I had tried a few keto diets before, but Keto Resources organizes everything in one place—meal plans, recipes, and tips for staying in ketosis. A friend of mine started it and said it made the diet manageable and enjoyable instead of stressful.

I followed some of the meal plans myself and noticed more energy and fewer cravings. The book is practical and flexible, helping you stick to keto without feeling deprived. If you’re looking for a complete guide to keto, this is a resource worth investing in.

Diets are not really successful it takes a total transformation of your lifestyle to be successful in weight loss. Using the keto method reduce heavy carb foods with low carb ones. One of my favorite things about the keto plan is that it uses what you already like and have in your pantry rather than having to find a specialty store looking for squid ink for example. When I realized that I could still have things like bacon and butter I was very intrigued. In the beginning, the reader is given a crash course which is not too technical for readers on nutrition. Then the reader is guided to a helpful list of foods to eat and those to avoid. Example: Avoid all grains, but drink whole milk. Or, Avoid Cashews instead have Macadamias or Walnuts. Next, the reader is given a pantry list to get them set up for success. Mostly, everything was on my list except for items that I just hadn't picked up at the store before my weekly grocery trip. Surely, you have baking powder, peanut butter, and milk on hand. The book even suggests kitchen tools to inventory regular pots and pans, cast iron if you have one and also how to organize your spice rack, the Keto Way. My favorite part were the recipes: Along with a handy shopping list attached it was easy to plan a dinner for one night and breakfast for the next morning. My absolute favorite recipes include: Herbed infused chicken, peanut butter cookies, and rib eye steak with garlic thyme butter. Some recipes will show reader pictures of what their final product should be as well as the nutrition information attached. Some recipes are included on a 4 week meal plan but others are bonus. I can't wait to add not only the recipes to my arsenal but also the lifestyle. Anyone looking for a slight change just swap your usual recipes for these or ready to commit full time will appreciate this clear, concise, and useful book.

Intermittent fasting can be paired with this challenge, although it will depend on the person. For me, when I add fasting to my diet and compact my eating window, it becomes way too restrictive. This brings back a lot of issues with my past easting disorders.

Some people swear by fasting and in these cases, it does wonders for their bodies. However, I’m just not one of those people. I love listening to my body and eating when I’m hungry. So if I wake up starving, I don’t want to punish myself and wait 5 hours until I can eat. If I wake up not hungry then I have the option to wait until I am. For me, it’s too much pressure on my already fragile mind. Waking up and listening to what my body wants work way better than setting a time frame around food.

My husband and I have just started the ketogenic diet and I've been a bit overwhelmed. A friend recommended this book, so I decided to give it a try. I just got it today, and have already read it! Author breaks it all down so well, so it is so much easier to understand. In this book you get four different shopping lists for each individual week of menus she provides. Basically there are plans for whole month out for you with tons of delicious sounding means. Breakfast lunch dinner and snacks are covered! There's even a keto smoothie section which I was very happy to find! There is a list of pantry staples to have while doing keto as well which was very helpful to me. Every recipe she has on the menu is provided along with extras. This book is worth the money if you are doing keto! I've googled and joined groups and spent so much time looking things up about this online and was still having some issues but this book really helped break it down in the way I needed to understand.
