Jeeeeezzzzzz!!!! I knew I should’ve just waited to read this🤣Shvonne Latrice is a beast with her writing. My fav couple of course is Belly and Blaise, they are perfect for each other. Hopefully she don’t really do that to herself. I didn’t like Nichole, she was super parched. I know Rafi is up to something and I can’t believe that Priscilla is actually going along with his bs🤦🏾♀️ Will needs help. Alivia DEFINITELY needs to move right on out her parents house, girl you a whole GROWN woman🤦🏾♀️🤣 welp I can’t wait to see what happens next.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I need to get back to the books about the men that love and that would do anything for their woman, including BE FAITHFUL. Like forreal am I supposed to be rooting for these people? I'm not gonna lie. As someone who has read a bunch of shvonne latrice books.... I have asked myself if she hates black women.

Blaise was a good girl that had been dragged though the mud by her child's father, Five Star. Blaise had tried to make a career for herself, and the last thing she expected was to be a single mother, but she did it quiet well. Blaise had goals, ambitions, and she adored her daughter, Island, and she was a great mother.
Nichole was a thot pocket, and she definitely wasn't a true friend to Blaise. I wouldn't even say that she was an associate, or an acquaintance. She did everything she could to throw dirt in Blaise's name, and she didn't even feel bad for bringing the drama, or the blogs to Blaise. Nichole was one of those type of women that was down for whatever, the complete opposite from both Priscilla and Blaise. She didn't have any standards, and would do anything to get what she wanted.
I really liked Priscilla, and she was an amazing friend to Blaise. Priscilla was very laid back, and she went with the flow. However, I felt bad for Priscilla, because Rafi was on some other ish. He would flaunt Yesenia, but when it came to his family, it had to be kept a secret. I can't wait until Rafi get exposed, because he doesn't deserve Priscilla, or what she has to offer. Priscilla also needs to stay away from Will, because he's bad for business.
Belly was indeed a playboy, and everywhere he went, he had women that would throw themselves at his feet. He had a few that he had in rotation: Maia, Cadence, Kharla, and Sienna, and all of these women knew about each other. Each of them thought that Belly loved them, but they were there just to a comply him to events, and they took it more than what it was. Belly was honest, blunt, rude, arrogant, and cocky. He didn't take any woman seriously until he met Blaise, because he knew that she was on a different caliber. Belly and Blaise were deeply in love with each other, but things Belly thought Blaise wasn't going to find out, she did, and she's not having it. Will Blaise give Belly another chance, and forgive him?

So I really enjoyed this book and literally passed out listening to it because I was too caught up to just put it away..lol So starting with Blaise although I’ve never been the type to just say f*** these ninjaz and just start using them I understood it was a method of attempting to survive and protect her heart at the same time.. As far as Belly the way my mouth and attitude set up we would’ve definitely bumped heads.. However I enjoyed seeing him and Blaise together seeing the way he handled her and anything concerning her.. She definitely needed it with the mfs she was surrounded with the only person I liked around her was Priscilla with her naive self.. He definitely needed her love too considering he seemed to lack it despite what he may think.. It’s messed up that he let ish get to him that night leading him to move differently and make a mistake.. He had been doing so good and truly didn’t seem pressed about his newly found decision.. I hope Blaise doesn’t go through with the irrational decision she was making at the end.. I hope Priscilla stop being so naive and I must say I thought oh boy was gone be different with her I guess he really caught up in his addiction.. I also hope the DJ don’t get caught up with dumb dumb but also come to a point of realizing her parents with her momma foul mouth self just trying to control her.. Well I guess it’s on to book 2..

One word -Rude
That is the best way to describe Cortez aka Belly. He was cocky, confident and very straightforward. While he was not copulating with multiple women, his "hoe-tation" was loyal to him and women were trying to get recruited to be on the team. Blaise is pretty, sexy, smart and trying to forge her own career. It took me a few chapters to get into the story, but when I did, I was all in. The supporting characters were as much a mess as the Belly's harem of harlots. It was interesting how Blaise's mom depending on her daughter to maintain her life. She may as well had her working in a brothel because she encourages to go with the man who has the "deepest pockets". Belly has women constantly trying to come in between him and the newly formed relationship with Blaise fights, surprise pregnancies and popups. Blaise had 2 exes who meant her no good and were constantly making disparaging remarks about her to anyone who would listen. The supporting characters were dealing with a baby daddy who wanted to keep his family secret, an addiction to hookers and overbearing parents. This was simply a well-written and entertaining story. On to book 2.

Yes now this is how you release a book!! I love Belly sorry not sorry. I just love how fiercely he feels for Blaise. He’s brutally honest with everybody. He doesn’t play around with Blaise lol! She done met her match! I don’t know what he be doing to these women smh! Nichole , Maia, Cadence, Kharla and Sienna! Like gurrrrrrl ya’ll were never together! All ya’ll can’t be dicmatized? It’s like He has his own cult? She’ll fall in line really? They all done drank the kool aid. Five Star ain’t ish and she should have shot him in his pinky toe! ain’t no way! Man, this is another one of these series that has you already at the edge of your seat and it's only the first book or the introduction...
Blaise, man please grow up and be less than a child. Stopped being used by anyone and try to be your person, specially from the home front. I hope I will be hot on her because right we are at the lukewarm stage and didn't even stop at warm.
Cortez "Belly", why oh why... I still like you though.. Alpha to the triple power and down right my next bae book and you are fineeee also..

At this time I’m reserving how I feel about Blaise. How she deals with men in her life is a direct result of Five-Star. Sadly men should not make you do things out of the norm. She’s a good mom to their daughter though.
Meet Cortez “Belly”. He’s hood and got an entourage like Iverson. Believe it or not he has a “harem” of women who accepts their roles. Trust me men will not respect women like that. He meets Blaise and believes he can go the monogamous route but temptations are rampant.
Meet the supporting casts that all got their own drama going on. Will got a serious addiction that is costly. Interesting to see how that plays out because he’s truly addicted that it will affect his relationships. He needs help Lol 😂. Priscilla has to realize when you with someone for all those years with kids and he does but out a ring on it means he is still looking.
So far I like Belly and this author have the other supporting casts flawed and realistic because not everybody life is not gravy. Now Belly ain’t no walk in the park but he’s a work in progress.

Mannn great read
You are a beast with the pen. You never disappoint! Belly is messing up totally. Blaise is just the one to make that fool act right! I hope she doesn't end her pregnancy though because a baby is a gift regardless. Blaise needs to realize that Cortez is used to having hoes and lots of them so to be faithful to her was going to be a task. I feel like they can eventually work it out after she makes him suffer for a while. Belly's women were nuts too they were so desperate for his time! He needs to get a taste of his own medicine though and I think Blaise is the perfect one to give him a taste. Will is really losing it with the prostitutes and needs to seek help because he has an issue and it's getting worse. Maia is going to need around and kill her crazy self trying to have a baby that she can't have to try to hang on to Belly. I can't wait til the next book drops!

When I chose this story it was with a little apprehension,I just let it set because the synopsis didn't really grab me.I must say the writer gives you such a compelling story about a group of people and the lives they lead.First let me say that I am not really feeling Belly and Blaise .I think k a lot of it has to do with the fact of the matter that they are not really having a relationship but just an affair.I also.feel that Belly uses sex to manipulate Blaise and she falls every time.Also just how many times are we going to be reminded. that Belly has stable of women.(dummies)Also.Alivia girl grow up and get real,if I was Manny you would be history.This was drama at its peak and then some,overall good.

Now did you really have to end it like that 😩😩I’m sad mane. Nichole deserved that at end. Belly just can not do right can he? I love how each character is...Will has a serious problem. Omg, where do I begin to make this short and juicy.... This book was do good DDD read it in one day.shvonne latrice never disappoints.i hated belly but I loved him,funny right.he was cocky arrogant and sexy,and he loved the ladies,but he only loved one (Blaise),oh how I loved those two because they balanced one another.manny needed to grow up,will needed to go to a sex anonymous program,Nichole was a jealous hater and I know belly go tag that azz because he warned her,I like prissy but she's back little Nieve when it comes to Rafi.i also have hope for Alivia and her freedom.excellent book.

Prissy a good woman and I hope she starts putting her foot down with Rafi or leave him alone. All these chics Belly was smashing are thirsty they really need to move on. Alivia tickles me how she be dissing Manny and he keeps on trying to get at her. She needs to move out and live her life however she pleases. I’m Trying!
First I’ll start by saying this book was very good!
But every time I tried to start liking Belly he do something that makes me want to throw the book! Honestly, all the guys in the book are… interesting choices. Because what is up with Will and his strange addiction?! Manny just needs to man up.
The girls in this series are cool. I like Blaise because she stands on business. Priscilla and Alivia seem sweet. But I’m questioning all of their choices in men lol.
Overall, a good read and I’m excited and nervous to go to the next book!

Wow what a ending. That damn Maia trying to make it seems like she still pregnant and I just knew eventually it was going to come out that Belly cheated. I really hope Blasie don't terminate the pregnancy because right now she's not thinking clearly because she hurt. I have a feeling Five-Starr about to start some drama in part 2 because he was a lil bit to quite in part 1. I really enjoyed this read and ready for the next. Great job Shvonne!!

She needs to learn how to think for herself and she better not kill that baby or she gonna be on my shit list. And Nicole is a bitch coming on to him while with her so call friend, she needs to get her karma real bad. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and eating popcorn while waiting on book 2.

I really tired to like Belly. All I know is that I ain't calling Blaise a gold digger but she ain't messing with no broke ni**a. And I don't blame her plus she had her own. The only thing I liked about Belly was the way he took up for Blaise and he didn't let Nichole blackmail him. I hope Priscilla finds the courage to leave. And Manny needs help. I can't wait to see what happens next.

A MUST READ
The book was really good from beginning to end and what a ending. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters. Really love Blaise and Belly together. Hope they work everything out and she doesn't go through her snap decision. Nichole, isn't her friend and she got on my nerves with her jealousy behind. Poor Priscilla. After that ending I can't wait to see what happens next.
