At first he's just intrigued, but then he becomes infatuated with the person behind the art form and can't stop thinking about her -- wondering what she's like and how it would feel to actually meet her, and get closer.From a rather damaged and dull phase of his life, Cory moves out on a journey that connects him with several people, including the person who served as a model for that sculpture. But what he encounters is far from what he expects, and in the long run he discovers first-hand what Carl Jung, the psychologist/psychotherapist meant when he wrote, " A meaningful coincidence of two or more events, where something other than the probability of chance is involved."Cory finds himself on a journey of self-discovery, a 'hero's journey' if you will, and what he learns about himself changes everything -- not only how he understands himself and his profession, but how he can claim his personal future with integrity and passion.This novel challenges the reader to consider the vagaries and coincidences of life in a new way, so that his or her own sense of meaning is enlarged..
