Mallet The Competition Collection is a collection of 15 elementary intermediate mallet duets, the perfect training ground for the young musician. Compared to playing solos, performing a duet part has the added motivation of listening for balance, precision and concentration, while matching technique with the other mallet player. It is also fun to play a duet. You can use combination of the following bells, xylophone, vibraphone or marimba. If you have only two instruments, the duet will be perfectly successful. You may wish to select your own combination of instruments. If two players are using one instrument, jump an octave when necessary to avoid running together. The duet students will quickly . Precision of both player's mallets landing on the keyboard simultaneously
