Wanted #3

Forever Wanted Part One

Rate this book
What is it they say about best-laid plans?

Mine were:

To get away
To clear my head
To take care of number 1

That lasted up to the point when I had to swerve my truck to avoid her. The runaway bride.

I tell myself:

This is not my problem
Remember your plan
She might be beautiful, but she's clearly a disaster - I don't care.
The words rattle in my head
My gut twists

I already know it's too damn late

It takes a fraction of a second to stop my truck and haul a u-turn.

Change of plan
Trust my gut
How wrong can it be?

Forever Wanted is Pink and Buttercup’s story and whilst it’s part of a series, in my opinion it can easily be read as a stand-alone.

I have to say, this is my favourite book in this interconnected series and that’s due to the wonderful characters and their hugely engaging personalities. Although he’s rather grumpy towards Buttercup at first, rather unwarranted if you ask me, we soon see Pink’s kind nature emerge. He’s still the strong, tough former Navy Seal, and certainly no doormat, but he’s respectful and considerate. All in all, the full package.

Buttercup is fabulous. Quirky and funny but also rather naive and unworldly, she’s found herself in a situation where she feels she has no alternative but to sacrifice her own happiness in order to save everything her grandfather holds dear. She’s a real contradiction and I loved that about her. On the one hand she’s intelligent, strong and feisty but on the other she’s become rather beaten down. Her wishes and needs have been swept aside and she’s frequently overshadowed by the more forceful, outspoken and frankly quite vile characters around her, to the point where she’s become resigned to her fate. However, I loved the way this doesn’t stop her chipping away at Pink until she uncovers the sweet man behind the emotional walls he has erected. His charming, down to earth ways have her considering that maybe there’s an alternative to the life she thought was mapped out for her.

I loved the banter between these two, which is hilarious. I like that neither of them are perfect and on the surface they’re an unlikely couple. They do say opposites attract and maybe they’re just what the other needs. The steam factor is not as high as in other books I’ve read by this author, but for me, it was just right. Don’t get me wrong, these two certainly have heaps of chemistry, it just takes time to get there but once they do, oh boy do they heat up the pages. Who knew Pink was such a romantic.

I really enjoyed this lovely, funny, sweet and charming story and hope we get to see more of this couple in future books.

I loved the characters in this one. Especially, Buttercup and her sunshine personality. I was hooked from their first encounter. I'm glad Link finally got his HEA. This series keeps getting better and better.

I also loved the prequel to book four. I highly recommend this unusual but delightful series.

This book ticks a few boxes for me of books I don't usually read, runaway bride and duets, but I can never pass up a book by Ms. Palmer. I am so glad I read this! I have always had a soft spot for Pink and was so glad he got his story. I can't wit for more with book 4 coming soon!

This is the final book in the forever series and it was amazing, I simply couldn't put it down once I started reading it!
If I'm honest I'm disappointed that there won't be any more books in this series but I'm sure Dee will come up with a new series to keep me happy.

Now this is the story I was waiting for! Pink has had my attention since book one. He had a story to tell and I’m glad he got his chance in the spotlight. This book isn’t as long as the other ones but it does make an impact. Pink has set off on his own to have some alone time. Just a chance to clear his head and figure out what it is he wants. He wants what Charge and Finn have that deep lasting love. On his mind clearing road trip he sees a vision on the side of the road stranded in a wedding dress. Pink being the gentleman he is stops for her but keeps her at a distance. Buttercup feels obligated to save the family farm by marrying a douche named Kurt. They grew up together and she tolerates him but he has a hold on her and she has resigned herself to her fate. Pink and Buttercup aren’t expecting each other and they find it hard to let go.

My heart broke for Pink when he heard Hopes news. He knew in his heart it wasn’t real but he’s a believer in love. I liked that he stayed true to himself and really tried to keep Buttercup at a distance. Yes her real name is Buttercup. I love The Princess Bride so I thought it was cute. I mean I do have a tattoo that says As You Wish on my arm. This particular book isn’t so sex driven as the others and I liked it. Although I noticed a theme with every book and that is carrying these women around and taking a trip downtown if you get my drift. All in all sweet book with some steam. I can’t wait for the next one.

Another wonderful instalment to the Wanted series.

In this book, we get to follow Pink, whilst out on a road trip to help clear his head, after recent events. It whilst on this road that he recuses a damsel in distress, going by the name of Buttercup. That is as much as I’m going to say about the story, don’t want to spoil it for the reader. Let’s just say, Buttercup changes the direction of Pink’s road trip of discovery.

There is some great humour between Pink and Buttercup, that had me laughing out loud on several occasions. Buttercup is such a quirky, funny, country girl, with a selfless heart, really love her character. And Pink ...swoon! All the alpha’s in this series are seriously hot and lovable, but I loved seeing a real soft, adoring side of Pink. Just loved him! The chemistry between Pink and Buttercup is more or less instant, even though they are both trying to ignore, and sit in denial. The steamy encounters between the two, are just that ...smouldering! I love a story with a little pull and tug ...will they won’t they? They are so adorable together.

I love this author’s work, and this is yet another, really well written romance from this her, Ms Palmer certainly knows how to get you hot under the collar, but still deliver a wonderful story.
I recommend that you read the other two books in this series first, to fully enjoy Forever Wanted.

This book is such a cutesy story and one really fitting for these two characters. This book rewinds in time a little to the point where Pink leaves to have time on his own and fills in all the gaps that happened while he was away and brings us back up to date to when Buttercup landed on his doorstep in her wedding dress.

I started to feel annoyed with Pink in this part as he was rude, arrogant and just plain hostile. I didn't really feel Buttercup had done anything to warrant such behaviour from him. She was such a sweet and naive character and I just love the country bumpkin in her, I even found myself using a country accent in my head for her dialogue! As the story progressed Pink's walls started to come down and we saw a more softer side to him, one that we saw in book one as he finally allowed Buttercup in.

Buttercups road to true love was not all plain sailing and a few times I wanted to slap her and tell her to wake up and smell the coffee! With every story there has to be a villain to really get the emotions stirred up into a frenzy and this story gave us a character to fixate hate on and channel our anger! so many occasions my heart was in my mouth! I'm glad Pink has now found his HEA. I would like a glimpse into their future which I hope is coming with pt 2

I liked some parts of it but I didn't like others. It was a somehow weird but also nice kind of story.
'I left home to get my head straight, not mess things up even more.'

This book started out not too bad. I quite liked how refreshing and somewhat different it was, but I didn't like where it was headed. The ending left me hanging because it was just too abrupt for the story to end, without a real HEA, like closing the door on someone in the middle of telling a story.
'I know I lied, but the truth is, I've never allowed myself the luxury of being honest.'

Kurt's family planned Buttercups life without giving her any say in it. It was horrible to watch to be honest and not something I would have expected to happen in such a small town. I really didn’t understand how nobody seemed to care. How could this family fool everyone?! Kurt handled his fiancée as if she was a puppy to be trained. He was an asshole and his family was ridiculous. They were such arrogant pricks.
'My first impressions are tatters, and my second impressions seem to be going the same way. She's not crazy, and she's not a pampered princess. She looks like a goddess, has the heart of an angel, and she's tough.'

Buttercup was quite the bubbly person. It started out fun and I liked it. Pink seemed a bit broody which I wasn’t used to from his character but considering his turmoil feelings after Finn and Hope it was understandable. I always liked him. He was a sweet hero and helped Buttercup out in time of need. She was a cute girl but as soon as I met Kurt I did not at all understand how she managed to be with him for so many years. How did nobody see him for what he really was? And no matter her big sacrifice, I didn't get how Buttercup didn't draw the line at certain things her fiancé did. He stomped all over her and it was like she didn't care. I couldn't believe that he was any different in all the previous years so how did she manage to be with him for so long? I also didn’t like what she did with Pink because it was not at all fair to him. She had Pink wrapped around her little finger from the first moment on but it didn’t give her the right to be so selfish.
'Even in the state she's in, the ordeal she must have experiences to be where she was when I picked her up, dressed like she is, she still manages to look like a breath of mountain-fresh summer air.'

Heads up to all the grammar fanatics, there were a few typos in this book. But for me that was not what bothered me most and I think I explained my issues plenty above.

Omg. Dee Palmer is a genius and mastermind at writing stories that involve humor, hilarious banter, character names and situations, and overall romance. The stories and plot she has developed will have you rolling and wiping your eyes in the next minute. Her sense of humor is portrayed with this book as well. It is Intriguing, funny, sexy and lovely all in the same breath. It will leave your heart lighter and you will feel relaxed afterward. The author has created a must read in the wanted series with this book!!

Pink and buttercup (I would love to know where these names came from!) meet in a situation that you cannot even imagine. Their story develops and situations continue growing out of control. These two have it all between them. Their chemistry, whether they want to admit it or not, is off the charts. Humor truly can be the best medicine during trials in life. You will fall in love with this couple as you turn the pages and learn more. A must buy from this author!!

Pink decides that he needs to go on a road trip to get his head together, when he sees a woman in a wedding dress on the side of the road. At first, he keeps driving, but then he turns around, and decides to pick her up which will change to course of his life. Buttercup is a woman about to marry her High School sweetheart, but while trying on her grandmother's wedding dress, it sets her off, and she decides she needs a day off, but while driving, she comes upon some trouble, which leaves her on the side of the road in her wedding dress. And while Pink keeps trying to let her know that he doesn't care, somehow, she gets past his walls, and he ends up staying at her Grandpa's farm as he learns that she's 100% selfless. They have chemistry, and there's definitely some big drama, as Kurt the groom is a giant douche. And with the ending being so abrupt like, I certainly hope there's more to this story because I NEED more! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

REVIEW - Forever Wanted (Part #1) - Dee Palmer

5 Stars

Reviewed by Vivienne Kauffer

Although this is Forever Wanted, part 1, I highly recommend you read Wanted and Wanted Too, the two books that precede this one. Although this could be read as a stand-alone book, you’d really be missing out on all the more intricate details within the characters and their relationships with each other.

Pink’s story was certainly anticipated with trepidation. For such a large, tough man, he’s hurt and in search of answers.
His journey is certainly a whirlwind and the book is fairly fast paced too. There’s the ultimate anti-hero for you to hate and create drama.

Dee Palmer has a knack for drawing the reader in with her characters’ relationships. They're all likeable but not perfect. The chemistry is palpable and it keeps you turning the page.
I’ve loved all three books so far and am delighted to see that Tug’s story might be next.

An emotional but light read. Highly recommend!

This is book 3 of the “Wanted” series and so far, my favorite!
I bought this book because I absolutely loved the first 2 books. One of the characters that I got really attached to was “Pink”, In my opinion, he was just a real down to earth, animal loving, dreamy kind of a guy. Forever Wanted part 1 is his story.
Pink has taken off from his home in Southern California, on a road trip to try and find himself, clear his head and spend some much needed alone time to figure out what he‘s really looking for. Any sort of company, especially a damsel in distress was the last thing he needed.. but when he actually has to swerve his truck to avoid hitting “Buttercup” out in the middle of nowhere’s-ville Texas, Everything changes...
With just the right amount of all the feels, this book was full of surprises and intrigue. A wonderful way to wrap up this particular part of the series. I Can’t wait for book 4.

Pink (the guy) and Buttercup (woman, not horse) meet when Pink picks her up on the road in her wedding dress. They have an instant attraction that she has never known before. Nothing can happen because she is still getting married. Her fiance is a jerk and she knows this but she believes she is marrying for the right reasons. Pink finds out first hand how the fiance is a jerk and tries to tell Buttercup but she runs away. She goes to her fiance. When she finally figures out she wants Pink has left town. She goes back to tell jerk the wedding is off but the fiance is forcing her to marry him. Pink has gone back to his wife. You have to read to see how it ends.

I was so excited when I got this book on my kindle. I have been waiting to read more about Finn and her men. I just loved the story. Pink is such a strong man with a heart of gold. He knows what he wants. Buttercup is a very giving woman. She wants to make everyone happy regardless of how it effects her. Is this just lust or true Love? How far are they willing to go to get what they want? Will it be enough? Their chemistry is off the charts. Pick up a copy and see for yourself. It is worth it! A must have for sure. I can not wait for part 2. I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance copy of the book from the author.

Heart broken. Confused. Needing to be alone to clear his head, Pink decides to leave. Then he spots a woman alongside the road. Barefoot and in a wedding dress. Is he dreaming?
Buttercup is sweet, innocent and has a heart as big as Texas. She's being forced to marry the rich guy in town against her will to help her grandfather.
When Pink stops to help Buttercup little does he know what's in store for him.
Forever Wanted is a beautifully written love story that will knock your socks off.
Pink and Buttercup are my favorite of the Wanted Series! The banter is hilarious!

This is the book I have wanted since the beginning! What can I say I have always loved Pink! And I'm so happy to have his story.

Pink sets out to almost find himself, he's heartbroken and confused. He wants what Finn and Charge have. Pink is also a lot hostile and kind of an asshole. But I do love a good asshole and he's always been my favorite.

Buttercup is sweet, damsel in distress, standing in the middle of the road in a wedding dress.

Pink and Buttercup's story is beautiful and full of heartbreaking moments. The pair are an unlikely couple but I absolutely loved their story. They are also by far my favorite couple so far.

Forever Wanted

Pink and Buttercups story!!

Such a sweet story that will have you falling in love and laughing out loud.
Pink is heartbroken and takes off to heal his broken heart. What he isn’t looking for is a woman walking on the side of the road in a wedding dress with no shoes. He doesn’t want or need any drama in his life but being the good man that he is he stops and picks her up. From then on just sit back and watch the story come to life. This is the third book in the Wanted series and I absolutely loved it. If you’re looking for a great romance story then go one click this book, you won’t be disappointed. And as always happy reading. 📖

I LOVE THIS SO HARD!!!
This is book #3 in the wanted series, and by FAR my favourite! Pink, what can I say about him, I am so in love with him it is unreal! He is the perfect mix of alpha and sensitive, and buttercup is the perfect match for him. Their road to happiness was long, gut wrenching, heartbreaking but eventually they got the happiness they deserved, and it was SO worth the wait, I can’t wait for part 2, to see what Dee has in store for that book, I will be (im)patiently for the next instalment

Buttercup and Pink are hilarious when meeting for the first time. The attraction to each other is sizzling. Buttercup is scheduled to marry rich boy, but not by choice. She then meets Pink, who is on a journey to find himself after being rejected by a woman he thought was ‘the’ one.
As Buttercup’s wedding day approaches, Pink heads home with a broken heart. Little does he know, a woman in a wedding dress is running down his drive and his life will change forever.

Dee Palmer is one of my favorite writers. She always leaves me wanting more of the story. This book, Forever Wanted: Part 1 was really good. I started out thinking Pink was so rude and kinda mean to Buttercup. But with Dee's talent, I fell in love ! I loved how they met and how it ended full circle. It was a sweet story with a bit of angst and lots of hotness. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

This is my favourite ‘Wanted’ book, it was poignant and lovely and at times had me in tears. Buttercup and Pink seem an unlikely couple and certainly meet in unusual circumstances but they are so good together and Daisy the fawn cements that common bond. The book comes full circle with Buttercup running barefoot in a wedding dress on a gravel road but the reasons are so different!

I’ve read a few of this authors books so couldn’t resist reading more.

Pink and Buttercup. Pink finds Buttercup on the edge of the road in her wedding dress. He doesn’t realise that stopping is about to change his life forever. Buttercup is sweet and selfless. I just loved her.

What a fabulous couple. The chemistry between them is hot. Can’t wait to read more from this author.
