If you like low-burning romance stories, you will love this one. It tells the story of Deena and Jesse. She is an Asian nanny with lots of medical bills to pay who quit her high-level education to care for her father. Jesse is a stockbroker who lost his wife some years ago and now lives with his son, Lamar.

This interracial, low-burning romance (you will not find a hot scene until past 60% of the book) is beautifully written and contains the perfect twists and dramatic elements to keep you reading without stopping. Totally recommended for love story readers.

A steamy, contemporary romance story.

I absolutely adored this story. Sexy, romantic and lovely. I don’t usually read this type of books, but I was surprised at how good this one was. Kept me turning the pages!

I found Deena to be a really strong and caring woman, which is something that I really enjoyed. Jesse seemed like an asshole at first, but with Deena’s help, he started to change little by little. His son, Lamar, is the most adorable child character I have ever read!

At first, I didn't like how the point of view changed with each chapter from Deena to Jesse, but I grew to like it as the story proceeded. It doesn't really cut away from the flow. Overall, it was a wonderful book and it's highly recommended to anyone looking for a good contemorary romance story!

These MCs drove me crazy with their stupid actions at times. But I can't deny the chemistry between them. The stock information at times got me confused because I am not a finance person, but Lamar's adorableness made up for it. A good romance read overall!

Hope

As much as it seemed like the fairy tale it translated the fairytale into real life situation and made it more believable. Rising from the tragic he faced in the past Jesse was able to find love helping him realign his life, to thrive again with help from an unexpected source. Thank you for his beautiful story author.

When Deena applies for a job as a nanny to Jesse Grant's son, she's unprepared for her reaction to her boss--and his reaction to her. Deena is seriously attracted to the dynamic African American Wall Street magnate, but his temper and his drinking are out of control. Jesse is mourning his wife's loss by verbally abusing everyone around him and diving mouth-first into booze on a regular basis. With Deena's help, Jesse takes steps to repair himself and his relationships, most importantly, his relationship with his son. Will Jesse be able to return the favor when Deena's own problems spiral out of control? This is a lovely story, poignant and life-affirming. My one problem (and it's a big one) is the serious need for the author to have an editor. There are issues with punctuation, with formatting, and with grammar that should have been picked up and corrected before publishing. While distracting, these issues only slightly detracted from a wonderful, romantic tale.

The Alpha Nanny is a delightful, romantic story filled with real life issues and the perfect amount of fairytale love.

Jesse and Deena are both struggling with their own personal demons when they meet. Even though their attraction to each other is obvious, as Jesse’s son’s nanny, it’s against the rules for them to date.

As they spend more time together, they help each other to become better versions of themselves. This is the sort of relationship I love, one where both parties become better people because of the other. Although I wished that the author spent more time on Jesse’s recovery from alcoholism, I though the topic was introduced well and I like the inclusion of AA meetings.

This book was a great read. I kept picking it up to see what happened next and I loved the HEA. I definitely recommend this to any fans of romance.

Good

The story was good with a dual pov. Held my interest and actually made me cry a couple of times.
There were some editing issues- missing/extra words, repetitive sentences, and incorrect punctuation. While distracting, these problems didn't take me out of the story too much.
Overall, I thought it was a good, emotional story.

She was what he needed to break free of his addiction and get back to real life. He dealt with some serious stuff and could not afford to lose it all over a drink. I'm happy that she was there for him and his son. They needed it a lot. She was able to see what was wrong and fix it for them. Yet She was blinded by her own issues to consider herself as needing help too. Its okay to reach that point of no return and pull back knowing that you are making the wrong decision. She did the right thing for everyone.

This is beautiful story focused on love and a second chance.
It is the type of story that clutches you at once and doesn't release you until you get to the end - then you find yourself pining over the fact that the book has ended.

I loved how the relationship unfolded so we could see these amazing characters grow in ways they never expected.

I couldn't get past some things. At the beggining, I was liking Jesse at all and I thought Deena was bad*ss but as the book progressed it was the other way around. He was there for her no matter way, trying to be around her, trying to help her, just really loving her. She, on the other hand, was always with a foot out the door. Like, I understand that she can't lose that job and all but there are other jobs and if she wanted help he would her give it too her, he told her he had too much money and didn't know what to do with all of it. She could had ask me and then promise to return it. There were so many options on the money front. But when they were discovered and she literally accused him of bwing at fault, I was done. He told her he loved all the damn time and did whatever she asked, she goes and breaks up with him when their relationship didn't have anything to do with her job. Jesse didn't deserve that, not after what he went through. And she rejected him twice and iniciated the their whole relationship but he was the one at fault. At least, she was the one that went after him, despite him forgiving her too easily. So yeah, I didn't like it as much as I thought I would because Deena's actions sometimes were such bullsh*t and she deserve to grovel for being so cold and hot all the time and breaking them up, hurting him in the process

Once again author Remy Marie delivers a fantastic story of romance. I always enjoy the conflicts presented in Remy’s stories and this one did not disappoint. I appreciated the slow build between the male and female leads and felt their chemistry and connection was earned.

Deena was presented as a strong and fierce woman and I loved how she stood up to Jesse. In return, Jesse’s anger throughout the first part of the book was understandable and I liked his evolution of a character as the pages turned.

Another great story added to my collection!

Jesse feels cheated by life. He seeks refuge from the loss of his wife at the bottom of a whisky bottle and with the business in serious difficulties, it is only the love of his young son that keeps him afloat. His anger begins to dissipate when he forms a special bond with Deena. She has her own demons to deal with and we follow their journey as together they search for happiness.

This steamy romance is filled with so much heart and soul! I really enjoyed it. It’s a forbidden workplace romance and I loved seeing how Jesse and Deena’s relationship evolved. There are lots of ups and downs, but it’s a beautiful story of loss, love, and healing. Thank you so much Remy Marie for the gifted copy!

A cute love story

This love story is sweet involving a widower billionaire and an unexpected nanny that doesn’t cower at his bark. I love the Mandarin vocabulary through the book. It’s a nice touch.

The nanny became something else.

She was hired as the nanny but became his saviour and his love. Remy Marie has written the best romance. She has given her characters a few things to overcome and they have done so with grace. I think you will love this!

I thought this was a sweet but sexy romance.
Jesse is a single father carrying a lot of hurt due to the death of his wife, and he is set on self-destruct. Deena comes into his life as a nanny to his son Lamar. She needs the job and the money the job brings to help at home. But, Deena is no walk-over. She is a fabulous character who is kind yet strong, determined, principled, focused. I thought her a well drawn character, definitely a match for Jesse, and boy did the sparks fly!
I loved the ending which is why I'm calling it a sweet romance because it hit all the right buttons. Yes it had plenty of sensual scenes, but the romance tugged at my heartstrings. beautiful.
