This episode of Kat’s story has taken on a decidedly darker tone as she seeks to regain her memories or make sense of her recovered memories. Kat’s journey has taken her from being a naive princess to a very astute individual seeking to make sense of her world. This series keeps getting better with each episode. I received an Advance Reader Copy and chose to provide this review.
The symbolism between the MC and the devil tarot card is truly present. Two forces pulling at the MC, with the outcome yet to be clearly determined. There will definitely be more to this storyline, and I think I have caught up to being in the pre release waiting game soon. I will keep an eye out for more episodes. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
Kat's story keeps shifting. The closer she gets to finding herself, the more decisions she makes that are unlike the self she can't remember. Can't wait to read the tower and see what kind of person she becomes when she leaves the cocoon she's trapped within.
I flew through this one, as it was intense, and I was hungry for things to happen. More and more truths are revealed, but still, again, not enough for her to piece all the pieces of the puzzle together.
