Ties in to the 8 Weeks and 1 Night book
This novella was actually the follow up to the books mentioned above and it was Simone and Micah 's story. She was the woman in the book 1 Night. She actually turned out to be okay. The hero was trying to make up for laughing at her when she told him th at she had feelings for him. It took her a year to listen. There was no one else for either of them since that weekend. They got locked into the supply room overnight and cleared up all the misunderstandings and some loving in between. I really liked this short story and it gave me some closure on the Cal and Shelley story too. They accidentally met up in Vegas and the truth was revealed!!! 💕 I should probably give all the books an extra star now. Actually I loved these three stories when all is said and done. Not reading the rest of the series I don't think but these were short and kept me engaged.

I can understand why Simone has the look and actions of “don’t mess with me.” She has been on her own since she was a teenager. Big Mike gave her a chance as a dancer and she has worked her way to Manager. I liked that she had a no mess around policy with her co-workers or customers. She caved one night with Mica who is one of the bartenders. I can understand why Mica didn’t think she would take him seriously especially since she never would give anyone who worked with her the time of day. Unfortunately she is hurt when he laughs at her that she is having feelings for him. With all that has happened to her she just froze her heart. I felt bad she would never give Mica a chance to explain. This is a good short story that I encourage you to read. I bought the anthology that this book is a part of and voluntarily wrote a review.

Night & Day by Bethany Lopez is a Time for Love Series Novella. This book is one section of the Blackout Romance Anthology that features numerous short stories by many romance authors. This was a quick, fun and very sexy read.
I have read many books in my reading career however this was the first book that had two Epilogue’s. I thought that was very unique and different.
When thinking of names for the book characters I love it when the authors think outside of the box. Bethany choose names like Micah, Ginger and Simone.
Bethany really put her all into her characters Simone and Micah and you could tell through her writing. There was no denying it that these two had major chemistry!

Night & Day by Bethany Lopez
This was a second chance love novella. It had intense chemistry and some steamy scenes. I loved the Interaction between Simone and Micah. It was a huge misunderstanding between them. However after waiting nearly a year for him to be able to explain, Micah finally has his chance. Depending on wether she's ready or not, Simone is in for one heck of a night.

We met Simon and Micah in 1 Night, but this can be read as a standalone, however, for fans of Time For Love series, this is a must-read. Not only does Simone get her happily ever after, Cal and Shelly get their final answer. I loved that extra epilogue and so happy it was included!

She's a badass and I get why she's that way. When your pretty much on your own from an early age you have and armor around your heart,

Misunderstanding, darkness, emotions, all of these can trigger a fight or flight response. In this story we find a strong-willed female lead who once let the walls down only to be hurt. The man in question has his reasons but can he get the her to stand still long enough to hear him out? Micah’s methods may not be the best, but he is determined to talk to Simone and get her to understand. This is a sexy book that will demand things from the characters that they may not be able to do. You will love seeing what happens in the pages of this one!

I received a free ARC of this story and am voluntarily writing my honest review.
I love Simone and am so glad she got her own novella! A survivor of life, she rarely opens herself up to anyone. Simone and Micah have history but a misunderstanding may keep them apart. But when the lights go out and they are alone, they are forced to confront the past. THe chemistry between these two characters is off the charts. This book has the perfect amount of steam, romance, and vulnerability.

Night & Day is a fast paced pageturner that had me on the edge of my seat. The story is a perfect fit for the anthology. I greatly enjoyed this excellent written, second chance story and give 5 stars.

This was a sweet addition to the Time for Love Series. This time it entails Simone and Micah. Two people who had one intense night together; however, thanks to that night and words being said it ended up ruining the weekend. To top it off they work together so the memories from that explosive night is unforgettable in both good and bad ways.
Micah did not expect that night to turn out the way it did and since then he is constantly hoping for another chance with Simone. With her guard up she has committed to a no customer/no co-worker policy.
Time is ticking and Micah is wanting a change in scenery. He is determine to make his move for Simone again and hoping that the outcome would be in his favor otherwise he has no choice but to move on. An unexpected incident occurs and then lights are out.
This was a quick read that had me hoping. To top it off the ending reveal made the series come full circle.

I was excited when I heard we were getting a novella that featured Simone. She unintentionally caused issues for one of my favorite couples - Cal and Shelly from 8 Weeks, but we got the other side of that story in 1 Night. Simone lets no one in. She has learned to be a survivor. One weekend changed all of that when she decided to open her heart to love only to be laughed at. Can she take the chance of opening her heart again? loved this quick read and my heart soared with the bonus epilogue.

Simone is one tough lady with just the right amount of softness. After what she's been through, that's understandable. When she does open herself up to have fun, the end result is not what she expected. But life goes on. She gets up, goes to work, gives the job her all, and repeat. Over time she wonders, is there more to life? What does she want? She thought her future would involve a certain man and that plan changed. Or did it?
Micah works at the same establishment as Simone. He messed up with her royally and learned Simone is definitely not the second chances type. He can't stop the way he feels for her. When will he get his chance to make amends?
Night & Day is a quick, oh so yummy read. A misunderstanding can have lasting ramifications and this story exemplifies that. We can make dumb mistakes and then have to live with them, no matter what. Sometimes all we need is chance to step in and help.
I loved Simone in all of her wonderful tough, untouchable exterior. She knows how to retain her professionalism through any kind of situation and remain a classy lady while doing so. Micah is a lovable hero with redeeming qualities. I couldn't help but rush through the pages of their intoxicating tale to see what happens to these two souls.
Let's just say that redemption can be sizzling, sexy, and cause the reader to continuously smile while reading. I loved it!

Funny and sexy story! What happens when a former stripper and a bartender are trapped in the liquor storage? Sounds like the start of a bad joke right, but trust me - this is a good one! At least a good story, not really a joke ;)

Simone is a manager at a strip club. She used to dance, but it got old. Micah is the head bartender, but dreams of opening his own place. A year ago, they spent a weekend together, and when Simone showed some vulnerability, Micah laughed and really hurt her. She’s been mad ever since. Micah reacted without thinking, and he knows he hurt Simone, but he can’t get her to talk with him about it to clear the air.
They have amazing chemistry and they really are good for each other; they just have to figure out how to get past the hurt. This is a quick read that follows the novella 1 Night. Loved the ending!

Looking for something short and sexy to read? You'll want to read Simone and Micah's story. I love Simone's personality. She didn't have an easy life growing up, so she ran, grew up and built a wall around her heart. One weekend could change it all with Micah. But when Micah doesn't take Simone serious, he may have blown his chances with her. You could feel the emotions coming off these characters.

After reading 1 Night and 8 Weeks, I wanted to know more about Simone and Micah. I loveddddd it so much!! I wanted Cal and Shelly to have the closure and I'm glad the author did not give away anything in the novel 8 Weeks, else it would have become a cliché story.
I'm glad I found this author. She is awesome! The stories have a meaningful plot with a lot of smut (*wink). Got ahead ladies and get a taste yourself!!

This is an excellent look at Simone and Micah's relationship. They have explosive chemistry! They are both guarding their hearts but with being locked in a cellar during a blackout get them to finally get past a misunderstanding? Must read!!

Simone is strong and knows what she wants. She doesn't give second chances. So after a crazy hot weekend with Micah and how he reacted at the end of it, she's not down to let him make amends. It only takes a power outage and a night in a storage closet to turn all that around.
I've loved all of the books in the Time for Love series but throughout the series, I didn't have much love for the chick from Vegas until I read 1 Night. Then I needed her story. This novella was such an awesome addition to this series and I LOVED the epilogue. It put the perfect bow on this series!!

I loved this short and sexy novella in the Time For Love series. I could not wait for this story!
Ms. Lopez gives us Simone and Micah...they work together and their chemistry is smokin’ hot. They shared a delicious little weekend in the past and Micah wants her back. But after a misunderstanding, her guard is up, and she’s not letting anyone in.
Until the lights go out.
The author did a great job at making me feel everything. The sparks between these two can’t be denied. I loved Simone’s take-no-crap attitude and I admired Micah’s determination.
And the ending...finally...someone gets the closure they need from a situation that happened in one of the other books in this series.
