What a cutie this book was l don’t remember the last time I laughed at something so naturally funny the howl novel just flowed so well from it’s innocent drama to it’s heartfelt messages that resonate throughout all ages leaving me smiling joyfully to the very end.
What l liked most about the story was
the main characters and how they have there own individual goals and the healthy relationship they developed on the way to reaching them even through tough times the High school sweethearts still respected & supported each other when they did not agree with one another was just heartwarming.
What l wasn’t a fan of was at some times Gray can be a bit bland of a character but Addy sure makes up for this with her adorable personality and another thing l wasn’t a fan of was the lake of Halloween presses that felt more in the background in the story which disappointed me as l expected it to be more prevalent with it being in the title.
Overall l thought it was a well written out middle grade/ YA sweetheart romance that represents what high school is really about and the hidden message about ’ you don’t need to change yourself to be hot because being your self is enough ‘ deserves a round of applause and that is why I’m giving it a 4.1/2 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟💫
