Ran est une fille assez parfaite que beaucoup considèrent comme un modèle à suivre : sérieuse, sportive, intelligente, soucieuse de sa santé, etc. Mais il n'est pas facile de rencontrer un garçon quand ces derniers la considèrent, à son grand dam, comme « l'inaccessible étoile » ! Un jour, elle fait fortuitement la connaissance de Akira, un garçon solaire, naturel, franc et amical et elle découvre également son "secret": il est fils de fleuristes, apprécie beaucoup travailler au magasin de ses parents et sait déjà qu'il deviendra lui aussi fleuriste. Mais il n'ose l'avouer à personne de peur que l'on se moque de lui.

I am late to the party with this series, but OH MY LORD I HOPE WE GET PHYSICAL PRINTS OF THIS ONE!!!
Ran and Akira have such a pure relationship. Having it all center around flowers and their meaning just truly makes my heart swoon so much! This series has more dynamics than this pure relationship, but I truly enjoy it so much. I have a hard time forming my thoughts. Once I get them more sorted out, I will update this review.

It’s so sweet it will give you a tooth ache. The art is beautiful also. I love both main character and the tidbits about flowers. I can’t wait to read more.

THIS IS SOOOOOO GOOD!! *happy cries*
It gives me a lot of similar vibes and happiness that A Sign of Affection does, but in its own unique way. I laughed so much and could not help smiling because these two are so adorable and precious!
Ran's family is absolutely hilarious! I laugh every time they come on page because poor Ran looks thrown for a loop as to how she should react! LOL!
And of course our couple continues to be absolutely amazing and have really enjoyed the pacing and how they have subtly told each other their feelings. The first two chapters of this volume were definitely everything and cannot wait to see this ship sail!
I deeply continue to love and enjoy this series! It's definitely been a joy to read and so desperate for more! (Currently debating if I want to pay the full price to read the next volume or not *laugh cries*)

It's so cute to see how things are blooming between Takamine and Saeki. While we're still unsure with how Saeki feels towards Takamine (if he's in love or considers her a good friend), Takamine has developed feelings towards Saeki. I'm scared that she's going to be hard on herself for it because she's so not used to having these feelings or even befriending someone like Saeki.
The part where Saeki had to carry Takamine during a race was so cute and it's obvious that he noticed how much effort she gave into all the competition. Takamine part-timing at Saeki's family flower shop was a highlight too, I wish we can have more of that ♡

Going through my manga binge again haha.
Again, this series is cute and learning about the different flowers is nice.
I do prefer the second half of this volume as we get to meet Akira's mother whilst the first half focused on familiar shojo tropes. Nothing wrong with tropes but they happened quite quickly one after another.

I love Kazehaya from Kimi ni Todoke — he is probably my favorite anime/manga boy EVER — but Akira is giving him a run for his money. I mean, Akira feels realistic in some ways that Kazehaya didn’t, so... Either way, this is a wonderful series so far, and I highly recommend it!!

This is only volume 2 and everything is so cute and I want to cry!
There are so many festivals in this one, and of course, the usual sport festival. I actually really liked the sport festival which is surprising, but I guess it’s because the festival only lasts one chapter and it didn’t drag at all like some previous manga I’ve read where the sport festival or school festival in general, dragged during several chapters which usually annoys me a lot. Both festivals are a means to bring Saeki and Ran closer together as well as build their relationship, their scenes together were sooo good and cute, I absolutely loved it.
We also have Saeki telling Ran a little bit more about himself and his childhood, especially about his mom or the prejudice he suffered in school because he was a guy who liked flowers. He’s such an interesting character and I liked that we learned more about him so early on in the series.
I forgot to talk about the drawing style in my review of volume one, so I guess it’s time that I’m doing it. What first draw me to pick up the series is because I thought the drawings were really good and her style is nothing like I’ve seen before. After reading two volumes, it didn’t disappoint me.

This really isn't doing much for me, I can't connect with the characters and I'm not that interested in flowers (though it is refreshing to see the FMC and MMC connecting through a shared interest). Everything also just feels too exaggerated. Also, the dad character is super annoying and knowing he'll eventually cause some tension in the main relationship is not something I have the patience for.

November 20, 2024awww this is still adorbs🥰. i literally forgot this centers around flowers lmao. the working at the florist sequence lowkey made me nostalgic for my old job. it can be so mundane and menial, but sometime it just hits you that you’re working with something so beautiful. ngl ran’s being a little old with the possessiveness of her new boy, like, girl you do not need to feel jealous of the time he spends with his mom ong.

A gentle romance that warms the heart. Ran and Akira are so sweet and straightforward compared to the usual shoujo characters. I’m a little mystified about Ran being out on a pedestal by her classmates, though she is shockingly earnest and diligent in her studies and exercise.

June 5, 2021Ce deuxième tome m'a beaucoup plu, j'aime vraiment bien qu'à côté de la relation qui se développe entre nos deux personnages, on puisse en apprendre sur le langage des fleurs. En parlant de leur relation, elle est vraiment mignonne. Ce shojo est vraiment une lecture doudou :)

This is so vanilla it is cleansing my dark and mushy soul. The ML is effortlesssly rising up to the top of my favorite shoujo boys list because of how smooth he was. It’s so sweet and fluffy that it's concerning because it makes me anxious what if someone comes between them

J’ai beaucoup aimé le rapprochement des personnages qui me semble tout de même un peu rapide. Le développement de la relation, la découverte de la mère du protagoniste et de leur travail de fleuriste rend ce tome émouvant.🌼

this is probably the sweetest manga i’ve read, akira and ran’s relationship is so wholesome and the way they treat each other with kindness and consideration 🥹 might be a new comfort manga.
