I started this book just expecting an easy read, but was pleasantly surprised! This book is really well written and the characters are very fleshed out. I liked both Ming and Brady and truly enjoyed reading about how their relationship evolved. Ming and Brady are both smart, loyal, career focused people and the way they made room for each other in their lives was very sweet. I also loved that Brady was not a manwhore!! It's rare these days to have a hero that is a hot cop who is also in a band and he never chose to sleep around and have ONS. So awesome! Also it has a wonderful epilogue!
That blurb is not appealing. Not interested in reading about a heroine that's chasing after the hero who only wants her for sex. I bet she'll end up changing her life around just to accommodate him.
The thing is he doesn’t MEAN to be an arsehole. He’s actually a good guy who lives in his own world of tortured thoughts.
He never misleads her: a sexual relationship is all he wants. He never leads her on; there’s no push and pull cos he never pulls. She knows he doesn’t love or need her and that she’s a convenient lay.
She accepts this because it’s better than not having any part of him. Until she wants more. And how I wish she’d stuck to her guns cos it was uncomfortable watching how she adores him and how he just feels ambivalent.
But even though I feel she deserves a man who puts her first, whose love matches hers in intensity, I’m okay with their HEA because it’s what SHE wants. SHE’S happy, so I’m happy.
For once I wish I didn’t have the H’s POV. I literally grimaced and cringed through most of the book at his thoughts about her, the ow, etc. Ugh, it was hard to read, especially in the face of her obvious love for him. I can’t stand when the h loves but the H doesn’t. To add insult to injury it’s not the “I loved her all along, I just didn’t realise it” kinda love. He truly genuinely doesn’t love her until the very end. Of COURSE he cares, he’s respectful, he worries about her. Everything except soulmate loving her.
Neither does he love the ow as much as he actually wants to save and protect her. But even that doesn’t pan out because he never takes it further than always looking at her longingly and going all he-man when she’s hurt. They’d have made a nice couple.
He has a come-to-Jesus moment at the END. It was so anticlimactic when it eventually happened that I didn’t care any more. She was happy and I couldn’t give a hoot about him loving her back as long as he did what he needed to do to make her life complete.
The epilogue in his POV was a nice confirmation of his devotion to her. No pulsing out-of-this-world togetherness but they’re a couple, so that’s what matters.
I’ve been reading the Time for Love series by Bethany Lopez since almost the beginning, and I’ve really grown to love this group of friends who’ve found true love within their circle and with newcomers along the way. Each of the titles in the series refers to a time element that is meaningful in the relationship, and this one, 7 months, is the story of Brady and Ming. Seven months refers to the length of time that Brady and Ming have been having a secret affair. Brady’s brother Brock is firmly entrenched in that group of aforementioned friends, and by association so is Brady, and when he met smart successful lawyer Ming through the group, the attraction between them was immediate but with conditions – Brady was very clear that it’s a friends with benefits deal only, no emotional entanglements, and Ming agreed. But she’s 35, and starting to think about having a family, and clearly Brady isn’t ready for that kind of step. Breaking things off with him seems to be the only solution. Yet Brady finds that he isn’t so happy with the prospect of not seeing Ming anymore, and that maybe his feelings on the whole idea of a relationship aren’t so cut and dried. Will he be able to own up to his true feelings for Ming before it’s too late?
I wasn’t sure how to feel about Brady at the start of the story, though it’s made clear that the relationship he and Ming have is completely mutual. They both went into this thing with their eyes open and with clear expectations of how it would look. Only 7 months down the road, those expectations for Ming aren’t so satisfying anymore. So even though Brady wasn’t treating her any differently than he’d been all along, he still comes across as a bit of a jerk when he hurts her feelings by not thinking of inviting her to any of their friend’s gatherings and continuing to keep their secret affair completely off the radar (especially where his 2 brothers are concerned). After all, he’s only holding up his end of the bargain they agreed upon. But because we know that Ming has stronger feelings for him than she’s told him, it’s natural to take her side in the story. It’s an eye opener to Ming that she’s going to have to make up her mind and she makes (in my opinion) the right choice in breaking off the affair with Brady sooner rather than later. She’s smart enough to know that she can’t keep going down this road indefinitely and even though it hurts, she does it thinking of her own future. And it’s not a ploy to get Brady to react, either – it’s something she needs to do to maintain her own self respect. Thankfully though, it does make Brady take a good hard look at his future and what it will look like without Ming, a woman he’s grown to care a lot about even if he’s never admitted it to himself. The result is some growing up on Brady’s part. That comes in part also due to some conversations he has on the job. He’s a rookie cop with a friendly partner, but until this whole situation with Ming blows up in his face, he doesn’t realize that he’s not only kept himself cut off from the woman in his life, he’s also done it to his fellow police officers too. It’s the start of a shift in attitude for the better. I appreciated seeing Ming stand up for herself, and watching Brady mature over the course of the story. The two of them together definitely have chemistry, as evidenced by the steamy love scenes between them, but when Brady opens up to Ming and starts communicating, that’s when their relationship really takes off.
Another thing I appreciated about this story was that Ming’s concerns over what her conservative Japanese parents would think of her dating a non-Asian man were dealt with but didn’t take over the story. And it was a pleasant surprise when her mother acknowledged that she was more interested in seeing Ming happy, no matter with whom that is. We get a little taste of her traditional culture that added to the story the idea that two people from different backgrounds can still have a successful relationship if they are willing to put in the work.
Overall, I enjoyed this story (once I got over Brady’s ‘you’re such a guy’ moments) and it was a great addition to the series. Though Brock’s story (15 Minutes) is still my favourite of the series, it’s been a pleasure seeing Brock’s brothers get their happy endings too. 4 stars.

Ming has been in love with Brady for 7 months but Brady doesn't even want to think of love. Their arrangement becomes a bitter reminder to Ming that she deserves someone who loves her as much as she would love him. So, she decided to part ways and in the process breaks her heart.
All Brady ever wanted was to be a Police Officer. His life was meant to protect and serve. He has no place for love and doesn't know what to do with a woman who doesn't needs more than he can offer. But when Ming breaks off their arrangement, he realizes the feelings that were buried deep within him. Now, he must do everything to get Ming back and make her see that what he wants is only her.
WHOOO!! This book was hot. I adored the characters and their chemistry. More than that I loved the relationship between Brady and his brothers. Their tight knit family made me feel all mushy. Bethany Lopez's story-telling is excellent. The twists and turns were great. All in all it was a fantastic read. ~Sonal
7 Months is a story that take a very friends and family oriented path straight to the hearts of it's readers. Because while it is very clear that the attraction that keeps nights (and some mornings) very warm between Brady and Ming; has a far greater pull than either of the two ever anticipated. When they agreed to their "scratch each other's itch " relationship some 7 months prior.
Making matters worse for these two. The fact that everyone around them is either married, pregnant, or paired.
So, just what is it that is stopping these two "secret lovers" from taking the plunge, and resetting their relationship status from private to public? That would be...each other.
Brady is a blue collar rocker/cop. Who takes his oath to "protect and serve," in his role as a policeman, just as serious in uniform as out. But with the calm, and collected, and very high powered attorney Ming. It seems that the only service she requires is the sexy sort. You know what they say about appearances however, and Ming is ready to see her urban knight in full regalia.
The obvious longing that these two have for a connection with each other, and their tentative steps toward more; go a long way in forging a strong emotional bond between this couple and their audience. Brady and Ming are two good people, who are (or who can be) very good together. If they could just find a way to communicate with their clothes on.
Luckily for readers, this book is not one that rests on it's romantic laurels. With drama coming at our two skittish lovebirds from all sides. Whether it be the impending birth of Bronagh's baby (Brady's sister-in law and Ming's best friend). Ming's defense of Brady's friend Natalie, against her abusive husband in court. Or a nail-bitingily intense story line crescendo for Brady and Ming, that must be red to be believed. The drama that surrounds these two out of bed, just keeps coming.
Authoress, Bethany Lopez, does a wonderful job keeping her story readable. With relatable characters, socially and emotionally relevant story lines, and settings that readers can live in. 7 Months is a world that one just cant help getting lost in.
Reviewer's Note: 7 Months is the 7th book in this series. As such there are well established character relationships at work in this novel. It is highly recommended that readers enjoy this series in its intended order.

7 Months was a super light, fun, read and just what I needed after finishing a very heavy subject book. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I will definitely check out more books by this author.
Ming and Brady have been sleeping together for 7 months very casually and in secret. Brady is a policeman and Ming is a lawyer and they have lots of friends in common. Ming’s best friend is married to Brady’s brother. Brady is very introverted, he was deeply affected by his parents’ death at a young age and he thinks he’s not cut out for relationships. Ming is head over heels for Brady and she’s feeling the pressures of being in a serious relationship and settling down. She’s a career driven woman and a successful attorney. When Ming tells Brady to get serious or get out, Brady must make a decision about their future or risk losing Ming forever.
I really loved both characters, especially Ming. She’s super strong and not afraid to go for what she wants. Brady definitely grows on you, once you understand his backstory and what he’s thinking, you’ll grow to like him. I love the relationship between Brady and his brothers and Ming and her friends. They’re a tight bunch that love each other deeply. I loved that the story flows really well, and rather fast and that there’s no unnecessary relationship drama. The relationship between Ming and Brady is strong, sweet and super hot!
This is book 7 in a series of standalone books. Every book is about a different couple. Now, I have to admit that I haven’t read all books in the series but I had no problem catching up with all the characters. But now I am super intrigued by some of their stories so I have added them to my TBR, especially since they are relatively short books.
Overall, I greatly enjoyed this story and I will absolutely recommend it if you’re looking for something short, sweet and light!

Ok, maybe it is my fault that I picked up book #7, and didn't read any of the other books in the series, but the blurb seriously had me intrigued. If you are like me, you will be able to understand most that is going on, but may not understand the dynamics of the group and trust me when I say there is a HUGE group of them. All these "B" names, and nicknames, had me going back and forth trying to figure out who was who. But of course, this is my fault for not reading the books in order, so I didn't take that into consideration when rating the book. Just an FYI for anyone else in the same boat as me.
7 Months is about Ming and Brady, who have been having a secret friends/but not really friends at all, with benefits relationship/but not really a relationship at all, for seven months. The story picks up seven months in, so me, as a new reader am not sure if the other books hinted at a connection between the two characters. Ming is in her mid-thirties and ready to take the next step with 28 year old Brady. Brady on the other hand is happy with their relationship/non-relationship, and isn't ready to bring it out into the open. Knowing that she deserve more, Ming cuts ties with Brady. Will Brady realize what he lost before its too late?
In this book, Ming was kind of a pushover. The book explains Ming as a self assured, smart, and independent go getter. Not how she was portrayed in the book. I guess this book was supposed to show Ming's softer side? As for Brady, considering how closed off he was, I expected more of a challenge for him to open up. He seemed to do a 180 pretty quickly. There were some sweet and hot moments between Ming and Brady, and during those moments I felt connected to the characters. However, most of the book lacked a connection for me.
This book was a fast and easy read. I didn't love it, but I also didn't hate it.
Four point Five Great Stars! Ming has been in a causal sex relationship with Brady for seven months now. Ming is having strong feelings for Brady and wants something more serious for their relationship. Brady likes their relationship the way it is because he feels he needs a woman who is more dependent on him. Ming decides to break it off with Brady before she has more feelings for him. Will Brady realize his that his feelings for Ming run deep before it is to late? This was another great book by Ms. Lopez! I enjoyed the story and the chemistry between Ming and Brady. I have other books in the Time for Love Series and they can be read as a stand-alone novel. I recommend it!
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book was read and reviewed by Annamaria for Alpha Book Club.
Brady finally gets his story and I couldn't have picked a better woman for him. We met Ming in the preceding book in this beloved series and she immediately became a favorite of mine. I was honored to be able to beta read this novel. I am such a huge fan of the entire Time for Love series--these characters seem more like friends than people on a page--and reading this one was exciting but also sad since fans have to say goodbye. What a proper and sexy send-off to this NA series! Thank you, Bethany Lopez, for sharing your characters with us. I have laughed out loud, swooned, cried and always rooted for these characters to find their happily ever afters.
*** Disclaimer: I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. However, this doesn’t affect my opinion of this book and the words in this review. ***
I’d rather have Brady in my bed, in secret, than not have him at all.
As 7 Months wasn’t my first Bethany Lopez novel, Always Room for Cupcakes was, I had a couple of expectations. I liked my first novel from Bethany a lot and I hoped 7 Months wouldn’t disappoint. Now, I can happily say that I like 7 Months even better. The story did more for me and I thought the writing was easier and more pleasant to read. Still, it had the same nice feeling as Always Room for Cupcakes. It was everything I hoped for.
Even though 7 Months is part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone. That’s why I did and now I can’t wait to read the other novels as well. 7 Months is such a great conclusion to the series, I really want to know the stories of all the other couples I’ve got to know in this novel.
Tall, rugged, and handsome in a dark, mysterious sort of way, he was the kind of man I’d always fantasized about, but never thought I could ever have.
Ambitious and sometimes sarcastic lawyer Ming and stubborn cop Brady have been sleeping together casually for seven months now. Feelings from both of them have been complicating things for weeks. Ming has been in love with Brady since the first moment she saw him, but she also knows she could never admit this to him. If she does, he will walk away. Little does she know that he already knows how she feels about him because of the looks she gives him. The love is all over her face.
And all those confusing feelings Brady is feeling himself, are frustrating him. He doesn’t want to stop this thing between them, but he’s also scared for more with Ming. He doesn’t know what he is feeling and he fears he could never be enough for her. Now they both have to make an important choice. Is Brady ready to pursue a serious relationship with Ming? Can Ming keep feeling like Brady’s stepping stone to someone better or does she choose to find someone else who is already willing to start a real relationship with her?
“But that’s what love is, right? Taking a chance on something that might not work? Giving in to the hope and taking a leap of faith.”
Brady used to work together with his older brother Brock, until he decided to follow his dream to be a cop. Which fits him, because he likes to feel helpful and he wants to protect others. He also wants to be the best damned cop he could be, because he felt like he had to disappoint Brock, leaving him to start a whole other career. I thought it was really cute how Brady didn’t know how to handle opening up to the people in his life or how to handle his feelings for Ming. Brady isn’t much of a talker and because of Ming he’s finally learning how to open up and that was an amazing thing to read about. He could also be so stubborn sometimes, but can’t all men be like that?
Ming has been in love with Brady all those seven months they were casually having sex, but she would rather die than admit those feelings to him, afraid to push him away. To protect their “relationship” she pretends to be okay with their arrangement. The only thing she really wants is Brady looking at her like she’s the love of his life. Until now, everything in her life didn’t have anything to do with her own choices, but her choices her parents made for her since she was little. For once, this needs to be about following a path she actually wants to follow when she makes the decision to keep “playing” with Brady or end it.
“I know life is fragile, and I hate the idea of losing anyone that I love, but I can tell you that I’m happy I have them in my life. I’m happy you’re in my life, and I wouldn’t trade our time together for anything.”
Seriously, 7 Months was just so easy to read, I literally flew through the pages. I couldn’t help but fall in love with all the characters: Ming and Brady and all the supporting characters. I liked their connection to each other. I especially loved the way the three brothers interacted. It was pretty cute to read about and felt intimate. Bethany really knows how to create characters who mean so much to each other.
I liked them all so much that I felt like I really knew them, like they were my friends and I could just jump into the story anytime to talk to them. I didn’t only feel like I could, I also really wanted to. Just to hang out. Reading about them felt so comfortable. I liked reading 7 Months even more than Always Room for Cupcakes. The ending was absolute perfection. Without having read the other books in the series, I’m still pretty sure that the ending of 7 Months was the perfect end to all the couple’s stories.
The only thing I didn’t love though, were the little pieces full of suspense in-between. I thought they didn’t really add something to the story and they almost felt out of place. Okay, maybe the last suspenseful scene was important for both Brady and Ming, I don’t know for sure though. I knew something bad was going to happen and when it actually did happen, I didn’t really care for it so much.
It was at the same time overwhelming and wonderful, and I wasn’t sure what to do with these feelings, but I knew I wanted them… More than anything, I wanted them.
7 Months shows Brady who needs to learn how to open up his heart to other people than his immediate family, leaving his comfort zone. And we get to know Ming who needs to put all of her trust in Brady, trusting him to pull it off in the hope of a chance at a real relationship. Who also needs to be brave enough to make her own choices, instead of following the path her parents paved for her. So, trust, opening up, making your own choices and finding true love is what 7 Months is all about and family and friendships also play an important role. 7 Months is cute, sexy and left me feeling warm and comfortable.
“I love you.”
Yup, that was the sound of my heart hitting the floor.
“What?” I whispered, my eyes already filling with tears.
“I realized that I love you, and I had come to tell you. I didn’t want to wait until tonight, and I didn’t want to say it over the phone. I had to see you.”
I had the opportunity to listen to the audiobook of 7 Months by Bethany Lopez, the 7th book in the Time for Love series. All the stories can be read as standalones, as they are each about different interconnected couples. I have jumped around the series myself and have enjoyed each one I have read and/or listened too. Manda Lee, the narrator did an amazing job brining this story to life.
Ming has wanted Brady O’Malley for a long time. When she has the opportunity to have him, she jumps at it, even if he only wants a casual, no strings affair. Brady has never been into relationships and makes no promises. He is drawn to Ming but wants to keep things light between them. But after seven months, Ming wants more. When Brady tells her he does not, but does not want to give her up, she decides to walk away.
What I loved about this book was the opportunity to see Brady and Ming coming to realize what they share and the decisions they make about their future. Their journey was not an easy one, but they never gave up on themselves or each other. Brady grew throughout the story. He was quiet and withdrawn but loved his family fiercely. Ming was strong, independent and determined. They were opposites that complemented each other in every way. 7 Months by Bethany Lopez was a delightful quick read/listen to get lost in.
Ming and Brady have been having relations while not in a relationship for 7 months...but Ming wants more. When she puts forth an invitation and it is rejected she decides that she has to move on. Brady is very closed off, even more so than he realizes. When events for him to open his eyes and heart it changes his life. But the life of a cop is full of peril...
I loved that Ming was a strong woman and loved seeing her interact with her parents. I would have loved a scene with her Dad and Brady meeting. I'd also love to see a book with Doobie! Brady was a very refreshing male lead, he had no OW drama and was an all round nice guy. LOVED seeing him with his brothers.
The final O’Malley finally got his story. Brady and among story was so good. So much love, laughs and so much more. It was great to see the old gang here and there. But even better to see Brady open up and finally found his perfect match.
7 Months by Bethany Lopez is the seventh book in the Time For Love series, but can be read as a standalone as I did. Having finished the book, I recommend reading the others in the series first to get the full experience and understand the other relationships. Even with that said, I thought that this was a great story. It had everything that I always look for in the books that I read- steamy sex scenes (Score! - pun intended), great banter, minimal angst, and a happily ever after.
This story follows the last O’Malley brother Brady, a newly minted police officer, and his secret relationship with Ming, a lawyer who is his sister in laws best friend. Brady, having been slightly emotionally scarred with his parent’s death as a teen, shy’s away from relationships and anything more than a good time. Something attracts him to Ming and they begin a friends with benefits, no strings attached, sex only (it’s hot!) affair. They have this unexplainable raw sexual chemistry that makes him keep coming back. The downfall being that Ming falls for him. Hard.
“Being in a non-relationship with a man I loved who only wanted me for sex may be a bad thing, but being bad had never felt so damn good.”
After seven months (Get it? 7 months) of late night booty calls, Ming decides that she deserves more and ends the no strings relationship. This opens Brady’s eyes to what he really wants and he pulls his head out of his ass. He steps out of his comfort zone to woo Ming back to him and take an honest stab at a real relationship- His first ever. Brady realizes that Ming is it for him and won’t ever give her up. When Ming is threatened, he will move heaven and earth to make sure that they will always be together.
“How close I came to losing you, the seven months I wasted, not knowing what I had that entire time, and it hit me. I love you. I left my desk and walked out, not saying a word to anyone. I just knew I had to see you, to tell you in person.”
I really liked both Brady and Ming. Brady was honest from the get go and it was Ming who broke the rules. Once he got passed his hang ups, he becomes the book boyfriend of all book boyfriends. Even with Ming changing the rules, I really liked her as well. She was a strong woman who went with the no strings sex until she just couldn’t anymore. She felt that she deserved more and understood that it was her who had changed the game, not Brady. It didn’t hurt any less, but she didn’t blame him. Brady needed her to walk away for him to realize what she meant to him. I hurt for them equally as they went through their emotional hang ups.
The secondary characters added so much to the story. It made me want to go back and start the first books in the series while I was reading just to I could catch up (I will someday!). They were all so close, I could feel the affection and love for each other while I was reading. Everyone had something to contribute to the friendships and were there for one another. It was the best kind of friendships, and the kind that you don’t see as often as you should. Hell, I wanted to be friends with them.
If you haven’t read 7 Months yet, you need to get on that. Stat. Maybe even get the whole series. Tt will be worth it.
Loved this book! It was very bittersweet for me. I was absolutely thrilled to finally read Brady’s story. He's so quiet, brooding, mysterious…and way sexy. And at the same time, I’m sad – because this is the last book in one of my favorite series.
Brady’s main job is being a police officer. He also plays the drums on the side in a band with his (equally sexy) brothers. Doesn’t get much hotter than that. He keeps to himself, keeping up those walls around his heart. He may come off as standoffish or a guy with zero emotion... But he’s just misunderstood… and keeps his heart a little bit guarded. Is he quiet & reserved? Definitely. Does he express his emotions & feelings very well? Nope. He feels the need to protect – everyone. He needs the perfect person to break down those walls. He needs to let someone in and take care of HIM for a change.
Ming is strong-minded, highly intelligent, and knows what she wants. For the last 7 months, she’s been taking what she wants…but now she wants more. She puts her foot down, waiting to see if what (and who) she wants will come to her.
As usual, Bethany’s storytelling is fabulous. We get a great story with the perfect blend of laughs, drama, and steaminess. This book is #7 in the Time For Love series. You don’t have to read the others before this, but I really think you should – because they’re awesome & fun with characters that feel REAL. And if you read the others first, it will make reading 7 Months much more enjoyable.
4-4.5 stars! Ahhh (insert sigh) I love these brothers! Somehow after reading every book in this series I missed 3 Seconds which really disappointed me. As soon as I finished this book I bought it and read that one too. These are standalone's but I do like to read in order. This series has not let me down even though I didn't get the order right.
Brady (H) is kind of an introvert his only interest is his family and job. He has been having a fling with Ming (h) his sister-in-law’s best friend. They have been having casual sex now for seven months. He feels she’s too independent and strong for him. He likes being the “hero” and taking care of people. He is a police officer and used to the role.
Ming (h) is older, beautiful, strong and smart. She is an attorney and works very hard. She’s in a position to become partner and doesn’t need distraction. The problem is, is that she’s falling for Brady but she thinks he has eyes for someone else. She also wants to get him to come out of his shell a bit and talk about himself and his feelings.
What will happen when Ming wants to take their casual affair to the next level?
I am so in love with the relationship these brothers have. I could read about them all day. I also love the friendships that have formed throughout this series. Bethany always throws glimpses of everyone and I love that.
This book is a quick sexy read. I’m still hoping to get a book about Carson!
Tough, and intelligent, Ming has worked her whole life to become a good daughter, and successful attorney. Her whole focus has been on her career, but at 35, she's the last single girl of all her friends. She's been in love with Brady, but all he's willing to give is "friends with benefits." Brady has finally followed his dream to become a cop, after working with his brother in the family business. He's a man who loves to protect, and he does a great job protecting himself from getting to close to people outside of his family, to protect his heart. For 7 months, Ming has accepted the little bit he's offered her, but she finally decided she deserves better. Will Brady take a chance with his heart before it's too late, and Ming is gone for good?!
WOW! I really came late to the party of this amazing series. The character development is good, with an amazing cast of secondaries. A sexy, addicting, and well written storyline flows smoothly. Bethany Lopez's easy writing style had me captivated from the very beginning, and I couldn't put this book down for anything until I finished. Well place humor had me laughing hard, and the sexy scene goodness is SMOKIN' HOT! A great OMG moment came out of left field, but I felt like the ending was a bit rushed. All in all, a great story by a talented author that I cannot wait to read more of!
I have been waiting patiently for this one to come out. I have loved all the books in the Time For Love series (though I missed out reading 21 hours)
7 months follows Brady and Ming. We meet them in the previous books and for the last 7 months they have been in a friends with benefits relationship. Which has suited them both, that is until Ming realises that she is in love with him and wants more. Only problem is Brock isn't the whole 9 yards relationship kinda guy, which he tells her, so she lets him go only he doesn't want that either. In fact he doesn't know what he wants and that scares him.
He realises that he wants more with Ming and must come out of his comfort zone in order to have her.
There is a lot going on in this book and there are a few gasp moments! This is a great story for Brady and Ming and epilogue was just the perfect.
I am not ready to say goodbye all the characters we have met in this series, though I think this is the last book - I have loved every single book and cant wait to see what Ms Lopez comes up with next!!
This was such a good story to read about Brady and Ming because it wasn't a love story that was easy. In real life it is not all sunshine all the time and easy. I think this story proves it. Sometimes people have their past they have to deal with so they can be a better person for you in the long run.
This started off as a fling that of course one person seems to have more feelings than the other. This is why it is so hard sometimes for people to say they don't want to be serious. Although you can't be in a relationship if only one person wants it.
You sometime have to let things go to see if it is meant to be yours. It if is, then it will find their way back to you. If not, then it was never yours to begin with. Sometimes this can be an eye opener. Just when you think things will change something seems to happen. It's life. stuff happens. Sometimes for the better.
I think it is great that they can be there for each the best way they can. Sometimes family is great, but having your other half whether it's a friend or significant other can help more than family.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.W When you are in love with your best friends brother in law and you decide to be friends with benefits it starts to get old. After seven months Ming decides it's time to move on from Brady, however this move may change things. Brady never opens up he thinks his life is fine until Ming decides that is it. Now with issues at his job and no one to really open up to he realizes what he just might need. Can things stay like this or can they move on in a different direction.
Loved the last book in the series! I have waiting for Brady's book! Brooding Brady has found his match in Ming but doesn't realize it until she ends it their non-relationship with him.
There is plenty of drama, laughs and hot scenes to keep your interest!
Throughout the earlier books in this series you don't get a good read on Brady. He worked for his brother, lost his parents as a teen, plays drums in his brothers band and that's him in a nutshell. Now that he is older he wants to give up the painting job and become a cop. For Brady he is used to keeping everything inside. He doesn't put himself out there or let anyone in. When he does finally extends the hand of friendship to Doobie its a little emotional. He graduated and then him and Ming started a secret hook up. From Brady's POV that's all they are but for Ming she is in love with him. 7 months later and she breaks it off because he can't and won't give her more. Brady doesn't realize how much he wants Ming until they are no longer together. Now he is doing what he can to see if they can have a relationship. While he tries to help a friend her drama makes for trouble for them. Will they get there in time?
This is a wonderful story filled with great characters. The story had a nice flow. It is filled with heartache, caring and wonderment. The characters are the main interest. Brady is has a great job, a hot extra curricular activity and a set of brothers and their wives who are to die for. He is the unknown here. Ming is successful and decides she deserves more than being a deep dark secret. I admire her for finally realizing what/who she really wanted. She happens to have a great bunch of friends and most coincide with Brady’s family or his friends.
Over all this is a good listen. The narrator for a good job being each character forth. I enjoyed it and look for more of this series.
7 Months (Time for Love #7) was another great read by Bethany Lopez. ing has worked hard to be a successful lawyer, great friend, and great daughter. She's always focused on her career and didn't have time for a relationship. But now she's thirty-five years old and knows what she wants in a man. Brady followed his dreams and became a police officer. Ming and Brady have spent the last seven years spending passionate nights together. But now they must admit that they have feelings for each other. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more in this series.
It's been a long while since I first started this series. While I know other stories occurred before, I don't remember them; and it was all good. I wasn't lost or anything.
I really enjoyed the various characters in the story. I think the best thing was that Brandy appeared to coming out of a long sleep. or maybe, like after someone has been through a traumatic event and closes themselves off. He is realizing he hasn't been "present" in his own reality for awhile. It was beautiful to see.
This is 7 months book 7 in the Time For Love Series. I listened to this book in audio. I wasn’t completely excited about the narrator but the overall story was great. The friends and family found in this story are wonderful. Ming and Brady are perfect for each other, and so excited that they finally get that HEA. I really would have loved to see more of Ming’s parents. But Brady’s brothers are amazing and I love their family.
