Short but Steamy and Sweet!
I thought this was a nice break after the book I finished early today that was nearly six hundred pages. This one was less than seventy and though I don’t often read books that are that short, I bought this series quite a while ago. I actually quite liked this book. It was nostalgic, sweet yet steamy and though short it was not intsa-Love. These two have been secretly in love with each other since they were about fifteen or sixteen.
You would think with the name Bootyogamy that it would be a bit trashy but it wasn’t. It was actually quite a fun little novella. Kendall was the little sister of Max’s best friend so has always been off limits, though she was only a year or so younger and Max has been attracted to her since high school, he didn’t feel that he was right for her anyway since he had abandonment issues and commitment issues.
Max had a mother who was a drug addict who died when he was in high school. He even lived with Kendall’s family for his senior year. They both dreamed of each other and neither knew about it. On the night Kendall and her friends open a roller rink in town, Max comes to the opening night and they talk and agree to have a friends with benefits type of relationship or a bootyogamy.
Nothing really goes the way they expect. But the story is hot, exciting and very ‘80’s nostalgic. I loved it. I did my best to find a perfect gif for this one and couldn’t find one that matched their outfits, but the one I found is exactly like I remember roller rinks being like when I used to go. Especially the Pom-Poms on the women’s roller skates. The bigger the better, as they say! Love them!

As with all of the books written by this duo it was short, sweet and sexy.
Kendall finally has what she and her best friends have dreamed of for years, a retro roller rink so outcome the leg warmers, short shorts and cheesy 80’s music. The only thing that would make everything complete would be finally having the man she has always wanted Max, but him being her brothers best friend and a dedicated cop she knows he sees her as off limits but tonight is the night she is going to tell him she wants more. Will she get what she wants or will she be leaving with a broken heart?
Max has wanted his best friends younger sister for longer than he should but has held himself back knowing that he could lose his best friend and lose his heart. But when Kendall makes her move he can’t resist and proposes they become friends with benefits. But when things become intense he knows that a booty call with Kendall will ever be enough. Can he show her that what they have shared was so much more than she knows and will her brothers ad his friendship survive?
Fabulous start to the series and as always these ladies deliver a heartfelt love with steam. Safe read and can’t wait to get stuck in with the rest of the series.

No conocía a estas autoras y mejor me habría ido sin conocerlas. Las cuatro historias de esta colección no pueden ser más tontas, todas están cortadas por el mismo patrón y acaban igual, con embarazo y boda. Antes de eso, la nada más absoluta. Que un libro sea corto no justifica que todo valga, porque no lo hace y en este caso, mucho menos.

If you’re looking for a quick, steamy read then this is the book for you. Read in less than an hour on my kindle, I was pretty surprised by the short length of the book. I knew it was a novella but didn’t expect it to finish so quickly just when I was getting attached to the characters. I really wouldn’t have minded a full length novel containing these characters.

Ahh what an adorably sweet read this was
A forbidden romance, a brothers best friend romance two of my favourite kinds to read.
They’ve been friends since they were kids, they’ve both been harbouring crushes since they knew what this stuff meant. He’s got feelings, she’s got feelings but none are willing to say it out loud over the fear of rejection, instead they tiptoe around their feelings with bootycalls but in the end feelings always come out, right?
Watching these two has been interesting, their chemistry is super hot and I absolutely loved to read about them.
The will he, won’t he...will she, won’t she back and forth was interesting and all I kept shouting in my head is TELL HER...TELL HIM haha.
It was cute, it was sexy, it was a fun and quick read. Now I need more.

I had to get this book since I was gifted with other books in the series. Frankie Love and C.M. Seabrook write quick steamy books that you can get through in less than an hour. I read this one before bed last night.
When Max lost his family, he moved in with Kendall and her brother Grady who is Max's best friend. Kendall and Max have pined for each other since that time, but never did anything because of Grady. But now is their chance. They are both adults and are doing exactly what they want to be doing.

It's the first book on their new series booty call that said, it was all I was waiting for. I was not disappointed, love the subject in general. Roller skating was a very interesting aspect, I liked that there was reference to the 80's. Kendall is the younger sister of Max's best friend, so he knows that Grady would kill him if there was something between them. Everything starts with a exclusive bootycall, but it will work an stay like that or will feelings get involve? The story haves opposite poles, a fiery policeman, retro, fun, funny, risqué. Now just have to wait for the other books in this series.

3.7 I don’t know what exact part pushed me off to the story but I felt it in waves. The beginning started out strong and had a lighthearted comedy-romance blend then I felt my mind wandering off and I couldn’t bring my focus back fully. There was a point that did grab me and I was getting into it again but after that scene we moved on and didn’t mention it again. Overall for a quick read during a break it was alright. I’ve read other reviews and readers loved this story which is wonderful, everyone see’s the characters in different lights. I would still recommend the book for others.

But they've also loved each other forever, even if they've never admitted it to each other. Max doesn't think it's a good idea to get involved with Kendall, but she's not giving up. She proposes that they be each other's monogamous booty call. He agrees, but things don't always go as planned.
Commentary: Can I just be stupid for a minute and say that it took me forever to figure out what the title meant - I could not figure out what that word was! It took more than halfway through the book before a character said "monogamy" and I finally got it.
Anyways, I liked this story - it was cute and their HEA was something that all the other characters but them saw coming.

This is a fairly quick short story that you could probably knock out in around an hour. We meet Kendall who has been in love and lust with her brothers best friend Max the hot copy for years but he always treats her like a little sister but lately she is noticing that he has been checking her out so she is about to entice him into bootyogomy. Max has been noticing Kendall forever but he is not the type to fall in love but he can no longer resist her..

Low angst very fast read
I read through kindle unlimited. I thought I'd give it a try since it's an 80s theme. Wasn't much really 80s about it besides her job.

Frankie Love and Chantel (C.M.) Seabrook (either together or on their own) are reliable go-to authors for me for fast, fun, and slightly fluffy romance reads. A new series from the pair is definitely something to be excited about. Well-paced (though short), and well-written story with likeable characters. Steamy short story, but with a sweet core to the relationship - Max and Kendall do have history together, beyond the hook-ups.
The series as a whole centers on four friends who have opened a retro-themed roller skating rink, and the relationships they find. Each pair starts/changes/moves forward in their relationship via some variation on a booty call. But of course sex always leads to something more, which leads to HEA and marriage and a baby or three (not always in that order).
It did get a little old how quickly the couples were popping out kids - I think two were pregnant at their weddings and one had their 3 month old in attendance. Not that I'm against kids or that some people want them as part of their HEA and the sooner the better. It just seemed so fast for all these couples. Finally getting together, married and with a kid all within a year? Where's the time to actually enjoy being a couple before adding Baby Makes 3? Personal preference, I know, but that sort of pacing just never seems as romantic to me.
In this particular story, we have Kendall (h), a DJ and co-owner of the roller rink, suggesting a booty call arrangement to her long time crush: her brother's best friend, police officer Max (H). Little does she know that Max has also had a crush on her for ages too. But who will make the first step from booty-call-monogomy (the titular Bootyogamy) to an actual relationship?
I liked it, but wasn't crazy about it. Kendall was a little irritating, and Max was a touch too self-sabotagingly closed off, but they balanced each other out. Wasn't a bad read, just wasn't my favorite in the series.
Alternating 1st person POV from the leads. No OW/OM drama, cheating, or love triangle nonsense, just two people taking a chance on something more. Fast, fluffy, enjoyable escapism. No cliffhangers and an HEA for our leads.
Would I read more from these authors? Heck, yeah. These are literary potato chips or M&Ms, after all - light, tasty but little substance, and can't stop with just one.

I buddy read this with a friend because this title was just too good to pass up 😂
Was it the worst book I've read? No. Was it even the worst Romance I've read? No. But this isn't great. It was really short, but even then, I don't know that I would subject myself to this again.
The story alternates between the viewpoints of Max, a stern police officer, and Kendall, his childhood friend who now owns a roller rink. They've each been in love with each other since Middle School, but never said anything. They end up creating a pact to be in a monogamous booty call with the other, but they have to bail if either one catches feelings (despite them both having feelings for the other before this relationship started).
The previous relationship aspect gets a little weird, especially from Max's end. He lived with Kendall's family for a year and admits to positioning himself in the hallway after she showered to sneak peeks at her body as a teenager, among other kind of creepy confessions beginning in Middle School. She also admits to having feelings that long ago, but it's not brought up as often in a sexual manner.
Max also gets into a habit of calling Kendall "little one" during sex and it's such an uncomfortable nickname. I hated it. My friend hated it. And the nickname gets SO MUCH WORSE after the ending of the book. There's a throwaway line at the end that makes the nickname no longer acceptable and it just needed to go.
Also, he shows up to a booty call in a suit at one point. So that was amusing.
So again, I didn't hate this because some of it was funny enough in a "so bad it's amusing" way that I was entertained. But this is by no means great literature that I would go around recommending.

So again, I didn't hate this because some of it was funny enough in a "so bad it's amusing" way that I was entertained. But this is by no means great literature that I would go around recommending.

Unbeknownst to the other, Max and Kendall have long had more than friendly feelings for each other. But neither has made a move because she's off limits, what with being his best friend's little sister. Yep, one of my favorite tropes!
But Kendall's finally worked up her courage to tell Max, and he just can't resist. But the plan they come up with is a friends with benefits kind of thing. Not sure why it had to be that way, but it worked. Until it didn't. Until they wanted more. Now the question is, will Kendall's brother approve? Read and find out!
This is a pretty great brother's best friend romance. I love Max and Kendall together - they're so cute, and did I forget the hot part? Plus you've got Kendall and her best friend's new 80s themed skate rink. I mean come on...that was the best decade ever, so for Kendall to be so into it makes her even more awesome! And Max is a freakin hot cop. So there ya go - it's hot, it's sweet and it's witty and fun.

Bootyogomy is a silly title with a seriously sexy story that brings two friends together despite the "taboo" of the best friends' little sister throwing a wrench in their romance. The overall story was pretty cute with a forever crush on both parts finally finding resolution with one another. While Max and Kendall worked together and were opposites in many ways, I'll admit that the language and descriptions of their more sensual moments felt a bit over the top, a little too cringey, quite juvenile. It read as young as the characters were and served as a reminder that more crass language seems to be more popular among that age group. While I'm absolutely no prude, I just think it was a bit much. The sweetness, however, made a valiant effort to balance the more erotic aspects of the story and I loved how genuine their connection felt. There were a few too many things unsaid until the last moments, but the end of the book was pretty much perfect. It continued their story to a satisfying point and completely fit their characters.

Bootyogomy is a cute, sexy, and funny read. I would definitely recommend getting Bootyogomy by C.M. Seabrook and Frankie Love.

I picked up this series since I was looking for something light and fluffy to read, and this did not disappoint. This author duo for this series is the perfect combo for a perfect selling romance novel. We see steamy sexy scenes and along with sweet love story brewing between the main leads of these short novella's. All the books are around 60 pages and I recommend you to read one at a time when you are feeling low and looking for some fluffy read. I read all at once and by the time I finished the second book, I knew third and the foruth books are going to sounding repetitive to me. Since the premise of all the books remains the same, we see accidental falling in love and a happy ending in all the books. But in spite of predictive ending, the journey of each short story is what makes these books beautiful and heart warming to read. I highly recommend you to pick this up if you are looking for something similar. Also, do follow the sequence since all the books are somewhere inter-connected.

This was so much fun! Max and Kendall have known each other since they were kids. Max had a rough childhood and Kendall and her brother were a surrogate family for him.
These two aren’t kids anymore. Max is a straight line kind of cop who plays by the rules. Kendall is a fun and spicy retro style girl. She’s been a DJ and her and her friends have just reopened a roller skating ring.
As Max says, she’s his rainbow sprinkles on his vanilla ice cream.
They start off as a no strings booty call but Max falls hard and fast. I’d say Kendall does too but truth is she was already there. I loved that Max didn’t hold back. He was ready to claim his woman forever no matter the fall out with his best friend/her brother.
Max maybe a rules guy but he’s a sexy dirty talker in the bedroom which makes their chemistry even steamier.
“I’m not sure what it is, but I know there’s no way I’m letting her go.”

This is one book that will have you remembering what it was like to go out to a roller rink on a Friday night to hear those 80’s tunes and just let loose while conjuring up images of the movie Xanadu. This is the first book in the Booty Call Series and it is just one freewheeling, fun time for all. Kendall and her three friends decide to open the local roller-skating rink and have invited friends and others to a soft opening. Max is best friends with Kendall’s brother but he has had his eyes on her for a long time. Whenever Kendall was in a jam, Max was the one who helped her out. When it is obvious that they cannot stem their growing attraction, will they decide to just go for it with bootyogomy or will it be another deal entirely? This is one well written, quick, hot and steamy read. I cannot wait to read the next one.

What does she do? She tempts him with an offer of lust and no-strings attached.
I loved this so much! It's sassy, cute, very arousing, and of course heat turns into a lot more when this couple cannot deny their feelings any longer.
Kendall and Max are opposites in almost everything, and that's something I like. It works to perfection when they're exchanging vows in a very sweet, fun and endearing scene. Lovely storytelling, too.

Amazing read by Frankie Love! This is the first in The Booty Call Series. Kendall and Max were so amazing together. She is fun, flirty and every color of the rainbow. She owns a retro roller rink with her best friends while Max is a cop. Max is strong, reserved and oh yes, her brother's best friend. Max and Kendall have known each other for years with them both being in love with the other. What happens when they agree to booty call pact? And what happens when Kendall's brother Grady finds out? I loved the retro theme in this series- the booty shorts, 80's tunes and roller skates made this a fun read! Cannot wait for the next couple's story!

This was a quick, sweet and sexy story. Max and Kendall have both been in love with each other for over a decade and neither one made a move out of some kind of fear. While I enjoyed the story for the most part I don’t like it when people love each other and sleep with others, kind of defeats the being in love.

Completely safe. No om/ow drama, there is minor general drama. There is a shooting while she is dj’ing at a club, nothing is really described in detail and h gets slightly injured. H only has casual sex and h’s past isn’t mentioned but she isn’t a virgin. No abuse.
