family we see none of them after the fight . I would love to know what become of Michael

What reason Knox?

I don’t know why the last chapter in this book irritated me to no end. You’ll see when u read it. Just felt rushed. No explanation for Knox whatsoever. No lines to read between nothing inferred. Very disappointed in this book, but never the author. Still love her.

This is the final book in Iza and Phone’s story, and I loved that they ending was as unique, vicious, twisted and awesome as they are. Iza is trying to figure out how she, Phoebe, and the Feyrie can survive the war with the Light and Schoths, while Iza is also trying to come to grips with her feelings and the “new” Phobe. Parker has created such a unique series, and I’m sad to see it end, but it was a perfect ending for Iza/Phobe

This was the final book in the series, and it was really interesting. I liked it, but I was a little annoyed with the heroine at times. I was also sad towards the end. Other than that, I liked it and it was a good ending.

It was a decent ending. My favorite was still Phobe. Some things weren't really cleared up but I don’t care enough about the series to actually be offended by it.

Very satisfying ending for the series. I almost wish there was more in the epilogue, so we can continue the adventure. It was a short book, but succinct.

unfortunately the characters were not strong enough to carry the plot. it felt like there was so much missing in terms of plot and world building. not even to mention the grammar mistakes. this could’ve been something really cool and unique if it had met a proper editor

I loved, absolutely adored, and fantastically admired this series. It was AMAZING!

Sadly, this book was my least favorite of the bunch. I actually found myself skipping through parts because everything felt hopeless.

I didn’t like that Phobe never completely gets his memory back. It feels like this version of him is tamer. I really liked the crazy, brutal monster from the first three books, and I was sad that he’s gone. This new Phobe is nicer and more talkative, but he doesn’t seem as deeply connected to Iza as before. It feels like he’s a poor man’s version of Phobe, a cheap replacement.

I was also a little disappointed with the ending. Iza doesn’t seem to care about any of the Fairey anymore. Even the ones she deeply loved throughout the book. When she’s no longer the Shepherd, she’s just like ‘Peace out, don’t be greedy assholes!’ and leaves everyone behind without a backward glance.

What about Knox? What happened that led him to invite the Light in to betray Iza? Was it purposeful? Does he hate her? Will he be punished? She promised not to abandon him, but in the end, she does without a second thought.

What about Rachel? Are we just leaving her pretending to be the Light Prophetess with Magiks, running around New York causing mayhem?

What about the Blood Magic people who killed Iza’s baby? Before Phobe died, he promised to find and kill them, but since he doesn’t remember any of that, does that mean they get away?

What about the Sidhe? Does it not exist anymore since there won’t be another Shepherd? It’s not connected to Iza anymore (I think), but she just lets it go without a second glance? No goodbye? Nothing?! The Sidhe was like a main character, one I really liked, and we need to know what happens with it.

There are a lot of strings left hanging at the end. I feel unsatisfied.

This remains one of the weirdest series that I ever read and enjoyed.
Seriously if you got this far then this last book was a very nice ending to the series and I personally don't regret a thing.

I'm disappointed at the end...part of me continued with the series because I wanted to know the mystery behind Knox. I felt there was a story there and so scenes included him that you felt for him. Eventually...I feel like his insecurities of being left behind came true.

Amazing

What a journey Iza has taken! From the beginning of this series it's been non-stop battle for her. The first book broke my heart. The last book filled it up again.

The series started really strong. The first book Elusion was amazing and because of that I had high expectations for the series. The next two, while not being as great as the first one, were still pretty solid. But Obliteration felt rushed and left me unsatisfied. What made Elusion so different and intriguing was the setting. The prison and the Scoths territory set this dark, haunting tone to the story. I wasn't that mad when Izza and Phobe entered Earth realm, but I really hoped that the story would go back to the original setting or at least explore other realms, particularly Nether-realm. Also I din't understand why did the dark fae had to stay on Earth and fight the battle there, like the Sidhe could have existed in any realm, they could have moved anywhere but no they had to stay on Earth.
I also didn't like how every character that we were supposed to feel a connection to in the start of the series, become self absorbed idiots as the series progress. It wasn't enough that Ruthie turned out to be a bitch but why did Knox had to be corrupted too at the end!
Overall, I would still recommend this series because it still is a lot better than many highly rated series out there. It would have been one of my favorites if it had retained some of the charm the first book had.

It was ok. The ending felt really abrupt and out of characters of the characters I have to say after 4 books the ending felt unfinished and disappointing. :\

THIS. WAS. SO. GOOD.

I never cry when I read, but damn I did at the end of this. My hopes were met and exceeded. The ending was perfect.

It's been a yera since I read the orwivkus book, but I loved this series so much most of it was pretty fresh in my mind.

I chat really be too specific without giving spoilers, but the event at the end of the last boom pretty much broke my heart for poor Iza, and when this picks up she's still hurting. However, Zoe perfectly weaved that storyline back together and I adored the page time spent on the multi tasking of killing Sloth and building their relationship back up.

This book was such a perfect mixture of dark humour, blood thirsty action and surprisingly deliciously lovely sweet scenes. Well, as sweet as two monsters can get, anyway.

Iza and Phobe have gone straight onto my top 5 fictional couples of all time lost and I am so sad this series is over, but so glad it wrapped up the way it did.

And this is it. Goodbye Iza, Phobe and everyone !

I loved this book. It's really focused on Iza and Phobe, and how they get to overcome the events of book 3. It's also the book where I felt the most evolution character-wise for our main couple. They were really sweet and I loved how the relationship between Iza and Phobe got to evolve without being crushed by the epic events happening around them

But despite that, I admit that there's a bit of frustration in my heart after closing this book. Nothing big enough to remove a star, because I enjoyed the heck out of this read, but some things stil bothered me. To be more precise, I feel, like we miss 50 to 100 pages in this book, because of all the loose ends. The Iza/Phobe relationship storyline is perfect, but every situation that started around a secondary character is left unfinished. It's like the author had the same fed-up feeling about Feyrie than Iza and just abandoned their stories....

Despite this, I loved the end twist (even if part of it is SO heavily hinted that you can guess it right away)

Overall, an amazing and truly original series that truly deserves to be more well-known. And look forward to reading other books from this author !

Well, it's a bit of a different ending than I had expected but it's not bad at all.

As always, Iza was amazing and so was Phobe, ofcourse. I liked the new and different Phobe, mainly that he interacted a lot more with Iza and shared more of himself. It made their relationship better in my opinion.

I thought Jameson got a raw deal in the end but it somehow does work in a slightly meh way but oh well.

I would have liked to see a bit more of closure for Knox, since that was kinda whack?

The only thing that didn't make sense to me, like they're all mega protected and this tiny thing manages to do that? Seems weird honestly.

So in all, the end wasn't my fav but not the worst.

It was rushed and incomplete. I get it, the beginning stated that it was going to be a shorter book but man I did not expect it to end with so many unanswered questions. I gave if 3 stars since it was such a great series. But this last book was a flop for me.

1. I love Knox. What the hell happened?
2. Rachel in New York causing chaos. Now what?
3. What about the rest of the slaved Faerys?
4. We hear about this prophecy for 3 books for it to end like this? Yeah.....no.
5. Who created Life, Light and Darkness?

Zoe Parker is AWESOME!

Hand on my heart, this authors imagination knows no bounds, her writing is that awesome! I am always thrilled when one of her books come out and I am NEVER disappointed. I have read all of her series and I can honestly say that I have loved them all. I am going to miss this series. Cue, crying like an overgrown child over here. Great "Monsters"/characters, fantastic story telling and an intriguing storyline that will have you wanting more. I would absolutely recommend any book this author writes. Happy Reading everyone!

Well done Zoe with the ending to the Facets of Feyrie. This is the final book in the Iza and Phobe's story. A lot is happening now, with the war, and the changes involving Phobe. We get the war with the light and dark, but who will survive and who will not. Does Iza and Phobe finally get their HEA?

If you haven't started this series, I highly recommend that you do. Zoe Parker has a way of weaving a different take on the supernatural that will keep you engrossed and entertained.

Would have been 5 stars if not for all unanswered problems.
There is no question that it was a powerful story. All good(and bad) things come to an end and this is a good ending for series. It does have its faults but I still liked it. However, for the bittersweet ending I got, there were questions I would have appreciated answers for and for that it lost the shine of perfection for me.

Overall, interesting series with interesting ending and definitely worth re-reading it.

This may be the best book of the entire series

I read the original version of this story but this... this version is so much better. So often rewrites change the tone but I think in this instance Zoe Parker actually made the story fit into the world, the characters better than the original. I mean honestly it's so good I want to read it again, immediately. I am always blown away by the quality of writing and this story is no exception.
