UPDATED review - if you have a copy of this book there is ZERO reason to read this version, unless you are looking for only the first 10 chapters of the original story. This copy/version right here called You and me part 1, is part of a story already printed in the original book You and Me written 4 years prior!!!!!! That book - You and Me or possibly titled You are Me part 2 (???)is the full story. This book is only the first 30% of the original book. So if you have that original just read that for the full story!!

otherwise - I loved Jonathan and Emily and the whole fall in love beach vibe they had going on!!! BUT, my real review will be over on the official book that should be read, not this shortened book

What an awesome story. I was captured in the first chapter. The book has everything romance, passion, drama, mystery, danger, suspense, family love, loyal friends. There is so much action and mystery it keeps you turning pages. Enough love and romance that it keeps your interest. Amazing story. You can't help but fall in love with Jonathan and Emily. I loved reading this part and part 2 adds even more to their story that you won't want to miss.

Cliffhanger

Really good story. Super sweet & authentic characters. I loved the friendships between everyone. Em & J were the cutest! He was so sweet with her.

The reason it's 4 and not 5 stars is Emily. Her reasoning for not being able to continue anything(friendship or otherwise) has yet to be seen & I'm not convinced it was enough of a reason. While i liked Em throughout the book, I loved Jonathan. He was perfect! You couldn't ask for a better guy for her. & She gave him nothing... literally nothing. Not a number or last name. Cut off completely. I'm offended & mad on Jonathan's behalf. All I can I say is her reason better be worth it. Now I'm on to the second book

I read this back when both parts were in a single story and I loved the theme of the story, it really tugged the heart strings. You can tell the author put her whole heart into the story. This is a fantastic first foray into the romance genre from an author who is going to great heights in the future. Recommended for all romance lovers.
