I wanted to read something short and sweet - and it was definitely it!
Was is also ridiculous to no end? Hah, yes! I guess it's a given with this kind of insta-everything.
But it was also deliciously dirty, with a dash of Daddy-kink and well written, so 3,5 stars it is. Even though I liked the first one more, I still want to know what happens in the third book.
Nice hot read for in-between.

Not sure how I missed this one out but i'm glad i read it! as usual, this novella is filled with loads of steamy and sweet moments with a dirty mouth hockey player and a badass showgirl.
oh and can i just say, i totally lost it after reading this..

This one was so close to being my fav of the year so far. First off, loved that they were both virgins & they were both vulnerable in their own way. Aiden was told to better his image by going in a reality show to see friends toss their friends who are worse bakers. And Aiden Is wanting to enjoy and get this over with. But he is sprung when he meets Lola a dancer from Las Vegas who on the show. And now he wants to make her his and keep her.
As for Lola she was tossed on the show because her mean girl dance mates are well bitches.. and she caught the eye of hockey brute Aiden. But she tries to keep a distance because her boss is a dick and holds power over her life.. and sorta blackmailed her so she cant leave that vegas life.
That doesnt stop Aiden from claiming his girl now he gotta show Lola he would do anything for her.
Last book is a firefighter who is a goof ball and Quinn ;)

Aidan is hot, assertive and dominant. Yet he has this sweet, sensitive side that also fits him perfectly. You could tell he was a virgin but he was just the sexiest and most confident person in bed with the right woman—Lola.
Lola is an 18 yo Vegas showgirl who happened to take the wrong job and meet the wrong people. Some mean girls nominate her for a cooking show where bad cooks are basically embarrassed on live t.v. Lola is not about to let anyone see her shake or crack under the lights so she puts on a tough face and unknowingly entices the hothead hockey player who's there to judge—Aidan.
Lust and love at first sight, but the good part comes from the steamy scenes where Aidan and Lola explore each other for the first time. It was sweet, it was hard, it was hot.

Both heroine and hero are virgins in this one. I don’t typically pay attention or feel some type of way about Alpha males but Aidan WORKED for me. He’s this big manly hockey player but he freaking WORSHIPPED Lola, which was nice and sexy as hell to see.

I adored and devoured this novella! Lola and Aidan were great together but I have to say that Aidan was the star of this book. The way he worshipped Lola had me fanning myself. I love me a good alpha male and he took the cake! The dirty talk was amazing and I’m pretty sure this will be my favorite out of all three novellas.

i thought this story was very interesting. we only saw a little bit of the baking show which was okay because i’m not sure where the plot would have gone if the baking show had more appearances in the story.
our hero is dead set on marrying and impregnating the heroine as soon as he lays eyes on her. he was suspended from playing hockey for a little while because of a fight he participated in and to make everything smooth out his assistant makes him one of the judges at a baking show where he meets the heroine. every contestant on the baking show was set up by their friends or family members so they will be embarrassed on tv. the heroine was set up by her coworkers (she’s a dancer in Las Vegas) her ‘friends’ were jealous of her since she received a promotion and they didn’t so they set her up.
we see some push away from the heroine. her boss from las vegas “owns her” (not sexually but in the work related aspect) and makes the heroine dependent on him for money. he makes threats against her parents so we can see why she was pushing away the hero.
i won’t give every detail of the story because i know some people don’t like spoilers lol

Hockey player judge of reality baking show falls instantly in love with red haired showgirl contestant. She is a virgin, as is he. She can sexually heal him so he is less aggressive on the ice.
