This is Cristela and Mac’s romance. Cristela’s f*ckboy boyfriend Silus hits her with the ‘I need a break’ so her sister hits her with ‘you should take a trip’ so she goes to Boston. It’s in Boston that she meets Mac. Giving me all the love Jones, instant attraction vibes, the author had me hooked on the flow of the story because it’s a cross between poetic as hell and words of wisdom, giving you free game with your one click.
I loved me some Mac. I’ll never tire of a confident, sure of himself and what he can do for his woman, hero.
This does end off a cliff hanger but off I go to one click the next book because it’s already out!

I was on the fence for most of this book. I had a hard time getting into the storyline because, the whole insta love didn't work for me with these characters. Christela's boyfriend has broken up with her for a second time because, he needs to "figure things out." We all know that's code for him wanting to f*ck around without consequences. At the urging of her sister, Christela takes a solo weekend trip to Boston for some much needed me time. While there, she meets Mac. It was pretty much love at first sight for Mac when he saw Christela sitting in the bar. She fell hard for him too but, for some reason, their instant attraction didn't work for me. It just didn't feel genuine. I don't know. The storyline didn't have enough substance for me. It was a borderline weak. Now, it did start to pick up a little steam towards the end. That run in Christela had with Mac and his ex at the baby store definitely peaked my interest. Feign for Me was my first book by Ivy Laika. I wouldn't say I was wowed enough to read more of her books but, nosey enough to finish this series.

Noooo!!!! Why you end the book like that???? Have mercy I need more. This was the start of a great relationship that I hope don’t go downhill after what Chris discovered at the end. The love that bounced off of each page was amazing. I loved seeing mentions of Saint, Kofi and Kai. I really do love those characters. Can’t wait to get part 2.

Mac is not the father of his ex girlfriend baby. Remember in the book he told Chris he always came in a condom except with her. This is Mac soulmate the woman in his dream. She had the same dream and they didn't know each other. This is fate. Ivy I know you better fix this in the next book. Very good book. Hurry up with pt 2.

Mac and Christmas
Hey Ivy!!! I enjoyed your try at erotica. I think you gave them a genuine connection that wasn’t just sex. I’m excited about what the next move is for them. If I can be honest, I’m kind of over the exes always having a place in the leading characters new relationships until proven otherwise (not want to give anything away)...please send mya on her way and allow these two to develop into whatever your writing imagination will lead because Chris is too 😉 ijs 🤷🏽♀️

I loved how Mac and Chrissi connected on many levels outside of physical. The fact that they both has the same dream had me even more in love with this story. Dreams can be prophetic and their dreams were definitely that. I feel like Chrissi should have gone ahead and lives just as freely as she yearned to once she returned to NY. I am about to read Yearn for Me and I cannot wait!!

This story begins with Mackenson and Christela meeting during a weekend getaway, and the chemistry was through the roof from the beginning. Mac knew that Chris was going to be his wife and asked her to give him a weekend to prove it, she did and it was the best weekend every, but Chrissi had doubts. This book made me want to go away for a weekend and meet a man like Mac. The sex scenes were explosive. The ending was a bit of a cliffhanger, but Ivy has book two, Yearn for me right behind it. This book is a must read!!!!

HONEY....
This book gave me so many emotions, yet left me wanting soooo much more. I am a STAN for this I'm every aspect. I couldn't have gotten more entwined with this story.
I felt every emotion she had and learned so much from his words. You never realize how you love until you see someone else just like you play it out in front of you.
This gave me so much to think about and to feel. Not just heart feelings but also the freeness that she felt being with someone who embraces you for who you are, who you want to be, and soooo much more.
This book touched me in so many ways it's hard to even express. I just want so much for this couple. Not just as a couple but individually.
I can't wait to start the next book!

Unexpected forever love
Well this was my first read fromMs. Ivy and I am in awe! This story was beautiful and her characters are strong and relatable. She makes you want to have it all in love and life with just the beginning of the main characters chance of a lifetime meeting. This is movie in the making and I’m definitely a fan. Continue to write and I will definitely continue to read! Oh and readers the love making is off the scale. Mac is book bae and Chrissi is all of us normal every day women looking for that forever love.

This story was sexy as hell! Chris and Mac were couple goals! How they connected, shared and loved in that short amount of time was beyond amazing!
