G.K. De Rosa has been an avid reader from a very young age. In fact, before she could even read, she tried fooling everyone into thinking that she could. At the precocious age of two, while living in Italy, she had memorized an entire children’s book in Italian and expertly turned the pages at the exact right moments of the story. As she grew up, she always enjoyed literature, no doubt having been instilled with a love of story telling from her early years in Catholic school where she was greatly influenced by exemplary teachers who taught her the value of English and Literature. Though she did not pursue writing in college and instead went for the more traditional route of International Business inspired by her love for travel and all things foreign, after a move to New York City, she found her creative writing side calling once again. She began writing a restaurant review blog, City Lights and Tasty Bites, detailing her other passion – food! The hectic hustle and bustle of the city, combined with long commuting times gave her the opportunity to spend more time reading and rekindled a lost love. After reading countless books in many diverse genres over the two years in New York City, and returning to her home state of Florida, she felt compelled to write something for herself. She had always felt particularly drawn to Young Adult novels and having been an eternal romantic at heart, a fantasy romance was a natural choice. She currently lives in South Florida with her real life Prince Charming and their fur baby, Nico the German Shepherd.

I loved this book. The twist and turns had me at the edge of my seat and desperately flipping pages.

I enjoyed seeing several different sides of Tempe. It was nice seeing her softer sweet side as well as her fierce protectiveness for Bella. Tempe came off less rude in the this book and just more strong willed and fiercely loyal.

I was happy to see more chapters with Drake's POV and especially liked reading his feelings and fears as he fell in love. Not only did Drake put himself out there emotionally he openly expressed his feeling, which I appreciated.

Bella was of course was sweet but she also showed her love for both Drake and her sister. It was nice seeing Bella make friends. And Bella stood her ground in several scenes that made me quite proud of her.

Okay now for that cliffhanger. The sad thing was, I saw it coming. No really, the author hinted at the cliffhanger to me... and I must have a sadistic side because that cliffhanger had me smiling, shaking my head and in a desperate need for book 3. Loved this whole book. I wouldnt change a thing.

I did not see that twist coming!! My mouth was hanging open like “Whaaaaaat is going to happen now?!”

Both twins have strong feelings for Drake, but one of them is loath to admit it. I was really frustrated with one of the girls for pushing her sister to examine her feelings, but at the same time I understand why she did it. I also appreciate that the girls know this is difficult and awkward, but they don’t want anything to come between their sisterhood.

We see a lot more of Drake’s point of view in this book, which I enjoyed. He has a lot of emotion swirling around under that icy mask of his!

I also really enjoyed the cameos of some of the characters from Darkblood, as I’ve been missing them and wonder how they’re getting along.

I think Garrix is a jerk, and I’d really love for him to stop using his children, but I doubt that’s going to happen.

The ending had me huffing in frustration and wanting to pull my hair out, because something wonderful happened but then of course, a dampener got put on everything.

I can’t wait for the conclusion to see what happens! I know there will be more hardships and twists and turns to get there, but I really hope BOTH girls get a happily ever after!

Well, generously giving this 3 stars. If there wasn't only 1 book left to finishing this series, I would not bother with the next book -3. But I'll give it a go to see where it ends. I still don't like Drake in this series. I just can't get behind him- to want either twin to "win" him over. I also don't like Tempe, all the talk about stepping aside so she won't interfere with her sister & Drake seemed like BS since she didn't do what she said she would. Drake & Tempe deserve each other IMO. Bella is too sweet for her own good, and doesn't deserve to be in this situation. Garrix sure seems horrible in this series, I thought he cared more about all his daughters than this. I know he has always been manipulative in the previous series, but in this series, he seems downright mean & uncaring about his twin daughters. The situation for the twins, with them both getting mate marks to Drake, was horrible, I down right hated it. I felt absolutely horrible for Bella. Like I said, if it weren't only 1 book left to the series, I'd have quit the series at this point.

This reality show Royally Hitched is royally screwed.

First were the assassination attempts on Prince Drake. Next was the fight to the death contest for the ladies in the maze. And now the Prince is in prison for a murder he most definitely did not commit. Lastly, the twins Tempest and Arabella are both falling hard for Drake, and he for them.

When Drake and Arabella stumbled upon the bloated body of King Seris in the Royal baths, the Prince was immediately suspect and taken to the Supernatural Intelligence Agency’s (SIA) headquarters and thrown in a cell.

SIA wants to pin not only King Seris’s murder on Drake, but the murder of his late wife Miranda, as well. Drake had decided to choose love instead of duty this time, but now wonders if love will ever be in the cards for him again. Drake’s only hope is his former instructor Ryder - the man who won Luna’s heart - the only love of Drake’s life.

Drake feels the ice around his heart thawing for both sisters. Could there possibly be a happy ending for him after all?

Wow, I just love this series because, you know, Price Drake. He deserves some good luck. But as luck would have it, the author leaves us on a huge cliffy.

The author’s writing has much improved since Hitched, and I’m glad because I so enjoying her books!

I love this series it pulled me in right from the first page, and is definitely a real page Turner. There's twists and turns I didn't see coming. And the world building along with the characters building is fantastic. Reading it I could see in my mind's eye the epic scenes and how they would play out. I definitely recommend.

That cliffhanger

My heart literally felt like it stopped beating. This book had everything....passion, action, romance, drama....and then it just left me hanging. And now I'm left with curiosity, fear, anger, and hope. Just another fantastic, well written book by GK DeRosa. It was everything I expected, needed, and more!

Oh my gosh, what a simmering story book! Love the series, you never know what is going to happen. Like paint, the speckles are all over. The show was filming about the Winter Prince, Drake picking a wife from several fae that attended. Turmoil abound, death attempts, accidents and lots of action. Great storytelling, good book!

I love this series, it is very much light hearted and a little kitsch with the TV reality show theme, but it really does work. It's fast paced, full to the brim with twists and turns and intrigue. The twins are fantastic characters, as is Drake. I admit to being totally hooked!

Things are really starting to get dangerous in the palace. Tv show or not, lesser Fae invading the palace and attempting to kidnap a contestant is off the hook crazy! Tempest and Bella, the "Fae" twins (actually witches) appear to be the target of the kidnapping attempt. Great plot and characters, looking forward to book 3!

Book to in the series picks up where the first left off. SIA is tasked with finding out who murdered the king and the prince is looking mighty fine for it. Arabella and Tempest are growing closer to Drake as the days go by even as Garrix continues to warn them not to. The Noble-obligese army is getting closer to castle and traitors are walking all around. Drake learns alot of secrets and make some allies in this book. There's another elimination ceremony and the stakes get higher. We also see some familiar faces. I love this series. I volunteered to read this book.

Whew, that cliffy was no joke. What I love about GK DeRosa is no matter what she’s writing about, I’m always enthralled. The characters are real and endearing, even when they’re arguing. In fact, the arguing between Tempe and Drake are my favorite parts.
This book is fully of twists I didn’t see coming. I can’t wait for the next one.

Oh the Cliffhanger!!!!

Mrs. DeRosa has done it again. My heart was put through the wringer with this book with all the new twists. It was great seeing a few past characters and how their relationship is with Drake. I cannot wait to see what happens with the big twist and if the lesser fae will finally get a chance to represent themselves on the council.

G.K.Derosa certainly ramps up all the drama in book.2. Of Royally Hitched. It’s a storyline you can’t take your eyes away from without the need to return asap, so prepare yourself for late nights if like me you needed to inhale the whole story as your emotions are raked over the coals and stomped on once again. It’s a thrilling read including so many emotions and situations that it constantly keeps your adrenaline pumped in a world that is fantasy but yet feels so very real...Drake has more than just someone wanting to murder him to worry about as he is now held by the SIA without any care for his status or innocence. An alibi is offered with a debt that becomes to much to pay. The wolves are gathering as the council is urged to take his rightful throne. So a dating show is the last thing he wants to continue on, but it seems even that decision is taken from him. Bitching and fighting and dangerous games continue to play out, the lesser fae are getting more rebellious taking there bravest move against the palace yet. Secrets and lies are mounting, betrayal and mystery follow his every step Making his confusion between needing to eventually pick between Arabella & Tempest even harder. Arabella is still all soft edges and romance, Tempest all hard edges and protects her heart like a lioness protecting its cub. Drake’s heads in tatters until however a dangerous situation arises & his heart makes the decision for him. Sorted right ! Until a legend of myths comes to pass, will this mean the three will need to be continually integrated. Will the girls reveal all their secrets at a risk of loosing Drake? Or will the truth be to shocking.
What is a shock is when Drake sneaks into the middle of a secret meeting and cannot comprehend what he is seeing. The realisation of the possibility of history repeating itself all over again, might be just to much for him to bear leaving such a cliffhanger you actually scream out nooooooooo !!! Don’t leave it there !!! G.K.Derosa you are certainly an astounding and awe-inspiring producer of creativity.

OMG G.K. DeRosa strings my heart on a line and takes it for a ride once again!

THE FAE TWINS picks up right where the first book leaves off. The king is dead and there's one prime suspect. Drake is in thrown into prison and the show is put on hold. As much as the twins didn't want to, they've developed feelings for Drake and are worried about how to get him out. Tempe, more stubborn than Bella, tends to keep her feelings buried deep down, especially since she knows her sister likes him too.

When Drake is finally released, drama picks up once the show starts again. With the king gone, things are totally different, and it isn't really for the better. Drake is constantly being challenged about his title and gets crap for still being suspected as the king's killer. The Spring court is ruthless and there are still dangers around every corner.

As the show continues, Drake knows that he doesn't want anyone to make his choices for him. He knows he must come to the decision of Tempe or Bella. When push comes to shove, he'll have no choice but to make the decision with his heart. Then, something even more amazing happens (this is me... not giving away spoilers).

ROYALLY HITCHED: THE FAE TWINS is a paranormal romance bachelor style with drama and comedy tagging along for the ride. Tempe is still my favorite twin and I love how she puts her sister before herself no matter the situation. The alternating POVs keeps things interesting and I love seeing the different sides of each character. Drake is just as dreamy and strong as ever and I love how he doesn't want to let anyone push him around. I'm so excited for the third one!

Final Verdict: I would recommend this to fans of the Bachelor, fae, witches and warlocks, paranormal romance, siblings (especially twin stories), and drama.

Book two lets us catch up with Scarlett and Reina, familiar characters from the Darkblood Academy series, and welcomes back Ryder and Cillian, the main characters from both the Hitched and Darkblood Academy series, though their appearances are brief.

The twin sisters, Tempest and Arabella, find themselves drawn to the charms of Drake. Despite Tempest's efforts to conceal her affections, her selfless rescue of the prince sets in motion an event that will irrevocably alter their destinies.

Despite my previous assertion that Arabella is more fitting for the role of queen, ultimately, matters of the heart prevail, and it seems Drake has finally decided between the two. If only the council remained uninvolved, he may have a choice of heart. Otherwise, he would have to submit an arranged suitor for political gains.

This book finally fulfilled my long-held anticipation of Drake discovering the girls' father, only to be abruptly cut short by a tantalizing cliffhanger! Now that the secret is out, does it even matter which twin captures his heart?

The suspense is killing me! The latest twist has ignited some hope in me that perhaps it's the key for the twins to insert themselves into the Fae realm for real. I can't wait to devour the final book and discover the twins and Drake's ultimate fate. This tale has taken me on a whirlwind of emotions, leaving me breathless at every turn. It's truly a captivating story.

Wow if I thought the first book was good, I wasn't ready for this one.
Things in the "game" have progressed some more have been eliminated or killed, yes it has gone that far. Also things are hotting up beween Drake and the Twins,
Temp the hot headed firey one of the two, is determined just to get to the end and go home. Their father promised them if they finish the game and get him the intel they can move back to the human world and live with their mum and this is all they both want. She does not want to be a princess or Queen nor to fall in love with the Ice Prince as she calls Drake. However she finds herself helping Drake find out who is the spy after the palace is invaded by the rebel elves and Bella is helping too.
Bella finds herself with feeling for Drake and it seems as if Drake feels the same but he also feels the same for Tempe which is causing confusion all around.
Tempe actually at one point takes an arrow that is meant for the Prince, however it is tipped with poison and she is seriously ill. Drake has to call in his angel friend Cillian to help as the Palace Healer can't do it. This poison should not affect her as badly as it does as it is only supposed to affect the Fae that way and they are not fae - Are They???

I really enjoyed listening to the audiobook for this story. The story really captured my attention and held it throughout! I had trouble turning it off because I had to know what happened next.
The "battle" to win Royally Hitched really kicked up a notch. And, the battles in and out of the palace continued to rise. The level of unrest amongst the "lower fae" was rising.

There was a lot more action in the book. There were fight scenes between the prince , the guards and others. There was some fighting between the contestants both during filming and outside of filming, and there were more assassination attempts.

This book keep giving us more and more. Friendships are becoming stronger. The chance for love is there. But, there are lies, deceptions, challenges and more that face Drake, Bella and Tempst. I loved how the story line grew in depth involving these characters and others.

The epic turn of events at the end of the book.....wow! I totally didn't see that coming. I can't wait for book 3.

I liked this more than the first book. For some reason though this series isn’t drawing me in as much as previous ones.

We continue following the competition, deal with assassination attempts, possibly some new potential allies and certain secrets are revealed. There’s also some new reveals that I sort of saw coming, but it has me a little intrigued. While it didn’t feel like a lot happened we finally get some closure regarding who Drake is going to choose - and I am all for his choice.

What I LOVED about this was getting to see some of our beloved characters from the Academy days. Raine, Scarlett, Ryder and Cillian. RYDER AND CILLIAN GUYS.

And speaking of Cillian, is my man going to get a happily ever after? I’d read that. Not gonna lie I’d be happy with a series about the other twin and Cillian - yes I would absolutely ship that.

Anyway, still really excited to see the conclusion!

>Book Review – Royally Hitched: The Fae Twins
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 2nd in the Dark Fae series and ends in a cliffhanger. Drake continues the “Bachelor”-like competition after he is accused of murder. The twins, Tempest and Arabella, attempt to find out who is trying to kill Drake, while also dating him. The big twist in this book is finding out that Drake has 2 fated mates. Whichever twin Drake is with seems to be the one he likes best.
>The story tries to continue its game show format, having dates in cool new places, like the clouds in heaven. The other women in the competition are barely mentioned anymore, kinda nullifying the point of the game.
>This book is appropriate for a young adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. He finally picks a twin as they are both in danger, but as soon as a decision is made, everyone is wishy-washy about it again.

Royally Hitched: The Fae Twins (The Dark Fae Series Book 2) picks up soon after the events of book one, and things aren’t looking good for Drake. With the finger pointed in his direction he’s got to do whatever he can to uncover the true culprit before life, as he knows it is over. And if that wasn’t enough to deal with, he still has the show to contend with, while the lesser fae are rising up, conspiracies are coming to light, and his heart is being more and more torn between Tempest and Arabella.

I absolutely loved this book, possibly even more than the first. It was fast-paced with a few jaw-dropping twists that kept me reading well into the night. And that ending…ah! I can’t wait to see how things will resolve, so all I can say is bring on book three!

I received and ARC of this book. My review and opinions are my own and voluntarily given.

This is the second book of this series and I am drawn deeper and deeper. Tempest and Arabella have both fallen for Drake who is in prison for murder. He continues with the show after his release, but decides to choose for himself. On top of all of the back stabbing at Court, the rebels attack the palace and the twins are taken, someone tries to kill Drake again and gets Tempe instead. While recovering Drake, Bella and Tempe get one heck of a surprise. The twins may be more than they were told and Drake discovers the twins dear old dad is Garrix. I'm not fond of cliff hangers but I will force myself to be patient. I loved that this book had cameos of most of the Sup Slayer Squad at one point or another. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.

Twisted tale of Royal Fae

Prince Drake has the odds stacked against him and he will be lucky to survive let alone take the throne. Finding love is never easy especially if you have a castle and the Spring Court to offer. Drake is torn between the two twins yet you can feel he is more drawn to one than the other. There are so many secrets between them and I am not sure there is enough time to build up that trust for Drake to believe that the twins are there for him. Someone still wants him dead and wants his throne so life is pretty complicated right now. Finding the right people to trust is a matter of life and death. Can Drake be sure the girls loyalty, only time will tell.

The competition and eliminations on the show are heating up, and so is the drama.
Drake's life is on the line in more ways than one.
Someone is trying to kill him.
His council is trying to rule him.
The contestants are trying to win him.
Win him over.
And Drake finds himself stuck between two women.
Arabella is the sweet, gentle spirit.
Tempest is the blunt, straightforward one that always challenges Drake.
Drake finds himself drawn to both women for different reasons and is unable to choose.
Being framed for murder derails making a decision.
All the drama will definitely keep you on your toes, keep reading!

This is my favorite series by G.K. DeRosa ...

I love these characters! Temp has fire and a spirit that makes her a spit fire, while her twin Bella is the softer more romantic type, they seem like complete opposites in several ways. Drake, the fairy prince finds things he lives in both of them though, causing a three way problem that none of them really know how to solve.
This is such a great book and serious. Trust me I rarely give a 5star review, but this is a great read that you need to pick it. It contains action, love, frustration, and political plots all.

Fated mates!

What a cliffhanger! But I gotta say I have mixed feelings about the whole plot. Fated mates between the three of them and he has to choose one?! I didn't like that twist. It was already hard enough having to choose between them. Each girl is different and brings a different side of Drake out. Other than that this book is more survivor than a dating show with all the attacks obstacles the girls go through. Definitely keeping me interested with something always happening. I also love that we get inside each of their heads to for POV.

As the competition heats up, attractions become stronger and to complicate things even further, fated mate marks appear. Once again, duty rears it’s ugly face and stands in the way of following your heart. This book truly runs the gauntlet of emotions and this author manages to keep me in the dark like a ninja on a mission. Why do secrets have to be so destructive? Bella and Tempest are facing more than they thought but when Drake is imprisoned for the death of King Seris they are bound and determined to prove his innocence. The attacks are getting bolder from the lesser fae and everyone thinks they can control who Drake picks for his wife. The twists and turns keeps you guessing and wondering who’s behind all the attacks and who the traitor really is.
This book is awesome.
