The recipes in this books are so appetizing and fun! I was particularly interested in the savory vegetarian recipes, like the Veggie Wedgie vegetable pie.
When I checked the book out, the librarian was so busy looking at the sandwich on the cover that she had trouble finding the barcode. She thought it looked very yummy!

[could do without the mango and sesame seeds]

fresh ginger - green peppers - mild curry powder
turmeric - garam masala - coriander
all-purpose seasoning mix - pepper
scotch bonnet peppers - prawns - mango chutney
eggs - milk - flour - smoked paprika

[caribbean waffles]

pancake tacos (so weird its gross and neat)

flour - muscovado sugar
eggs - milk
tomato - red onions - pesto
limes - coriander - peppercorns
unsmoked bacon - avocados

[everyone wants pesto and maple syrup pancakes with wet diced tomatoes]
[loveable like a train wreck for me]

rudolph dogs (not a fan)

flour - eggs - mascarpone

---

I mildly like his strangeness
and 10% of his recipes ARE interesting
but i think 70% are boring or all out fruitcakey or plain junky

he tries too hard to be a fusion food clash - fad artist
and that isn't a good thing for michellin star places either

i'm merely impressed at what food he likes to eat
and to me this food is an enjoyable freak show, but his first book i think was much better

honestly the mac attack is the Pee Wee Herman of Macaroni Casseroles
cream cheese and salmon and dill
sweet potatoes and chorizo
feta and canned beans
chopped peppers and chutney
and crunchy tortilla chips for when i eat this in hell

some serious woo here

Not a diet cookbook, but definitely a live life with gusto one. Totally admit I got it for the rhubarb custard cheesecake recipe tho.
