Adrien Charbonneau was a man slowly coming unhinged. A frenetic moth drawn to a beautiful flame, a wolf determined to devour his lamb, he was hell-bent on capturing his prey. Mia Alexander intrigued him, kept him craving more - more time, more connection, more of everything. His heart wanted to own her, possess her, claim her. But his mind told him that love hurt. It was risky, unkind, unforgiving. He had sworn off love. Until her. Mia Alexander was captivated. The intense lure of Adrien Charbonneau was undeniable. He fascinated her, kept her wanting more - more emotions, more connection, more of him. But the power struggles, the web of complications, and his icy exterior were taking a toll on her already tender heart. After the betrayal, she didn’t think she could fall in love again. Until him. Can Mia break through the barricade around Adrien’s heart or will the demons of the past prove to be too strong?
Chrishawn Evette is a die-hard romantic who loves to write + read swoon-worthy books filled with angst, drama, love, and everything in-between. Her world is filled with moody alpha heroes, broody bad boys, strong + sassy heroines, naughtiness, sassiness, and a whole lot of steaminess.
When she isn't deep in her writing cave furiously creating fast-paced scenes that make you feel all the feels, she is plotting ways to make her next hot-as-hell book boyfriend + kick ass woman come to life.
The journey is concluded in this second book. The journey becomes emotionally twisted for the two love birds. Adrian is a total jerk and poor Mia fell in love with him. She deserves better will she find it in him. I couldn't put this book down.
Absolutely beautiful ending to Perfectly Unhinged. She continued to developed the character extremely well and proved that even bad boys need a good girl. I cant wait to see this author has in store for us next!
As in any duet I have read the second book and I am happy. Mia and Adrian went through a rough time in this one but they got their happily ever after! A very nice read as a follow up to book 1.
I started reading this book immediately after completing the first one I LOVED THE STORY. Love is messy. Folks have baggage and this is a perfect depiction of that.
I read both books hoping it got better It didnt. Never seen the word intern used incorrectly so many time throughout the series. Whoever the editor was, was paid to do nothing
