PRIME RIPPED was written by USA Today Bestselling & Multi-Award Winning Author Siera London
Ramsey Tadeo Women love me, especially my body. I'm hard and ripped in all the places they appreciate. Getting laid was never a problem...until Lucy Layne. She thinks she's too old for me...GTFOH. I have three days to change her mind. And just like I learned in the Army, failure is not an option.
Lucy Layne Ramsey Tadeo is a player. At forty-seven, I'm too old to let myself get played...again. But, when he looks at me, I feel a connection my traitorous body won't ignore. There's a part of me tempted to play his game.
They both are keeping score, but who will be the first to change the rules?
-- Note: Read Book 1, Whipped, Book 2, Thick Cut. The characters in the previous two books including Messy Mandy make cameo appearances. Prime Ripped is a IR, BWWM, older woman younger man romance with a HEA.

I’m sure I am in the minority with respect to this book. Out of the gate, it was just too vulgar and sleazy. I couldn’t imagine any man talking to me like that. Maybe the fault is mine-I should have downloaded a sample first. I love really hot, steamy romance. Sometimes I read erotica. But this book is something else entirely. I am abandoning this book for now, though I doubt my mind will change.
P.S. Read it to my husband, and you know what? He laughed his ass off. Oh well . . . .
I am sooo in love with Ramsey!!! He is an arrogant, lustful alpha male with a face and body that backs up his attitude. However, just like the holes under his tattoos, there is more to see there. He is kind, romantic and thoughtful. The man is totally in love with his ‘Dimples’, the name he gives Lucy.
Lucy is likable. She is a successful business owner and mother of an adult daughter. She is also a great daughter, but her mom does not reciprocate. Being shamed most of her life for getting pregnant as a teen has affected Lucy’s self-esteem. She shows that the first time she and Ramsey are intimate.
I think that was the scene that solidified my love for him. The man didn’t care about her extra tracks of hair, nor the extra rolls that made her jiggle. In fact, he loved her because of her flaws. He didn’t disappoint when it came to that fire in the bedroom either. Bruising the morning after... really Ramsey? Yeah, I liked that part.
This was a quick read, but didn’t skim on the live story developed within. Kudos S. London. I am looking forward to the rest of Season 2 of The Lunchtime Chronicles!
Age is just an obstacle to find you way around. Lucy and Ramsey find themselves mixed in more than just a short term weekend fling. Lucy had a lot of old baggage that needed to be straightened out. Ramsey had his coping mechanisms altered by a year and a cougar.
Against a friend's non-recommendation, I ventured into this story and made it as far as chapter three before it became a DNF. MC's bragging of his sexual prowess would have held appeal if it had been more in the humour vain. Second read by this author which also is my last.
Younger man and older woman, Ramsey has been lusting after Lucy for about a year. They meet up again and Ramsey makes sure he does not lose out on the chance of being with Lucy. Emotions get involved and Ramsey, the hit it and quit it guy, falls for the girl. Some real issues are portrayed and the nasty was right on point. I liked it! 3.5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟
I love when man whores are blinded-sided and fall in love with the one woman who will have their heart. Ramsey with his sexy a** and panty dropping words wanted Dimples. Lucy is strong even though her path started out rough. Her mother got on my nerves. That woman was so despicable. Ramsey has proven himself that he can be a wonderful partner but not Lucy’s baseless decision during the incident. Siera, another great read. I am definitely liking the lunchtime chronicles series.
This book was entertaining form start to finish. Lucy and Ramsey story, although a novella gave me everything I look for in a good read. Highly recommend this book!
Being a woman of a certain age myself, I can very much relate to Lucy Layne's self-assessment. She is battling with accepting that she is getting older and has never been engaged or married but made a blunder early on in her life that her mother Dorenda can't seem to forgive her for. A mother is supposed to love and support her child but Dorenda is hell-bent on tearing Lucy down, never letting her forget her mistake. Lucy is no longer getting the attention of men like she used to when she was younger and at forty-seven she had consigned herself at being alone. She is stumped as to why Ramsey Todeo is sniffing around her. He's the consummate bachelor and ten years her junior. He's usually one and done but Lucy does not give him the time of day. She does not want her heart broken from sweet words and lies and cheating and promises un-kept like her daughter's father Corbin. Lucy is the owner and designer of her own bridal company Storybook Layne Bridal. She's an independent and successful businesswoman who has done very well for herself.
Ramsey is a retired U.S. Army Ranger and traveling artist from est Virginia. Some people get the opinion that he is a bum which is further from the truth. He's been after Lucy for a year and can't figure out why she keeps turning him down. After all, he's the "Ram Man" who's prime ripped fine and gets the attention of the ladies everywhere he goes. He's determined to bed her and as a retired soldier, failure is not an option. So when Lucy finally gives in because of her DNP (you'll see in the book what that means, I don't want my review to get kicked out), they have a connection so powerful, he feels like he has finally come home for the first time in his life. The more they are around each other the deeper they both fall in love to their surprise. But will their love survive a domineering Mommy Dearest 2.0? Will Lucy finally put her foot down and fight for her love? Well, she found out that she is miserable without Ramsey and fight for their love and their HEA, with a more understanding Dorenda. Ramsey finally gets his Dimples, a woman who fought for him for the first time in his life.
I enjoyed reading this book as it is my favorite trope, older woman, younger man. As an older mature woman, I too question my self attractiveness as I see my reflection change in the mirror. Even if it is fiction, at least older women can fantasize about their self-worth. OH... thanks to the author for introducing us to the cover model. I often wonder ho they are.Being a woman of a certain age myself, I can very much relate to Lucy Layne's self-assessment. You have to been in the mind frame for a little over the top arrogance for you to enjoy this story. Ramsey has arrogance by the bucketful and he will be the first one to admit he knows he’s a bit much. As you get to know him you realize there is a lot more to his muscles and tats there is a very caring, observant sexy man beneath all of the bravado.
Lucy has been burned before and was left to deal with the fallout from that risk. While she’s attracted to Ramsey, she is very much aware of his one and done reputation. Unfortunately due to her past and feeling now that she’s at a certain age that she thinks he’s playing with her.
Lucy decides to have a night of passion, but knows come morning that Ramsey will hop on his bike and ride away into the sunrise. Surprisingly he’s still there and she’s not unhappy. What follows is actually swoon worthy. While Lucy is trying to keep things “real” Ramsey is finding himself in pursuit of something he didn’t think he wanted. Ladies if a man comes back after a year and you didn’t give him any to begin with and he’s still trying to get your attention and he stays when he normally would leave, he’s yours, whether he knows it or not.
There is some drama from her mother and that’s really the only angst in the book. They are older, not necessarily wiser but they discuss things like adults and as such you get to enjoy the story and not have to deal with too much other stupid nonsense.

I'm not a huge fan of the age gap trope so take my review with a grain of salt.
What I did like about the book: - the heroine seems like a real person. She has personality, isn't perfect and has a bit of personal growth. - it is a quick easy read. It was relatively light and fun. There is a bit of conflict but I was always confident in an HEA - it features a African American female lead. I want more of this in my life. I wish Amazon would recommend more diverse books to me.
What I felt kinda meh about: - Ramsey's vocabulary. I don't mind a hero that talks dirty or has dirty thoughts Ramsey was over the top at times though. - I don't like it when men talk women into sex. It feels icky to me. - the huge focus on their age difference. I know quite a few couples with a fairly large age gap and it just seems like a non issue to me. I think that is why I am not a big fan of the trope. I just don't care as long as they are consenting adults.
If you pick this one up I hope you like it more than I did.
I can't believe I missed this book! But it was so well worth reading! Lucy believed she was unlovable and that no man would fight for her or stay by her side. Well she didn't know Ramsey. Ramsey was a true alpha in every way possible. That man went after Lucy hard core. And he didn't care one bit about the age gap. This story was such a pleasure to read. I loved the chase, the chemistry, the fire between Ramsey and Lucy. And talk about save the drama for your mama. Smh. I wanted to scream at Lucy to wake up and put your big girl thong on a live your life! Yes, this book had me in my feelings when it came to her mama. But sometimes you have to lose something in order for you to realize what you lost or let go. I was so happy to read how Lucy and Ramsey got their HEA. They both deserved all of it. Especially the surprise at the end! Awesome book!! Definitely 5 ⭐'s.
Older curvy woman & a totally hot younger man... She was sexy, smart & the mother of a married daughter who's father was not a feature, he'd done a runner as soon as he impregnated her mother. The age gap meant nothing to the younger man she knew through mutual friends. He wanted her & women never said no to him. She resisted his charm but he was determined & he'd never been challenged before. They had mind blowing sex & then she returned to her hometown. He realised, for the first time in his life, that he felt something deep for a woman so he pursued her. He won her over until her hateful mother sent him packing which she endorsed but soon came to the conclusion that she loved him. She tracked him down so they could find their happy ever after, swoon! I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
Ramsey the man-whore was plowing through a buffet of random, easy women until he met Lucy. Lucy the successful entrepreneur and single mother was not looking for a hookup.
It took one year of teasing, persuading, and demanding to get Lucy to open her legs to Ramsey for one night. But one hit was all it took for this nomad to get addicted and think of setting roots.
Great short read. However, I had issue with a grown woman accepting such mistreatment. Lucy is portrayed as being mature, stable, and strong, but crumbles when being belittled by her mom. Where did all that strength go? And after one short conversation her mother was able to realize the damage she’s been doing to her daughter and apologizes. Really? The conflict seems manufactured and the resolution was too quick.
first of all, I love the stories that carry over. so in the previous stories, we read that Lucy wasn't interested in Ramsey, sorta. he was too young for her, but she wasn't too old for him. and he wasn't ready to give up on the chance to be with her. she changed him, took his playboy card. he was no longer no them and leave them Tadeo. after one night, this man was whipped, he knew. she didn't, she hoped, but he did. and she had been hurt so bad in the past that she was on guard with her heart that she couldn't believe this young, sexy man could want her. flaws and all. he gave her her confidence back and showed her unconditional love. That was what she needed. what she deserved. and all her dreams did come true. loved it.
Sexy ex-soldier, street artist falls hard for older wedding designer and businesswoman
I loved that this book never used the word cougar for Lucy, due to the 10 yer age gap. Secondly, while Lucy and Ramsey clearly had chemistry, Ramsey had to work hard to convince Lucy to give him one night..... which became several nights.... until an HEA
Lucy was a confident mother and businesswoman, but poor previous relationships have destroyed her confidence in her womanhood. Ramsey has been attracted to Lucy since he first set eyes on her.
This book is full of hot and steamy sex, an unlikely couple, and family drama which culminates in a HEA with a nice twist at the end.
S. London thank you for not making Lucy a woman that soon as the heat rises she becomes mush. Uniquewords,LLC has recommended other lunchtime chronicles and this was a good one to add to the list. You took Ramsey and Lucy too souls living the single life not realizing until they came together what they had been missing. Dorenda needed the blessing out that Ramsey gave her because lucy should have done it along time ago but I think disappointing her mom back in the day was still stamped on her brain. I love all the other characters that help make this book so colorful
I hate women who talk down on themselves. Lucy language was crude. And letting her judgemental mom come between her and Ramsey was fucked up. But then again most of messy ass mandy friends I just can't get down with. And I don't like the fifth wall. It's not Deadpool. It doesn't work here. It takes you out of the story rather than enhance it. And the ten age difference was a non factor idk why the book summary made it seem like it was. You know a book isn't it when you can't wait to finish it from the first page. And incredibly messy ass mandy made me want to slap the shit out of her for that crass comment at the end.
Opening Their Hearts To Love - Ramsey had sworn off relationships due to his upbringing and would only settle for short-term flings. However, his mindset changes after his recent tryst with Lucy. Unfortunately for them, as they pursue a serious relationship, an interfering old busybody decides to create havoc in their relationship, which nearly cost them their happily ever after. This is a heartwarming and heartbreaking romance story, that will take you through a myriad of emotions, but leave you with a smile on your face at the end of the book. A definite must read book.
Although the book was short, it was well developed. The “conflict” felt realistic and I liked how the person in the wrong was the one taking the initiative to solve the issue. I wish the book was longer so we would have had a face to face between Ramsey and Dreama as well as more details on her pregnancy. At her age, it’s high risk and reading about the challenges and how she overcame them would have been interesting.
The chemistry in S. London's Prime Ripped was steaming hot. I love the sexy stories from The Lunchtime Chronicles. Ramsey and Lucy's chemistry was on fire and proved that age ain't nothing but a number. It was witty, sexy with lots of grown folks humor. I would highly recommend this story along with The Lunchtime Chronicles series and the other works of S. London.

S. London has another hit on her hands. I loved this story and wished it was full-length. Lucy and Ramsey were a dynamic pairing from the beginning. Ramsey got hooked from their first encounter and finally felt at "home". While Lucy found someone who actually kept his promises. Ramsey pursued Lucy ferociously and she could not escape his take-charge and loving vibe. Excellently written with a nice mix of sass and humor!
"For a chance to be with you...I'd gladly risk it all"...And Lucy and Ramsey did exactly that. Their inner dialogue gives you a wonderful perspective into their characters and you fall head over heels for them. It's delightful to see them grow into such a swoonworthy couple. Yes the sex is nasty and uncomfortable for me so again I had to skip over that. But pay attention to everything else because it's MAGIC! 💕
Ok i don't care for the way her mom treated her bc of something she did years ago she turned it around and become something any way thT should make her proud 🤔 and the fact that she chose her mom on Ram was crazy then she realized her mistake im glad it only took 5 days and no longer to get her mess in order to go find him and glad she finally got married and is having a baby second chance
Loved the match up of Ramsey and Lucy. Love that they were a little older, not 20 year olds. Love that she wss a real wonan with a real body and he loved that about her. Loved his backstory, player turned Grown up ready to love man. Thanks for the epilogue because usually I don't like how the story ends so quick, like to see what happens in he in the HEA. I really like books that are a little longer, but this story was balanced and to the point.
Another book I did not want to end. I love how real each character is. I can totally see them as real people living their best lives somewhere far away. Lol, of course I don’t know them but I’d like to. The chemistry is so steamy hot. And they’re so transparent, believable and grown up. No foolish or childish games. Real people falling in lust and finding themselves and love. It is beautiful. Oh my goodness, Ramsey is soooo sexy!
This was an emotional rollercoaster for me. I could understand the emotional pull Lucy was experiencing with her mother. Lucy like many Black women deal with the disappointment of their parents especially with mothers or mother figures in their lives. Especially when you make decisions that go against what that person wanted from you. Then add Ramsey into the mix, talking about the emotional drama. Still loved their relationship and how it developed.
… but the storyline and characters improved as the book progressed. This felt lukewarm. The beginning was slow and offered little to increase my desire to continue, but I hate not finishing a book. Some of the characters and storylines that make up this series have been hot… this one fell a bit short for me overall but a happy ending is always a pleaser.
Right off the bat you would la label Ramsey as an arrogant player who only smash and run. That is true about him until he finally gets his chance with Lucy who is a bit older than him. He falls hard before he even knows it. Then here comes her judgmental mother meddling in their business and almost ruined a beautiful thing. I was glad when Lucy put her mama in her place and made her apologize to Ramsey. 💘💘
Prime Ripped book #9 of Lunchtime Chronicles Series
I loved this story of Lucy and Ramsey. A year after they met, they are back in each other's lives again. The cat and mouse game got real, really fast. I was glad they got together, and didn't care who had anything to say about it, including her mother. That type of mother would've never been nominated for mother of the year. The age difference didn't stop them from loving each other. They got their happy ever after any way.
