This is a new Author to me I found that this Author brings Serenity Island to life it is almost like being there as you read this story. The story centers around one woman Camellia Holiday and the ups and downs in her life and the friends and family around her, after she goes back to her hometown, also the enemies around her, and the man that comes to love her. I will be looking for more by this Author. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

When I Choose is a lovely story about returning home when life doesn't work out as planned. I loved the author's description of Camellia's small hometown on Serenity Island--wish I could visit in real life.
The family dynamics between the four sisters was enjoyable and real to life.
High recommend!

This book was a good distraction for me when I needed a fast, easy read. Camellia is a great lead.
This is a story about so many things all in one. There are quite a few ups and downs. It’s light at times and deep at times, which is great.

I liked the emotion conveyed in this novel in every way. High and lows, we felt them with the characters.

To me this reads as a wonderful Women’s Fiction with Romance undertones. It’s a great read.

This is the 1st book I've read written by Kathryn Long; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I loved the chemistry between the characters.

A great read that was both sweet and believable.

The plot is very well developed right along with the characters. They are real and have their faults. You will have moments where you want to reach in the book and smack them, but they are endearing none-the-less.

Its a great read. I loved learning about these characters and their lives, plus it has a wonderful romance.
