Its short but packs a punch! I plan on reading the rest of the series after getting hooked on this prequel.

System nanites were the peoples defence against illness but have suddenly mutated in everyone who has had the latest system update. Arvids and his fiance Liana are on the research station which is connected to a colony ship both within an asteroid above Earth. Liana is tasked with finding the error in the nanites code that is causing the mutation that is threatening man while Arvids works at embryos cryopreservation in preparation for the colony ship's trip into the universe in search of another home for humankind. It is a race to correct the glitch before the colony ship has to leave to prevent the last of the uninfected people from being contaminated.

What happens when technology is doing what its meant to? Over population when nanotechnology is introduced into humans that cure diseases and injuries that would otherwise prove fatal? Then what happens when this all goes wrong? Glitches in the nanotechnology that have people dying, cancer. Is there any going back? Is there even a fix?
Exciting read to say the least 😊.

An excellent first book in this new series from Holly Ice! An exciting adventure I strongly recommend as it's well written, has great characters & a well thought out plot! Well worth a read!
