Can a bear on the run finally trust her lion mate?

Another great shifter book from Cecilia Lane!! I absolutely LOVED Dash; he was so carefree and stubborn and determined to get his mate to finally open up to him. Colette is running from her stalker ex, trying to stay unattached to everyone and everything in an attempt to protect them from being used as pawns against her. But just as she is determined to face this alone, Dash is just as stubborn to push his way into Colette's life permanently as her mate. Colette had a great character arc filled with growth and acceptance, and Dash stuck by her side like glue, making her laugh and kissing her senseless the entire way through. I loved their story and can't wait for more from the Crowley pride!! ♡

Good

I was looking forward to this books since the first one dash is my favourite with his snarky and funny comments so this book was hoping to be amazing...
It was the storyline was good, what went down(no spoilers) was different to the first 2 books. The fighting was great to read. So I was pleased with that. World building and writing Style was fantastic like always but I have one problem with this book...
It lacked the dash humour I was hoping for and had read in the previous book. But other wise was a good read...

Two shifters obviously made for each other.
This book was an awesome read, I loved it and if you have read any of the others by this author you will too.
Dash's change around to become what he sees Colette needs him to be is wow.
I thoroughly recommend this story if you like it hard and rough, just like these two are.
Awesome read by a great author, really hope there is more to come.

Savage Chase is the third title in the Shifting Destinies: Lion Hearts series and does it ever grab the emotions, all of them, and wring the reader dry by the ending… a totally satisfying ending.

Dash and Colette are two of the most stubborn Shifters I think I’ve ever run into – and I’ve read a ton of Shifter Romance so that’s probably saying something huge. While Colette is protecting herself from what she sees as the mess a mate bond can bring into life, she’s also trying to protect those around her – especially the wild and crazy, completely sexy and her unacknowledged mate, Dash. Yet the trouble that follows Colette isn’t going to stop Dash from wanting to be with Colette far more than their agreed arrangement calls for since he knows she’s his mate even if he is afraid of that connection in his own way. Both want the other, both will do anything to protect the other from outside danger… and themselves. So, yeah, talk about stubborn.

Watching them both come around to a different way of thinking, as well as them changing their attitudes and actions for the one that is more important to them than themselves was an emotional, action-filled adventure. There is some bad, bad danger following Colette – and there are also some major twists and turns in Dash’s life right now, too. Savage Chase really brings these characters, and their dilemma alive on the page and will draw you into them as well.

We get the craziness of this pride of lions, as usual, the new ladies of the pride shine loud and clear – and we move the underlying events along a bit further. In all, I had a blast with Savage Chase and cannot wait to dive into Savage Craving.

SAVAGE CHASE is the fifth book in the Lion Hearts series. It is best to read all of the books in this series and in the order of release. The novellas are available only through the author’s newsletter (but they are free!).

Shifters are stubborn as a rule. These two are ultra-stubborn! This only makes it more satisfying when they succumb to their mating bond and accept with their minds what their hearts knew immediately.

I hate stalkers. Yes, I have had one and it’s beyond frightening. Colette first had to accept that she needed assistance. She also had to accept that in order to help herself, she had to set aside a long-held belief. Her stalker didn’t deserve her silence based on her species loyalty.

Dash’s life also has some twists and turns happening. As the nephew to one of the lions who tried to overtake Bearden, he feels a lot guilt.

Beautifully written with emotion, action, family, and sexy romance. I love this series and am eagerly awaiting the next book – SAVAGE CRAVING.

I really enjoyed reading this exciting, action-packed shifter romance. The plot is intriguing, well-written & suspenseful with some unexpected events and/or situations. The characters are well-developed & interesting with unique personalities & are quite realistic with their reactions and/or emotional feelings.
There is: a male lion shifter & cage fighter (Dash Cowley) is trying to convince (a bear shifter, Colette) to be his mate but discovers that another male (a wolf shifter, Jason) is stalking her & Dash is determined to claim & protect her, Dash’s half-brother (Seth), various kinds of shifters, drama, intrigue, suspense, secrets, family issues, mates, humor, attractions, action, adventure, memories, confrontations, obsession, danger, threats, abduction, fear, denial, rejection, jealousy, conflict, violence, love, some steam & a satisfying conclusion with a interesting ending that could be paving the way for the next book in this series. I would recommend this shifter romance to people who enjoy reading this genre, I really doubt that you would be disappointed in it.

I normally like to read stories back to back in these type of series; waiting for the last book to be published before starting the first. In this case, I read the first 2 books awhile back and at the beginning of this book, I struggled with all the names being dropped and remembering back stories. It annoyed me.

I didn't really like Colette. She was bitter towards her family and life. She was selfish. She kept stupid secrets that endangered those around her. She used Dash when she wanted and then tossed him to the side when she didn't.. Dash was patient and sweet but I felt he was a doormat.

I felt the romance was boring. They were already on and off again f buddies. There was no first meet or really any chase :( Between the lacking romance and Colette, I didn't love the story so skimmed a lot.

Side notes: Why didn't Colette call on her inner bear to protect her? Supposedly she's s/b a tough cookie...... Also shifter books need more than just bars, fight clubs, and muddin for fun. Gets old..

The Crowley boys are here again with their 3rd story in this series. Now we have Dash and his so far unsuccessful bid to win his forever mate Colette. All is not sweetness and light and Colette ignores the mating call with all her independent instincts. Poor Dash has to fight battles on two fronts: his lion and his almost mate. Colette hasn't had a great history of mating love since her father lost her mother and allowed himself to be swallow up like a poison over his loss. No sir, she wasn't going to let that happen to her or her soul. But she forgot just how determined Dash (and his lion) was. These Crowleys are a tough pride of shifters and no one gets in their way of claiming, loving, and protecting their mates. And here is the story to prove that point. I was given an ARC of this 3rd book and this is my voluntary review.

When I 1st read this b4 it came out I didn't think who she was until I started reading this. I'm really surprised how stubborn she is and who she's related 2. I wonder why cash doesn't like 2 use his real name 4. But it's really good that he is funny, fun, knows how 2 great a person like when 2 push and when 2 back off. He shouldn't take shot out on his bro cause it's not his fault but at least they can hopefully become friends and family if they can talk about things. At least his bro is trying. It's sad that sum men r assholes and refuse 2 take no 4 a answer. But things in his imagination spirals out of control but innocent people hurt cause of him but dash knows what 2 do when things get tough. He's awesome!!

Dash is a lion shifter who has identified his bear shifter mate, Colette. But Colette is an independent woman who doesn’t want to be in a mated situation, especially when she watched what happened to her father when her mother died. So she pushes Dash away. Poor Dash is going crazy with his lion who is ready to claim his mate! Further complicating things is the fact that Colette has a stalker she can’t get rid of and is being threatened.

One thing Colette finds out about Dash is that he won’t give up. When he sees his mate in danger, there is no better protector than a determined lion shifter! Will they resolve their stand-off? Will Colette give Dash a chance to prove to her that she can trust him to be a strong and loyal mate for her?

The third book in the series and the suspense and action continues! Dash has been waiting for Colette for years. She just comes back for short visits and they have sexy times together but Dash knows Colette is his mate, no matter that she is a bear and he is a lion. Colette is being stalked by a wolf shifter who says she is his mate. Then he kills her human's neighbor's cattle and Colette is now in trouble but she was only try to stop her stalker. Colette is feeling very cozy with Dash but then she is kidnapped by her stalker. Dash must get to her in time to save her for them to have their happily ever after.

Fun loving joker Dash shows his true self in this second (third, fourth) chance love story. The Crowley Pride books have been a delightful surprise. While reading the Black Claw Ranch books the Crowleys came across as uncivilized and undisciplined but mates make even the wildest lion purr. This well written falling in love story has just enough action and takes us through all the “feels” while immersing us in an enchanting paranormal world.

Secrets that Colette is keeping from everyone maybe the thing that puts everyone in danger. The storyline hits home for many readers. If you have stalker triggers keep in mind that it's a story. This story is a wonderful addition to the series.

I think Dash is my all time favorite "pride" character out of all the books I have read so far. He is daring, yet mild and funny when he wants to be. Its hard being denied what fate intended for you to have, but time will tell what will happen. Dash gets a bite of reality and well you really need to read this book to see how all this unfolds. Nail biting the entire way through.

Loved it!! Full of action, drama, suspense and danger. Lots of back and forth between Colette and Dash. It kept me reading non-stop until I finished it. This is one of a series I think. I have read about the others in the book and their stories. Great read!! I highly recommend this title, you won't be disappointed. Very imaginative and creative. One of Cecilia Lane's best.

A shifter romance with plenty of all those unwanted families that you have to live. Dash has known who his mate is for awhile. He has waited and waited for her to finally realize it. But it seems Colette is always running away. But this time when she runs she runs to him and her family. Her bear recognizes his lion but the human part of her is very stubborn. Both of them will have to have some sense knocked into them and even then it may not be enough.

Dash was an amazing character with the patience of a saint for the woman he knows to be his.
Collette is the stubborn character who fights what she knows to be the truth.
Part out of self preservation and then to protect those she loves.
The story had depth and I fell into it very easily.
With that said, there is plenty of action to keep your attention along with a great cast of players.
I thoroughly enjoyed this read.

Because of Collette's stubbornness to seeking help, she was almost mated by a tyrant. She knew the wolf was stalking her but she refused to tell anyone. Dash knew Collette was his mate and despite her denying him, he wasn't about to give up especially with another supe stalking her.

This story is about Dash, possibly the most easy-going of the pride. Although a drifter by nature, he would happily settle down if Colette would give him a chance. Sadly, Colette is determined to avoid commitment.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved Dash and his irreverent nature. I loved Colette's independent spirit. I loved the brawling feral lion pride.

Wow this was good. Long but good. Dash the smart mouth Lion that just can’t seem to keep mouth shut long for his mate Colette. Colette had her own secrets and was afraid her parents failure would affect her being a good mate plus she had a stalker. Dash didn’t give up on her. Very good read.

Cecilia Lane writes the best shifter books, without a doubt. The story pulls you in, with action and romance. And does not let you go until that last page turns. Highly recommend this book, and the series
