About the author

Parijat was a Nepalese writer. Her real name was Bishnu Kumari Waiba but she wrote under the pen name Parijat. Her most acclaimed publication is Shiris Ko Phool (The Blue Mimosa), which has also been adapted in the literature curriculum of some colleges in some English-speaking countries like United States, England etc.

धेरै अघि पढेर यो उपन्यासको गहिरो छाप बोकेर हिंडेकी छु । नायिकाले कानमा सिउरेको फूल बिर्सिन सक्दिन । मेरो लागि उत्कृष्ट रचना, प्रभावित भएर धेरै कथा लेखेकी छु । मैले लेख्ने हरेक आख्यानले यही उपन्यासको बाटो पहिल्याउन खोजे जस्तो लाग्छ । फेरी पढ्न धेरै मन छ तर मेरो यो अमिट पुस्तक प्रेमलाई बिथोल्न चाहन्न ।

वाह गजब । पारिजातको लेखन शैलीको कुनै जवाफ छैन। यो उपन्यासको एक-एक शब्दले मुटुमा निकै गहिरो प्रभाव पार्छ। आशा, निराशा, निराशा पछि फेरि अर्को आशाको फिलिङ्गो अनि फेरि निराशा अनि फेरि...। एउटा रोलर कोस्टरको राइड जस्तो। मान्छेहरूको विभिन्न चरित्रको चित्रण गरिएको छ यो उपन्यासमा । पारिजातको अहिलेसम्म पढेको अरू कृतिहरू भन्दा मलाई यो निकै मनपर्यो।

यो उपन्यासमा पहिलो र दोश्रो प्रवाह एक अर्कासँग बिल्कुल पृथक छन्। सोचें किन कथाको किताब जस्तो एउटै किताबमा राखेको होला। तेस्रो प्रवाह पढ्न शुरू गरेपछी बल्ल थाहा पाएँ, सबै प्रवाहहरु एक आपस्त कसरी जोडिएका छन्।

यो उपन्यासले शुरूकाे पाना देखि अन्तिम पाना सम्म निःसन्देह बाँधेर राख्ने छ।

पारिजातको फ्यान हो र यो उपन्यास पढेको छैन भने, पढ्नै पर्ने उपन्यास हो।

The book expresses the deeper demon of man which prevents them from being human. Bijaya the protagonist exploiting Bijji his adopted child to great extent shakes the soul. The comparison of Bijji life with teachers and his wife by headmaster is also wonderful and possesses philosophy. The defined eyes express the misery, pain and impact of evil on femine soul.

 Paribhasit Aakhaharu has been developed by connecting two contrast stories overlapping with one another at the end.

First story is about a young girl 'Biji' who is raped by his adoptive father.
Second story is about the the love and struggle of a middle class woman 'Basantiya'.
Basantiya is searching and comparing the definition of her eyes on Biji's eyes.

Built with strong writing and touching vocabulary, this novel is a masterpiece of paradigm(pattern of thought)

पारिजात को लेखन शैली उत्कृष्ट छ | अति नै भावुक र मर्मस्पर्षिक कथा पढ्दै जादा कतिपय पात्र हरु संग रीस उठ्नु र कतिपय पात्र संग समबेदना को भाव निकाल्न सक्नु यो कृति को सबल पक्ष्य हो |

तर एउटा बिन्दु मा गए पछि कथा धेरै नै अनुमानित ढंग ले बग्दै जान्छ र suspense हराउन थाल्छ | अनुमानित भन्दा फरक ढंग ले कथा बगोस भन्ने आस मै कृति टुंगिन्छ |
