Book 2 of the Mindspace series starts right from where we left off in book 1 with Kira and her glowy eye surprise. Uh oh!!! Add in some early book plot twists and a deeper look towards who the real enemy is and you've got yourselves the beginning of another awesome book in the series. The intrigue dial has been turned all the up in this installment. Unknown aliens hijacking the minds and bodies of Guard officers, MTech officials and Chancellors of Governments.....to what end? Who are they and how are they doing this? That's what Kira, Leon and the team are going to find out...with a little unwanted help from Leon's sister Ellen. I'm sure that'll go off without a hitch..right???
Book 2 is just as exciting as the first book and we get to see some real change and character development for Kira. Dealing with being injected and gaining potentially dangerous powers and now having Leon back in her life working with the Guard, we get to see the more vulnerable side of Kira as well as a happier Kira as she realizes that she has more in life than just the Guard.
We get a little more information on who and where the enemy is from but there are still many unanswered questions and while Kira and the team come out on top this round, the war is far from over and I am waiting anxiously for book 3 which comes out in 4 days.

This series is like the old movie serial. Book one solved one problem but ended with another bigger problem revealed. Book two does the same. Once again the characters fight danger and a surprise reveal. As they take care of that reveal another bigger problem comes up. This one is not solved it is left for the next book in the series. This is really fun with great characters, interesting world building, and backstory. Pick this up for a fun read.

I received an ARC of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The plot thickens as mysterious masterminds are revealed behind the events in the previous volume. How will Kira and all the others involved manage to defeat those masterminds?
The story kept me quite hooked and I'm much looking forward to learning more about those alien manipulators and about all of the characters in the series in the next volumes.

Who am I?
Infiltration set the scene, and now we see the plot develop and secrets start to surface. People are not always who they seem to be.
Kira learns about her new self, and we see her team supporting her as she grows. She has allies and friends by her side and they make a formidable team.
Now to see what happens in Offensive.

This series is great! I couldn't put it down! Incredibly well written, and hilarious! Amy is a very talented author! I highly recommend checking this series out! You should also read the main Cadicle series for background on this one. Very worth the read!

Mind bending
A different approach to alien takeovers with telepaths, telekinetics and strange worlds. The problem that arose in the prior book in the series is resolved but a bigger one looms for the next. Can’t wait!

Really good series continues
This series continues to be really interesting. I always like good space and sci-fi writing and so far this is keeping me interested. I can’t wait to see how it continues. I recommend it.

Riveting sci fi adventure
The world building is great, the good characters are likeable, and the bit of romance is nicely done. The adventure is almost non-stop in this second book with no cliffhanger ending and a third book waiting for me.

Much better
Better story telling. The plot seems to have come into focus. Now to see how Kira deals with the cards she has been dealt. Manipulation of the supposed elite to sway outcomes.

Not a bad series so far. I will likely read the next one to find out what happens. It will be interesting to see how deep the alien infiltration is and how formidable the aliens actually are.

I love this series! I really enjoyed the first book but this one is even better! I loved the way Kira, the main protagonist, found herself. Can’t wait to read the next one!
