An unexpected favor has the potential to blossom into something real leaving Reagan with the burning question, Won’t You Be Mine. ** Please keep in mind this novella is intended to be a short story**
So this was cool. Doesn’t really give valentine day activities. I can tell if this was a longer book it would be even better. The main characters already had an eye for each other and in a longer book they could build more. Then we would get to see their life and paths grow. I love the mmc background story and wanting to make something of himself. Also that he displayed manners. I can’t stand when someone has no manners. Like who raised you? lol. All in all a good book.
The author said it will be a quick read and that it was. Shouldn’t really have to be explained because we know by the page length. However, a book being short doesn’t mean it can’t be good. So if some things were cut out i would have given it a higher rating.
This was a nice, short read. Reagan and Javonte had good chemistry, I'm surprised nothing popped off before this. I loved Javonte's candor and all out sexiness, he was a man about his business not taking for granted the second chance he had. Although I was definitely side-eyeing his dealings with his ex.😒 I liked that Reagan proceeded with caution with her feelings concerning Javonte. They were very cute together and they had the promise of something really solid. Definitely a good story!
I like the fact that Javonte and Reagan were already acquaintances and were lowkey attracted to each other so they didn't mind exchanging favors with each other. That first date night though🔥🔥 I'm glad that they click so well together and hopefully they'll explore the possibilities of what they can become beyond this wedding weekend.
I know it's a novella...but this one felt incomplete. I needed more. What happened after the wedding? Summer? Buck? Feels like we wasted a bit of time explaining characters that didn't fully participate in the story. And WHY did the couple work? What was their draw to each other?
This was so cute. Reagan was getting on my nerves, pushing Javonte away so much, but he managed to break her down. She deserved love and I'm glad he refused to walk away from what he wanted. I really enjoyed this. Can't wait for the next part!
Absolutely loved this book from start to finish. So happy Reagan finally found love. She started off as a hopeless romantic and ended up with a newfound love. Can’t wait to read more about Javonte and Reagan.
This short Valentine love story was amazing two people are connected and afraid to tell one another. Until one is forced to an Valentine day wedding the day to express love.
This novella was flowing well in the beginning but after that the author must’ve realized she was writing a shorter book and meshed everything all in at once towards the ending. Javonte and Reagan were not likable characters neither.
Kaylyn, you did it again, girl! The perfect Valentine’s Day novella. Just enough amount of lust, sassiness, and cuteness. Short, sweet, and to the point. Loved the characters dynamic and the way they fed off each other.
This was a cute little love story ❤️ Raegan was getting on my nerves though reading too much into her little situation with Javontae before it even started.
Reagan had every reason to be guarded, cause that type of betrayal she went through with her ex and ex-bestfriend wasn’t easy to get over. Her ghosting Javonte after their first date had me smdh, cause she knew after that night that she was really feeling him, but tried to pretend like it was nothing. At the same time I also understand her apprehension cause she saw what I saw in him when Summers name was mentioned 😔.
Javonte was something else. His honesty, assertiveness, sexiness, vulnerability, his swag, he was just something💙. He was feeling the hell out of Reagan, and her asking him to do her that favor gave him then chance to truly get to know her and show her how a real man treats a lady. He recognized that his body in so many ways still belonged to Summer, no matter how hard he tried to fight it.
That Summer was relentless🤣. She was addicted to that🍆😜🤣🤣🤣
I truly enjoyed the story, just felt incomplete at the end 😔. I needed to see how he handled Summer after his weekend with Reagan, and them possibly making things official. Was Reagan gonna keep that same energy once they returned to their regular lives, or ghost him again because she’s thinking of her past, and second guessing if he’s over Summer🤔
This was short and sweet!Javontae and Regan were a cute lil couple now her boogie cousin got in my last nerve! Wish it was longer and there was more to the story for them.
