Gifts aside, Ethan’s morning hasn’t been anything to write home about. Sure, life is good, the pack is staying out of trouble, he finally has a mate who boils his blood ... in a good way.
Except Shelley hasn’t called. Hasn’t come by. Didn’t even bother to join her son and his girlfriend for Ethan’s annual I’m-a-year-older breakfast.
What Ethan doesn't know is that Shelley has plans. Plans that have been in progress for weeks. Ones that Ethan will never see coming, and that she’s banked on him not knowing a thing about.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review
Enticed is a short story taking place after Unnatural, although it can be read out of order, I wouldn't recommend it. There are some couples which are together in this story which only get together in later books and I did like that as it felt like this story was part of the overarching storyline, while it still didn't continue the main storyline.
Enticed takes place during a few hours on Ethan's birthday. The whole pack is there like always, but his girlfriend Shelley is missing. Then Shelley her son shows up with his present and a letter from Shelley and things take a turn from there on. It's a hot story and it's certainly hotter than we're used to from these books.
I enjoyed reading this book and it was fun to see Ethan and Shelley together like this, they certainly are a great couple and it was sweet and hot at the same time. How Shelley presents Ethan present was fun and well done.
This novella isn't necessary to read for the storyline, but I would recommend it if you like Ethan and would enjoy a hot little adventure with him as main character.
To conclude: a fun and hot addition to this series. It doesn't further the main plot, but it does fit into the series chronologically. I did enjoy this even though it was pretty short.

This is my brunch... Err... Is it too early for a birthday sex read?
Never too early or too late IMO. Very short story, not much character intro or background. No peek at the world building. What you'll get is a good dose of sexy time though. Who doesn't want some sexy once in a while??
Now I'd like to meet the rest of the pack.

This is my first time reading JA Belfield...but wow! This was a very hot story! I wish I'd read the previous books so I'd have a better understanding of the world the writer's created. I'm intrigued for more!

INITIAL THOUGHTS
I'm looking forward to reading this novella as it feels like quite a while since reading the last Holloway Pack novel. I have totally fallen, head over heels in love with this series. I have read every novel and novella as they have been available and totally adored every one of them. Reading a Holloway Pack book feels like revisiting old treasured friends!
MY REVIEW
So the cover is Rrrrrather nice isn't it? For fans of the Holloway Pack you will know that the majority of the Holloway Pack men are well . . . gorgeous. In this cover the h. . hot male body belongs to Ethan. To those who haven't read any of the Holloway Pack books yet, wow you are sooo missing out on great books, brilliant plots, and hot, hot, male shifter's. What are you waiting for? So the cover of this book depicts a scene from the book. Ethan has his card/love note from Shelley is oh so lucky "other half" sticking out of the top of his jeans. I love the byline from Keri Lake, "I didn't think Ethan could get any sexier . . . I was wrong" I have to agree Ethan is super sizzling in this mini novella.
So what do I think to the cover? Yesssss! we have the imagery of the hot hunky body of the shifter on the cover, of course I like it! I also like how we don't see Ethan's head and face as I'm sure the many readers of these books will all have different idea's as to exactly what Ethan should look like. This cover teases the reader but still leaves plenty to the imagination of the reader too. Purrrrfect!
So before I begin my review I probably should point out that this mini novella is rather racy in places. Having said that the steamy/racy bits are well within the context of this short story but because of these steamy scenes I would probably err on the side of caution and say this one is for adult readers 18+.
Ethan initially gets out of bed and has his famous "I'm a year older birthday breakfast" with other members of the pack and is pleased to see that Shelley's son has joined the pack for this special breakfast. Ethan is however, seriously disappointed that Shelley isn't around, though he keeps up a facade that he isn't bothered by her absence. Ethan is full of bravado within the pack but I think he is a big softie at heart. Ethan never thought he would ever have a woman, a mate of his own. When Jem and Sean got together it ignited a hope in Ethan that he may one day find his soul mate. Then when Ethan had almost given up looking, he helped Shelley's son, and ended up in a passionate relationship her. Ethan doesn't like surprises (he is the kid at Christmas who opens all the presents in 5 minutes flat!and cannot understand where Shelley is. Her absence really bothers him so when he receives the note he is relieved and excited all at the same time. Shelley has written on the note "For your eyes only" . . . and it really is for Ethan only.The book tells how Ethan follows the instructions on the letter and eventually finds Shelley, all dressed up waiting for Ethan to unwrap her! Yes this one is rather racy, hot and steamy but hey it's the Holloway Pack and these guys are hot! They work on a construction site so yep they are well. . . nicely packaged, fit, hunky guys.
It was a pleasure to learn more about Ethan and have him as the central character rather than lurking in the shadows, or playing Sean's wing man. I really do truly enjoy these books and put the plots and writing easily on a par with Kelley Armstrong's Women Of The Otherworld Series and Amanda Carlson's Jessica McClain Series too.
So did I enjoy the mini novella? Yes, it's short n sweet, and hot n spicy all rolled into one. Would I recommend the mini novella? Yes, it can be read as part of the Holloway Pack series or as a standalone, but why would you want to read only one book in this addictive series? J.A. Belfield manages to deliver some fantastic candy for the eyes and the heart with her amazing Holloway Pack books. Would I like to read more Holloway Pack? Yes, please as soon as its available! lol! I'm looking forward to seeing what the pack have been up to. Would I read other titles written by this author? Yes, I would checkout any book by this author.

Oh holy hawtness!! Let me start out by saying this is not for the younger crowd. And it's not for the weak of heart! And maybe you should read it in a cold shower!! And jeez Louise Ethan in more than HAWT and Shelley just went up a few notches in my book!! I also didn't know Ms J could get so down and dirty!! This one is a short story that is all about Ethan's birthday. It's supposed to be special. But, well things aren't turning out like usual. It's almost like no one wants to celebrate his special day...
And I had to laugh because I thought Ethan was gunna turn into a 5 year old girl and have a temper tantrum :) Heaven forbid if he didn't get his way lol! No worries, I think you should read this no matter if you know this series or not, because it's totally awesome :) This is something special. You see, things are not always this HAWT! I loved that we get some nitty gritty dirty awesome sauce :)
There's a little bit of the story line, but really, this one was written just for us fans. It's ok if you didn't read the first few books. I promise you will want to if you check this one out. So with that I'm saying if you're a fan of the Holloway Pack, or an Ethan fan, or you just want something hot and sexy to read- do yourself a favor and pick it up :) 5 WOLFY PAWS

So anyone who knows me, knows I am a HUGE Ethan fan. Heck, Ms. Belfield even mentioned in the acknowledgements of this little novella that I begged for the story to be written. Like...begged. Salivated and got on my knees.
Anyhoo.
Ethan Holloway as we've never seen him - enjoying a birthday present only Shelly can give him. Lucky duck, let me tell you! Hot damn. I don't want to give too much away, yet I want to gush over the details. The choice of words. The heat. The need to bite. Mate. Ms. Belfield rocks yet another story with her ability to create pictures within your mind. Oh, and what a movie this is!!!

This novella is exactly what the Holloway Pack series needed...a bit of werewolf naughty minus the fur and fangs. Ms. Belfield stays true to her voice, the characters, and setting, giving us a glimpse into the lives of my favorite pack. From a breakfast feast around the family-sized table to Ethan's boxers, this short read satisfies a smidge more than the other titles. *wink wink*

This was a fun sexy short novella. The characters have a romance going on that carries over from other parts of the series, and it's Ethan's birthday. I think every man out there would want to have his surprise present! And Shelly definitely enjoys giving it to him, I really loved the little notes and clues.
You can really see some of the tension in their lives come out a few times, and it was kind of fun to see the play back and forth between them. Definitely a nice quick read at bedtime.

I wasn’t sure what to expect in this novella. It is the first I have read of this author and took a chance based on a recommendation. This is a hot little short story. I didn’t have the emotional connection with the charters automatically since this book really feeds off of the series it compliments.
After this little taste you will want to go check out the other Halloway pack books. My only complaint is that it is indeed very short, the sign of something good, that it left me curious of the other books in the series.

Ethan's birthday surprise from Shelly turns out to be just as much of a present for her as for him.
If you've been looking for a HOT read, there is definitely some steam going on here! Holloway pack fans will eat this up. Non-pack fans (can there be such a thing, gasp...) will enjoy this quick read also as it can stand alone from the rest of the series, but I would read all the other yummy stories too!
