If football was a religion, then the stadium would be my church and the ball, my God. My name is Scott Strauss. Heisman winner and number one in the NFL draft. I lived and breathed football until the only girl I've ever loved stomped on my heart and replaced me with a rugby star. They say you don't realize what you've got until it's gone. I realized it, boy did I, but it was too late. Now she's living her happily ever after and I'm here busy becoming king of the gridiron. UNTIL one day, I'm knocked off my feet again. But this time, I don't know if I want to stand up. There's this woman who's smart, carefree, and beautiful. Our personalities clash but the fire in her eyes matches mine. Her name is Bridgette Cordello. And she's the only sister of the man my first love left me for.

"I write because I love it and for no other reason. The minute I stop enjoying it will be the exact moment I will stop writing."

Anne Leigh is a 30-something-year-old who refuses to let the calendar dictate her age. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Nursing. She likes to write about strong women and equally strong guys who grapple with their emotions when faced with something as intangible as love.

She lives in Los Angeles with her husband. With her crazy schedule, she gets frustrated at L.A. traffic and needs an escape to keep her sanity, which her characters provide.

She did not think of publishing her stories and when she finally did, she's truly appreciative of every, single person who found the time to let her characters become parts of their world.

She appreciates all the readers who leave kind comments/reviews on where they purchased the book because without them, all her stories would remain locked up in her computer.

Supernova is the next standalone book by author Anne Leigh. We first met Bridgette and Scott in Graphite (released February 2, 2018) however, Supernova is a standalone sports romance book.

Bridgette Cordello has grown up around beautiful and famous people. A beauty herself, she’s so much more than a pretty face. She has a beautiful mind. One that most would call photographic. She’s finally escaped her mother’s shadow and is enjoying college life in California. Scott Strauss is a famous quarterback who has always been dedicated to the sport. So much so that it cost him the one girl that he thought would always be there. Two years after the drama surrounding the relationship between him, his ex-girlfriend, Kara, and Bridgette’s brother exploded, he unexpectedly bumps into Bridgette. She’s that girl. That girl he thought he could be friends with. That girl that his mind wouldn’t let go. That girl that pulled at him in ways that no other girl ever has. She’s destined for success in academic and scientific circles. He’s destined for greatness in the NFL. There’s no way they can make it work. Or can they?

Supernova takes us on a crazy journey of love that overcomes all the typical relationship challenges, as well as the unconventional. And by the time “The End” rolls around, Bridgette and Scott show us that when love is combined with a will and a way, it truly does conquer all.

NICUnurse’s Rating: I’m a pretty big fan of this author’s writing. I love that she writes storylines that are REALLY out of the box. And she’s quite unapologetic for it, which I also love. Especially when it comes to sports romance books. And Supernova most definitely did NOT disappoint. As much as I loved Kieran and Brynn’s story (Love Untouched, 2013)…my favorite until now…I love Scott and Bridgette even more! They are two smart, successful people who never should work…yet they work beautifully. When everything seems to be against them, and they face hurdles they should never be able to overcome…they dig deep, figure out who and what is most important, and are willing to make the sacrifices needed to make what’s important…work. Another 5 star read from author Anne Leigh! Be sure to grab your copy today!

If you’re looking for a sports romance that will have you gripped from beginning to end, then you must pick up Supernova by Anne Leigh today. This has to be one of my favorite reads of 2018 so far!

Supernova is a standalone romance, but we did meet Bridgette and Scott in Graphite, which is Bishop and Kara’s story. Scott, is the “It” guy in the NFL, superstar Quarterback and the guy everyone wants to be. Bridgette is a college student with dreams of space, and a mind like no other. Two years ago Bridgette never called Scott back and a chance meeting puts them together again and everything changes for them.

I loved watching Bridgette and Scott’s story play out throughout this book. Watching them navigate their way through a new relationship, figuring out their feelings with one another, and Scott’s understanding of Bridgette not necessarily wanting to be in the spotlight and respecting that about her, but I truly loved when the time came, how Bridgette fought for what she wanted. These two are a force to be reckoned with, both extremely strong individuals with hopes and dreams of their own and extremely supportive of one another to fight for their dreams, but also for their relationship too.

Watching both of them also deal with their pasts, family’s etc. was amazing to watch. They were there for one another as they dealt with forgiveness (in some cases), moving forward, and mending relationships. As I said before, both of these characters were very strong and independent, but together they seemed to make the other one even stronger. They supported each others dreams, even if it hurt at times, and after reading this book I truly felt that love like this can and does exist.

I truly could not put this book down, and I loved reading every single word in it. I have adored Anne Leigh’s books since her very first publication, but I must say Supernova is her best work yet! If you haven’t picked this one up yet, go grab it today, trust me, you won’t regret it, and you’ll fall deeply in love with Bridgette and Scott!

Good read.

I liked this book but it was a little similar to the author’s other books. It was good though. The angsts were quickly resolved though. I do like that the characters were open with their feelings. One thing I didn’t quite believe was the h’s ex change of character. He was mean and wanted to cause a wedge between the H and h relationship. From what the h and her brother said Dex (the ex) character from the time he was in high school and now was selfish and self serving. So I’m not sure if I buy his change. I would recommend the book. The h, Bridgette, was a nice strong character. She was brainy and confident but she was very shy because of some trauma early in her life. I do like that she spoke up when she needed to though. The H, Scott, was a professional football player. I liked his honest admission of his feelings. Again, I liked the story.

I met Scott and Bridgette in Graphite is Kara and Bishop story. I want sure if I was going to like Scott but he showed his true self in Supernova. His love for Football took him to his dream job but when he got to know Bridge his goals in life started to change. Bridgette had her goals to, enjoy college life and to one day work at NASA as a astronaut. She didn't think anything would change but Scott showed her she could have all that and him in her life. These two had their challenges in their relationship but in the end Supernova was waiting to give them the world. AMAZING story. Grab your copy now.

Loved loved loved it!!!!! Your books get better and better. I love that it didn’t follow the typical story line of 2 people meeting followed by the insta love then the fight/ misunderstandings and they break up and then work it out and live happily ever after. I felt bad for Scott in your last book so I was happy he got his chance. So excited for the next one though.
