This is a short story that falls after book 7 in The Texas Kings MC book series.
Kale and Terra had a whirlwind love story and now they are preparing for parenthood. Surrounded by family and friends, and having hit a few speed bumps on the way to their happily ever after, the two of them are excited to meet their baby. As with all pregnancies, it's a roller coaster ride until the very end.
Join them for a few days as one of our favorite couples brings their first child into the world.
I have enjoyed this series, actually all of her books so much that instead of using my kindle unlimited i have bought them all. The women in these books are amazing and the men 😋 mmm. Seriously though I get pulled into the book and the next thing I know I'm laughing out loud. Now that is an enjoyable way for me to spend my limited amount of free time. Many of the same characters are in each book and you get to see them as they grow. Kale & Terra's story is the perfect example. There is so much bad in the world, these books are a nice escape from that. Love , love, love these books. Can't wait for the next one. Thank you Cee Bowerman.
I LOVE these books...and I read a LOT of MC series. My new favourite author! There isn’t a character that I don’t absolutely love. But Kale and Terra are two of my very favs! I love when the h’s are total badass....and Terra Indeed’s kicks ass! Both story and character development are superb! My only complaint is editing- to tighten up accuracy and consistency ie: wrong names or details from previous books. But minor and likely due to my eye for detail and the rate at which I am consuming her books! The author has created a world in Rojo, Texas, that I can’t get enough of. I can’t wait for the next book!
I enjoyed this little novella, based around the birth of Kale and Terra baby. But I believe I should have waited to read it after book 8, John & Mattie’s story, there were a lot of things that I had no clue about in it.
Nice to catch up with Kale and Terra as they bring their little one into the world and do it in a style only these two could do. So much drama for the day, but it ended in the best way possible.
It was okay. A quick read that has Kale & Terra’s wedding and the birth of their baby and Sonny & Brenda’s baby.
I felt like I missing something though. There are references to a car accident and someone shooting at Terra but I don’t recall reading anything in the prior books about this. I thought I was going mad. I read a few other reviews and seem I’m not the only one.
Maybe the next book in the MC series sheds some light in which case why wasn’t this book done after that.
Also, I thought Drea was getting married on Valentine’s Day? Because she’s with the others and no wedding. Maybe I’m losing it!
Trust me both this book and Finn should be read AFTER Mattie & John. I spent this whole book trying to figure out why things didn’t make sense, I couldn’t figure out many many things.
Read Tucker, Mattie & John, then read Finn, finally this book. The reading order on Cee’s website are WRONG!
Also, if Cee sees this review, please let me or someone edit these books. I’ve found so many typo’s, wrong names, incorrect timelines etc! It’s not as prevalent in this book, but they are in all the books I’ve read so far.
Sweet super-fast read. It is weird, I have pretty much read all of this series now... but I feel that I have missed a lot of the background. When did all of the bad stuff happen? The shooting at Terra? The stuff with Jenna - not the car accident, the other stuff... when did that happen?
And - little confused. Drea and Tucker were getting married on Valentine's day... but Drea was with Brenda, Terra & Summer... then Drea & Tuck were at the courthouse watching... confused!!
LOL! The newest little Kings are ready to enter the 🌎!
This is not a stand-alone read, if you have not read the previous stories from Cee Bowerman, then this story will not make sense. It is written with a sense of humor and made me LOL a couple of times.
It is a novella following Terra and Kale for a few days prior to the birth of their child. There is still a surprise worked into it and a teaser for an upcoming story.
What can I say about this book...I freaking loved it. Kale and Terra are one of my favorite couples in this series and this novella didn’t disappoint. Love the Kings and can’t wait for the next book. As always it’s great to catch up and see what everyone is doing. Congrats Cee on an amazing book.
Watching Kale deal with a pregnant Terra had me smiling my way through this whole book. The hospital scenes with the family had me laughing so loud I woke my husband! Absolutely love this series! Keep writing Cee!! I don't even KU, I just buy your books now!
I really like this book but if you're one of those people who can't wait when you're given hints don't read it until the next 1 comes out I love Kale and Tara they're 2 of my favorites and let's not even forget Sonny and Brenda who add a lot to this book it's all about family and being there for each other totally awesome story
I absolutely adore anything written by this author. The characters in her novels are full of love and laughter & makes you feel as if you're a part of their boisterous family.
So go ahead and read a story about the Texas Kings MC. I promise you won't be disappointed🙂.
It was great to get a snippet about Kale and Terra. As always, tons of relatable moments and humor, with tons of depth and feels. I’m so glad the author decided to write this! This short story will make more sense if you read the rest of this author’s books in order, first.
I absolutely love this series, and this special novella was certainly no exception! I'm really looking forward to reading more from this series, and I hope to see them very soon. This is a definite must read book and series! I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author!
I gave it 3 stars because I've enjoyed the series so far. I was confused as all hell as to what was going on with some of the characters. I thought I had missed a book or two. It feels like this book should have come after the next book. Moving on to #8 and hope the things that were mentioned in this book get cleared up.
This book had me crying from page 1 . You really need to have read Kale's book to understand the significance of the stache burger. And the baby's name. If you haven't already go back and read Cee's books in her listed reading order. You will not regret it.all her books are amazing! There is drama, a few tears and lots of laughter.😍
What a great book. I love this couple, especially Terr's relationship with her brothers in law. Made me smile. Had me on the edge of my seat. A brilliant feel good book.
Thank you Cee, what a great surprise. Loved getting to catch up with our men and the ladies they love! Must read the other books! Can’t wait for what in store next. Cee Bowerman is a must read.
I love this book. I like how it ties the series together and you see the love Kale has for Terra. And he didn’t get freaked out over the birth! 😀😀 Can’t wait for the next one in the series to come out. Which will hopefully be soon...everyone needs to read this book!

Yes yes and yes!! Can never get enough Kale in my diet and when you combine all 4 of the brothers together it is a recipe for success. I was cracking up from the first page! Please don’t stop writing you are the Queen!
Loved this book! Cee just gets better with every story. Kale and Terra are expecting. She doesn't realize she is labor thinking they are Braxton contractions. Sweet story of the two.
Cee writes stories about people who you want to get to know. The characters are realistic, not the harsh alphas or simpering females that other writers fall back on. I am a fan and look forward to more stories in the future.
In this short updated book the babies are ready to be born as the next generation is here. Kale daughter and Sonny son. Love seeing everyone again. Need Clem and Daugetry book.
This was just the perfect read for Valentine's Day. It was filled with sweetness, family and lots of love! It has a dash of sexiness . Quick sweet read. I can not wait for the next book.
This is a sweet read that will bring a chuckle and a smile to your face as well as a very loud laugh. Enjoyed visiting with the Texas Kings family again. And got to welcome two new family members. Always a good read.
