This short takes us back into the lives of Reggie Turner and Israel Storm. Partners in life and in business, these two lean on each other even more as they navigate a family crisis, betrayal in business, and a mother intent on weaponizing their relationship to fit her own ends.
NOT A STANDALONE. Israel and Reggie’s story begins in (Watch Me) Body You. It is strongly advised that you read that first, before starting Full Circle.
A Caribbean transplant, Avril now lives in Stone Mountain, GA., with a tolerant Spousal Equivalent. Together they raise an eccentric daughter who loves reading and school (not so much school anymore). Avril’s earliest memories of reading revolve around discussing plot points of Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys with an equally book-minded mother
Always in love with the written word, Avril finally decided to do the writing in August of ’09 and never looked back. Spicy love scenes, delicious heroes, and wicked women burn up the pages of Avril’s stories, but there’ll always be a happy ending; Av remains a believer of love in all its forms.
"Do you want to talk?" Reggie eased backwards, cupping Israel's jaw. "Not yet." He shook his head. He'd tell Reggie what happened, just not that second. "I want to stay in your arms a little longer." "Okay."
I LOVE THEM SO MUCH, GAHH. 🥺 Israel and Reggie have my whole heart. they're probably a tie with Staniel as my fav Avril Ashton couple (so far).
✧ i'm conflicted on how to feel about Seraphina (Israel's mom), she's manipulative and has done some fucked up shit in the past (let's be real though, which character in this universe hasn't?) but the way she's making an effort and not giving up... i commend her for it. i can't tell if she's genuine or has some hidden agenda, but i still have to acknowledge the effort. ✧ i loved the closure between Israel and Reggie's mom, she's finally come to accept Israel and Reggie's relationship (even if it had to take the dad having a heart attack) and i'm just glad it was resolved. ✧ seeing all my fav characters (Stavros, Daniel, Levi, Van, Reggie and Israel) in one scene was honestly everything. i had to hold in my scream when that scene came bc it was 4am lol, but i just loved seeing them in one space, interacting. 😭 ✧ i loved the possessiveness, jealousy and cute moments in this novella. 🥰
My babies always leave my heart so full. Thank you for this novella. It was everything I wanted and more. I just...I just love them. That is all. They are so ride or die and such equals that it makes me melt. Even when it seems like Reggie has the upper hand because he's more dominant behind the scenes, he flips it right back on Is and shows how much he loves and belongs to Is as well. Loved seeing all the cameos and the humorous parts made me laugh out loud. Loved that Reggie's mom woman'd up and I've always loved his dad. Reggie's reaction to his scare made me teary eyed. Dima is always a welcome addition, but I liked that his appearance was short and sweet. Stavros..no words. Seraphina, that chick is crazy! I LOVE the way Is handled her. It was really on him to take care of that mess. Izek sounds like his life is about to get really interesting, and hopefully it'll end up being mmf if it goes that way. Mfm is a cake half baked lol All I all, I enjoyed!
This was an effed-up series of family reunions and mother-in-law troubles for Reggie and Israel as only Avril Ashton could bring us. Hope the rest of the Run This Town crew get sequels too.
This is an okay add-on novella to Watch Me Body You. It's not a must read. It mainly deals with various problems Israel and Reggie run into, e.g. Israel's birth mother and someone they work with. The plot is scattered between multiple threads and not all of them were easy to follow because it seems like you ought to have read to the end of this series and the next two to get the full context. I found that confusing. We do learn who Israel's mother is, finally, but nothing about the circumstances of how he ended up with the woman that raised him or his father. Perhaps this is dealt with in a different book? Reading it directly after book 2 felt disjointed. There are some nice scenes between Israel and Reggie, which make up from some of the areas I found the story lacking.
Reggie and Israel will always be my favorite couple of Avril's. I love them so much!! And I love when Dima makes his appearances 🤦🏽♀️🤣
On another note I FREAKING HATE STAVROS!! OMG! 😠😡😤 that man doesn't deserve love and I refuse to read his book. I loved the way Israel handle him when Stavros showed up at his house unwelcomed. The nerve! And I liked how Israel also handled that Daniel dude 🤣 he got them to the point where they left! And I loved it!
Full circle was a good read! I really wish they'd get married and have babies though☺️☺️
Reggie and Israel from this terrific series are continuing here some years later. Reggie and Israel are very naughty men. Someone has stolen from them and he'll get to the conclusion of the business. Is/Israel... Reggie... Reg and Is are hotter than the sun and so perfect for each other, with their unconditional love that rules their lives. We do see some jealousy, scorching hot sexy times, and trouble brewing.
This is a wonderful novella for the series, so we can be reunited with these exciting, yet dark and dangerous men. ENJOY !
Loved these two😩🥺♥️ no Maan Sbwl le nna to be loved like this. Yerrr ma the care they have for each other.
Is getting on his knees for Reggie will always get me🙆🏾♀️😂 ankere I had made assumptions in my head.
Israel's mom yhooo khanya🙄‼️ is all I have to say, tsa bona le tsa hao hadi tswani chommi🤷🏾♀️🫵🏾, you keep pushing /forcing your pace instead of taking the one he keeps setting with you
Is had me worried from watch me body you cause of how quick quick he accepted his love for Reggie that I was kinda waiting for the other shoe to drop and him to have like gay panic etc. but he was the opposite, wanting to go all public and stuff🥺
Love the whole Run This Town series so it was good to be back with one of my favourite couples Israel and Reggie. They are still hot and still devoted to each other and still as mean as f@@k when it comes to taking care of business! It was good to catch up with their friends and family too - although I would've loved a little more time with the crazy Russian. If you've not read the whole series yet, get to it! Highly recommended.
I really like Israel and Reggie, and I think i liked them more in this novella, than in their original story. Maybe that's because here they were deeply and madly in love throughout the novella. I was a little confused about some of the events, but I guess that's understandable considering I haven't read the entire series (and don't plan to). I don't get the purpose of this novella, but it was still nice to read about these two
I'm so glad the author brought Reggie and Is back in another book of their own! I can't say for certain that they're my favorite characters in this series, but they are sure in the Top 10. You wouldn't think that ruthless killers could make for such a mushy but dirty read, but this hopeless romantic has been hooked for a while now! Can't wait for the next one!!!
It’s always great when an author lets you revisit and catch up with characters you love and miss. Avril hit it right on the mark with this one. It was the perfect catch up session with Reggie and Is. I love that Is wants to be more open to loving his man. Those two deserve it.
I want to thank you for this addition to the series. I really enjoyed catching up on Israel and Reggie life. And, was happy to see that Reggie's mother accepted and forgave Israel. I'll be looking forward to see how they made out in their new home, and catching up with all the others.
d the love they have for each other is is tough but steadfast. The hottest sex on pages. Reggie could be the love of my life. He s hot honest caring and a good son. Don't miss any of this series. Her best.
The love between these guys really shines through. And yes...all their friends and family are still a hot mess and intrusive as ever...lol...quite a ride and unexpectedly heartwarming ( not a word you usually associate with this gang,)
So Is and Reg are my fav couple 😍. I was delighted to see they still cabin alone. Avril is very good at giving us what we want and need when it comes to the boys. This was a great read, just what I needed!!! Well done Av as usual.
The Run the Town books are everything. As a Caribbean girl myself the vibe, food and music in the books hit home. I do hope Izek and his new found relationship is getting his own book. It would be so good with you a the helm.
I liked Reggie and Israel story and enjoyed this extended version. These two how they started out and how they fell deeper into their relationship is great. Enjoyed this short and getting more of a glimpse of some of the other characters.
The only thing I didn’t like is that Israel was right: he did F up. And it almost costed them greatly. He should’ve listened to Reggie in the first place. Izek’s (the nephew) story was kind of left on a hanger, but everything else I enjoyed.
A confusing one. Seems like I missed Israel's original family reunion and his beef history with the other characters. It wasn't mentioned in their original book. Maybe it was mentioned in other books, but still...
