Chris is also a prolific painter, with nearly a thousand oil art works to his name. He has been involved in extensive studio recording. After graduating from University of Waterloo in Honours Mathematics and Computer Science he backpacked and biked throughout Europe and Asia in the 90s before teaching computer programming courses in Ottawa, Canada.
Chris’s other interests are guitar, cycling, meditation, canoeing and tennis.

Turner has penned an exciting novel that will hook readers from the beginning. Fast paced, intriguing science fiction thriller that just rolls off the pages…The novel is totally engaging and highly believable. The protagonist tries from the start of the book with a bang, trying to hook up appetising goods stealing from a sanguinary warlord, and from then on messy and improbable situations land on his way. The author is technically well versed which adds greatly to the authenticity of the narrative. A must read. A real roller-coaster. Great characters, believable plot-line and nail-biting suspense. This has been a wonderful adventure and a fantastic prequel!

"Thetis 3" is an action packed, twisty tale.
Just when you, the reader, think that you've got things straight another twist comes your way. Thankfully, the twists aren't predictable.
This is my first introduction to Mr. Turner's work and I am glad of that introduction. I look forward to getting to know Mr. Turner's work further.
It looks like Mr. Turner has things in hand to lead us on some good adventures.
In the interest of transparency, Mr. Turner provided me a copy of "Thetis 3" for review.

Great world building and creative characters. The author is exceptional at describing this adventure so realistically that you can easily envision yourself in the thick of it all. The twists and turns keep the reader turning the pages anxious to find out what happens next. Great author and a great read! If you love sci-fi you are really going to love this one! Totally unpredictable events with non-stop action! Highly recommended!

Love this character by author TURNER..Hardbitten,somewhat jaded,but with dignity,(among other good traits) fights,cons,and basically trouble-makes his way through the galaxy! A true companion to his other space-opera stories,and a fine read!

This is what I would call comic book writing. Fast paced and action packed but shallow and unengaging. The writing was just too weak compared to the last series I read so I just couldn't continue and dnf'd it.

This is an incredible story with intense action that you do not want to put down. The characters are awesome and well-developed and the story is very compelling. I read this straight through! Can hardly wait for the next book!

Lots of action, adventure and bad decisions. Stealing is a hard way to make a living especially if you are stealing from someone who has no morals or hesitation to kill. Rusco may have a certain honor and morality but that doesn't stop him from breaking the law.
