Allen Currie, the author of his first shocking debut book titled; OPERATION PHOENIX, is a fictional view into what is happening in our world today.


"I was born and raised on a dirt poor farm during the dirty ‘30’s. Started into computers when you still walked inside them, taught computer operation and programming, I went on to become a CFO and CEO, then moved into consulting, primarily with the most advanced banks in the world.

Later I switched to “competitive intelligence” consulting, whose evil twin is industrial espionage. I now live in Ontario, Canada. Along the way, I have climbed mountains, traveled around the world, became a glider pilot, and a sculptural hot glass artist collected by international museums."

Thought I would try my hand at writing which has produced my first book now released titled; OPERATION PHOENIX ...

I love the book and it got me thinking and looking into what got down the last few years and I agree with the author cause I see what is going one with Greece and what happened with Iceland when their banking system got down and all the other 'insolvent' countries in Europe. So when a major player like the USA goes broke cause they (Goverment) spent to much money and have a huge deficit and the mentality to buy per creditcard and being in over one's ears in creditcard debts up to almost 5 years in the future for every person and then the Goverment debts, the housing debts and so on and nobody want to lent the struggling country money and since all the major things like Gas and other supplies are paid with Dollars. So that this crash also going like a tsunami around the world. Some wont believe this but it can and will happening cause it happend in the 1920s/1930s and history tend to repeat itself when goverments and people don't be wary with their spending. I heard stories from my parents how hard it was during the Black Friday Crash way back and how hard it was before the Allies invented the German D-Mark, a bread did cost a billion reichsmark and then you had to be happy to get some, all was rationed so people picked up their much valuable and went to the farmers to buy directly, they used gold (juwelry), china, clothes, shoes anything they thought would get them food into their mouth and they were happy when the Care packets started to arrive. So I remember well and yes I have some precious metal like juwelry to barter for things when such a worst case scenario happens in my lifetime, my dad always bought gold chains and other jewlry for his girls and coins cause he remembered that bartering with some valuable can be urgent when it comes to starving to dead or living another day. He and my mom where born in 1921 and 1927 so they lived what is written in this story.
I give this book 5 stars and this is a honest review cause I never got a free ARC or a free book cause I purchased my copy.
