A. Vers is an immortal being masquerading as a writer of dark fantasy. Georgia remains her stomping ground, where she resides with her husband, son, and their menagerie of pets in a backwoods town far from others of her kind.
Vers has an almond addiction, a lust for coffee, and her music of choice will always be heavy metal. Though she has held jobs in nearly every field (being immortal has its perks), writing and reading are her two dearest passions.
With a twisted sense of humor and a love of all things dark and wayward, Vers is known for creating worlds riddled with the kinds of heroes we all want to be, and the monsters that will keep you awake at night.
Loving these books and characters! Vampires, shifters, Far, and demons!!! Great writing. Great storylines. Mysterious characters. Action packed and the steam! Bring on the rest because I’m ready, willing and able.
More like a 2.5 - I enjoyed the story and the concept and will continue with the series. It just had a few issues. This seems to be the authors first book and some of the dialog was choppy, and a bit cheesy. I am hoping that imporves as the series progresses.
I had a hard time visualizing the male lead. You know The Rocks 90s picture, that is the image I picture when she describes how he is dressed for the date.
The concept of this reminds me of the BDB books, but with a multiple paranormal group. Similar to those books, I wasn't a huge fan of the first book, but had to read until I got to the "brother" I connected with.
INTERESTING CONCEPT, ENOUGH TO PULL ME IN AND MAKE ME FINISHED IT. VAMPIRES AND HUMANS FALLING IN LOVE, WHAT'S NEW? THIS STORY IS AS OLD AS TIME ITSELF.
RUIN, is the Captain vampire assigned to catch the bad guys dealing deadly drugs that have been killing both supernaturals and humans alike. Where humans have cops, well the vamps have their own authority squad who will take care of the 'other' kind. Ruin's definitely got the whole alpha male stamp all over him, and it's nice to watch him squirm over his own attraction to Lilah. Other than that, I won't say this story held my attention in other facets, the plot was so-so and the characters too, though I'd say the chemistry was enough to keep me long enough to finish it. Though, I'll likely read one particular character's story after this one.
LILAH is a curvy beauty with eyes like the arctic ocean. After her parents death, she's been 'adopted' by an uncle who basically used her and abused her. Fighting for her own freedom, Lilah works hard to secure her own future, until the night she meets Ruin where everything is shot to hell. Now, he thinks she's in cohort with her scheming uncle, and she's got no place to call home. Ruin brings her back to their supernatural base where Lilah gets cosy with everyone there, even the vampire King and Queen.
OVERALL this was okay, I mean it's nothing intense so don't keep your expectations high. It was still enjoyable, despite not being something I'd pick up without even having to think about. Will I read this author's book again? Most likely, depending on what the plot is about.
Lilah was forced to work at her guardians club around supernaturals. She couldn’t stand vampires and she hated her job and her “uncle”. Ruin was part of a supernatural enforcer group that made sure the supernatural community stayed under control. The night he met Lilah he couldn’t shake his feelings but he knew that a human and a vampire couldn’t work. He was determined to protect her. Then it became so much more. Exciting and interesting story as these two discover their feelings and Lilah sees that all supernaturals aren’t bad through the help of her stay at the sanctuary.
Marked by A. Vers is a wonderful story that I have read. This is book number one in this wonderful start to a brand new series writen by a brand new author for me to read and I can not wait for book number two. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about vampires, dark and paranormal romances.

This book is everything! Action, adventure, fantasy, romance, with a little horror to thicken the plot. From the first paragraph I was hooked. Ruin is the alpha a$#hole we all dream of, with his dark, brooding looks. And Lilith is the perfect mix of sweet and strong to take him on. I cannot wait to started the next book. This series is going to the top of my must reads until the end.

This is my first read by this author, who I came across on Tiktok. This will NOT be my last. This is one of the best paranormal books I've ever read, and with the amount I read that's saying something! This book jumped to my favorites list and this author to my one-click list. If you like anything vampire you will absolutely love this book.
When Ruin meets Lilah, he is investigating a drug that is a danger to humans and supernaturals. He loses the person of interest when he chose to save Lilah instead. She quickly warms his closed off heart and becomes a part of the community. He proves that he is willing to break rules to save her and at a risk to his life and vocation.
Wow, I'm so happy I one-clicked this one! This is the first book I've read from this author and it did not disappoint. This vampire and human story is hot, full of suspense and action.

This has to be the most underexposed Author in the history of ever! Guys this book. Holy crap! Ruin is soooo everything and Lilah oh my she is something. I laughed so hard and then got hit in feels right after. READ THIS BOOK
I started this book on a recommendation and boy what a good one it was! Great story building and characters. Hot steamy scenes and an ending that doesn’t leave on a draw dropping cliffhanger, but enough to make you want to read the next book. So glad I gave this one a go!
I gave this one the ole college try, but I found myself putting it down and not picking it up again for long periods of time. Good premise to the genre, but it wasn't hooking me enough.
This book draws you into a different reality of our world..and holy neck balls is it hot from start to finish...had me hanging on the edge of my seat...wow!
