The sheriff's intent on justice, but one look at the gun toting, pants wearing woman and he knows she'll belong to him. It's a sweet, spicy and short story that will have you coming back for more! Their Reckless Bride by Vanessa Vale still has the tradition of 2 men and one woman set in the historical romance. Hank, Charlie and Grace are the couple that bring the sizzle, passion, excitement, drama, twists, secrets and romance to the pages. Will they get their HEA? You won't be disappointed in this exciting new romance read.
It’s cheesy, it’s misogynistic, it’s a trashy romance. It’s hot…I did the audiobook and think I prefer to read them so I can skim over the boring parts. 😆🥵
I was surprised by this and I really liked it but it needed to be longer. I loved Grace and she was such a badass. I just wish she had gotten more of a story. I mean she was treated like garbage by her family but still got in the trenches with them. She was brave enough to save two men she didn't know but eventually because her husbands. I am in awe of her strength and fortitude. I loved her with Charlie and Hank.
And of course, I mean this is a menage book so there was plenty of fuckery but I really wish that the story had been longer and had been able to develop these characters and their relationship more because I feel like Grace deserved it!
Just finished re-reading Their Reckless Bride. It is the 12th installment of Vanessa Vale’s Bridgewater series. In this one, she chronicles the polyamorous romance of Grace Grove, Sheriff Hank Baker, and Charlie Pine. While pursuing the Grove gang for recent bank robberies and the murder of Hank’s father, they run into Grace. Grace saves them from her father and brother’s guns by wounding them. Her father and brother, Travis, have made her life a living hell. She has been abused, both physically and verbally. They treat her as a slave. The final straw that sets her against them is when her father gives her in lieu of payment to another abusive man, Barton Finch. Hank and Charlie fall for her upon first sight as she does for them. Can they keep her safe? What becomes of her father and brother? Does Barton Finch continue to insert himself into her life? Will Hank, Charlie, and Grace find happiness? You must read this book to find out.
Ms. Vale does a remarkable job with this romance. Like in the others she has penned, her skill with dialog, POV, and descriptive language works cohesively to capture her readers attention. Through POV readers glean the backstory of the three lead protagonists. I like the quick pace of her plot and her characters. She makes them very likeable. I enjoyed this series. There were similarities with each of the books like the dominant alpha male protagonists. I liked that she differentiated the female leads making them strong, yet vulnerable. The themes in this series focused on betrayal and greed on the part of the antagonists to loyalty and caring on the part of the male protagonists. If readers are into historical western romances of a polyamorous nature then this is the series for you.
I loved Grace Hanks and Charlie story Grace came from a bank robbing outlaw killing everyone in sight family of Outlaw bank robbers they treated her like a slave and abused her and did some horrible things to her Hank is the sheriff of the little town Charlie is his best friend and her family robbed the bank which had all of Charlie's money and the townspeoples they were the ones he suspected killed his father which was the old Sheriff anyway one thing led to another they ran across each other Grace was one hot and Sassy man dressing women I feel sad for Grace and happy about the story in general it was very good and sexy as all get-out Five Star Realty
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is part of the Bridgewater series but it can be read as a stand-alone. Grace had a hard childhood growing up the daughter of an outlaw. She ends up saving Hank and Charlie and once they see Grace, they both know that she is the woman for them. Sparks fly but Grace has a lot of secrets that could put them in danger, will they discover the truth? Fast-paced steamy ménage read with great characters and a story that really draws you in with the drama and suspense. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it.
Grace, Hank and Charlie's story is wild and hot! Grace is the daughter of an outlaw. She is trying to break free of them..she saves both men but then it's time to pay up..and not to them! It's an interesting read for sure, with great characters!
I’m done with this series if these books weren’t free I would’ve stopped sooner, this author is a one trick pony. Literally every one of these books are written the exact same way!
Oh what a surprise another young venerable woman with no opinion but to marry 2 men she just met that day.
The guys within minutes of meeting her rather than getting to know her at all, are dominating & controlling.
The one guy is supposed to be the sheriff yet he’s not professional at all, he just takes what he wants.
The poor girl had already been thrown to one man by her father for payment & she luckily got away, but then these two men are just a step up from the bank robber with how little they seem to respect her.
This book just made me cringe 😬
Then of course like almost all the other books, since she barely had time to speak to her new husbands she didn’t know someone threatened her. So of course she left and tried to deal with things on her own but her men came in and saved the day.
🤦♀️ I have no clue who would actually pay for these books, there’s never a real story just the same recycled material over and over. Even the smuts & the wording is all the exact same, it’s what I would expect an AI 🤖 to come up with.

This story was outlaw . Amazing charter and the story was fantastic. Fiery save their live by shooting her own father and brother and took off . Grace foul mouthed, and a crack shot and finds out that she’s the perfect match for a ex solider and a lawman by circumstances not choice. This is another MFM romance in the series. Grace Grove, Sheriff Hank Baker, and Charlie Pine. Sheriff Baker and Charlie pursue the Grove Gang (Grace’s father and brother) and are ambushed by them. Grace saves them from being killed. All her life her family treated her as a slave and kept her around to clean and cook for them. She was beatened by her father and verbally abused by both her father and brother. The final straw was when her father gives her as payment to another abusive man, Barton Finch. Grace frees herself from Barton and seeks out her family looking for revenge. She finds them ambushing the sheriff and his deputy. Does she succeed in getting revenge? Is Barton Finch out of her life? How does a sheltered Grace deal with the affections and attraction of two handsome men? Want to know more find out yourself I recommend this book I give 5/5.
This is another Bridgewater Menage. Each book is a stand alone but trust me if you read one you will want to read all of them. Hank is the sheriff and Charlie is his friend who had money in the bank that was robbed. They are tracking down the gang that robbed the bank. Grace saves their lives and of course they are curious about the small, slim person dressed as a young boy. They tracked him down in order to thank him and also to find out how they can be attracted to a male. Of course they find out he's a she and quite a stubborn she. That's when the fun begins. Grace doesn't give in easily and is really quite insecure. You'll have to read the book to find out how Hank, Charlie, and Grace end up together and if they stay together. Afterall, Grace is related to the gang that robbed the bank. This like all of the Bridgewater books so far are 5 star books. You won't want to put it down once you start reading it.
I love these cute little 3-4 hour little novellas!! They have a ménage, in this cute little town known as Bridgewater….They all have these fun and interesting plots with different characters and backgrounds. These are almost as good as Lexi Blake’s Bliss series the only difference is her series are full books, not Novellas. So they’re worth a full credit. These are great but I’m not sure I’d want to spend so much for 3-4hours of listening….
In this story we have two law men, a sheriff and his lawman trying to protect a small town. However; our heroine is a tomboy who’s part of the Grove family, a band of thieves trying to rob banks, degrade women, and well ruin small town life. Will the law be able to break through her tough exterior and get to the softer side so they can help her get away from her past or will what’s behind her destroy her future.
That’s all I want to say about this one, I love Kylie Stewart’s narration as usual. I would read this one again.
Bridgewater is a dream...where a woman is loved, cherished and protected...by two..sometimes three men. No M/M involved,
This story is about Grace, the guntotoing fiesty bride, and Hank the (son of the deceased sheriff) and Charlie.
Grace is keeping a deep secret and it takes the love of Hank and Charlie to make her do something about it. Once out, Hank and Charlies goes after Grace...and they find out that Grace protects them just as much as they protect her..if not more.
The same as other books but this time around she is a daughter of an outlaw. However, even if she can shoot a moving target with precision she is still a innocent virgin (snooze), is it that hard write a strong woman???? I'm also wondering if they got a special offer on b^tplugs because every single one of the couples has one to "train" their women....So, 12 couple and each has a set...I'm pretty sure they got a buy in bulk deal 🤣🤣🤣 good narration. Free on audible + cat
Grace was never given a chance to live any other way but as an outlaw, until she met Hank and Charlie. Not only does she have 2 Bridgwater men to care and love her but they ave one feisty wife that will do anything to keep them safe.
This proves their is someone for everyone. Fiery, foul mouthed, and a crack shot and finds out that she’s the perfect match for a ex solider and a lawman by circumstances not choice. This turns out to be the greatest match that you never knew you wanted.
I loved th characters, the female character is strong and has grown up in an abusive family so when she meets the two men from Bridge water she is totally blown away.
This is another MFM romance in the series. Grace has been raised by outlaws but saves the law men who are about to be killed by them. Similar to other books in this series, the men are pushy and don't give Grace time to think but she does want them and is not forced.
