This book is by far the best one in the series! The author really stepped up her game in terms of overarching world development. She has brought all of the different elements that have been slowly developing over the course of the first 5 books into a head that helps this world explode into a wonderfully vibrant expanse that makes me look forward to all the places she will be able to go from here with the different characters.
Declan is soooo good. I can't even explain how much I like him. He is balanced so well. The mix of dominate, possessive, and aggressive is controlled so well. You can feel it right on the edge of him, under the surface, but he maintains perfect control over all that power. He is measured and smart which is also wonderful. He handles the machinations of the political side of the Netherworld Council with aplomb and care while still being himself.
Natalie is strong and smart and a wonderful balance for him. She provides him with a landing place that is safe and loving while still being able to be herself. Her strength of character is really wonderful. Her willingness to do what is necessary for the greater good also makes me really really like her.
The premise of this book began just as several of the other books in this series did. Declan was to protect Natalie from the warlocks until the magic she gained from the love spell Carey cast wears off. Unlike the other books, this one was much less insular, the book did revolve around the couple, but it allowed the characters to wander around in the broader Netherworld and showed the political motivations and movement that occurred in the upper echelons of the Netherworld government by the different factions. We get to watch their love grow and expand while the craziness of the rest of their world swirls around them.
If this is where the series is headed, I can't wait for the next book.
I also think it is important to mention that my favorite secondary character ever was introduced in this book. I am an avid reader of this type of book, and I have never liked a character more than the secondary character of Jackson Vashtag. I am ever so hopeful that he will eventually get his own book. He is snarky and smart, he is powerful and does MMA (well the Netherworld version), he has character to do what he believes is right, and he is just oh so sexy.

I am speechless
This book is unbelievable. It's like watching a movie! and being part of it This is an outstanding author and this is an outstanding book,such a shame there is no more.
The whole series is amazing.

Before Dawn
Every book takes us closer to showdown with the crooked council members. It's going to take Declan , his mate and all their friends to take them down. I knew once Nat revealed to Declan how much she meant to him would not be willing to let her walk away from him.

Love this series. Sad I'm on to the last one. This book holds its own among the rest. I want to read more from the same universe once these are all over!

Fiv e Stars for all 6
I am a very fast reader and read through all 6 books in a matter of days. The characters and their stories we're absolutely spell bounding. So far, my favorite couple is Declan and Natalie, but I'm waiting for Silas and Hannah's story because from just the little bit of character telling on Silas and the kick-ass Hannah, I know I'll love them more!! Hurry up, I can't wait!!!!

Chaos will reign

Nice addition to the series
I loved both characters, so much. This book got me sucked in fully and the surprise i got from the “ resistance” - i did not expected this. Can not wait for Hannah’s book too.
