When American covert operative Chase Fulton returns home from his most recent mission in the Black Sea with a defecting Russian SVR officer in tow, everything in his world changes.
As the tactical team morphs to meet the ever-changing demands of the geopolitical landscape and faces the challenges of expansion and the complexity of its most recent tasking, teammates are threatened, alliances are challenged, and devastating loss threatens to weaken the team’s resolve.
Kidnappings, unexpected discoveries, old friends, and new enemies combine to make this, the ninth installment in America’s new favorite espionage thriller series, the most action-packed and dramatic episode to date. With action ripped straight from today’s headlines, Chase and his team must confront a potentially deadly enemy on the shores of the homeland before the application of new technology threatens the safety and security of the free world.
Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.
With a headful of larger-than-life characters and their thrilling exploits, Cap pours his love of adventure and passion for the ocean onto the pages of his action adventure series, The Chase Fulton Novels and his new series Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins.
Inspired by the likes of John D. Macdonald’s Travis McGee, Randy Wayne White’s Doc Ford, and Wayne Stinnett’s Jesse McDermitt, Cap creates thrilling tales of action and adventure set throughout the Caribbean and coastal Florida and Georgia by intertwining nautical adventure with international espionage. Cap’s Chase Fulton Novels series promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats, trying to guess what new danger or adventure lies just around the corner.
The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins series is a spin-off starring the most controversial and intriguing character from the Chase Fulton Novels. After defecting to the United States, Anastasia "Anya" Burinkova, a former Russian SVR assassin and intelligence operative puts her lethal skill set into action against the powerful Russian Mafia. In this gritty, organized-crime thriller series, Cap Daniels takes his readers into the dark underworld of the Russian Mafia weaving actual events into fiction to leave the reader's heart pounding and their fingers itching to turn the page.

Cap takes the real and weaves fast action and some subtle comedy into a believable tale. I had difficulty putting this story aside. I am waiting for the next one.
Somehow I neglected to mark this book as read. I re-read it with just as much enjoyment as the first time ( possibly more so, as I have knowledge of the future) It can stand alone, but starting with the first book is more fun. Cap, great book and great series, WRITE FASTER!!!!!

I don’t write many reviews, but I have nothing but good things to say about Cap Daniels’ Chase Fulton series is really great. The characters are real despite the insane situations. I especially love the supporting characters along the way. The Judge - a man who led a long life of being an honorable gentleman you can’t help but admire. Mongo, the gentle giant. My all-time favorite is Earl. How can you not love her?
Mr. Daniels, please don’t stop writing these books. I’m at the halfway point in my 30s & I’m always exploring. I mostly roam around the lower Appalachians in my overland trail rig or on the lakes & rivers in my little 15’ flat bottom skiff. I can’t afford a sea going vessel or small plane, so I love the details you provide in your books to really let me dream of the adventures I’m not able to take yet. Keep them coming!
We should all pray that Cap Daniels maintains excellent heath and creative inspiration such that he is able to produce many more Chase Fulton adventures. I laughed and cried and thrilled to Forgotten Chase as I did to the eight stories preceding it. I cheered Chase and his team as they carried out there mission. But it’s only fiction, you say. Yes, but I cheered, grateful for those unknown to the rest of us, who have really done such things for the good of us all. Cap shares with us a cast of true to life characters who can enrich our own lives if we will let them, with the value of love and friendship and loyalty and family and sacrifice and freedom. Enjoy reading. Many thanks, Cap.
Fantastic next chapter in a totally engaging story
Book 9 was to be released while I was on a cruise out on the Caribbean Sea. COVID-19 took the chance to read this great story while relaxing on a Freedom of the Seas balcony. Instead I read it while "sheltered in place". In any case, it is an exciting continuation of the Chase series. The characters become more real, enriching all of the story happenings. The action sequences are hard to read fast enough as the excitement races and impossible to stop reading as events unfold like lightning. As a Techy guy, the descriptions of gadgets adds dimension to the reality. Looking forward to #10 coming this summer. Not soon enough.
This is a great addition to this interesting and intelligent series. Action, adventure and the on going story of Chase Fulton and team. Picking up where book eight left off, the ever evolving storyline and team dynamic , and the appearance of old friends, and Katerina's Heart, Flipper and Stinky...all make this story a one sitting read for me. I've enjoyed all the books in this series and highly recommend it and this author. This story can be read, understood and enjoyed as a stand alone...but why miss out on the rest of this fine series?
After Chase, Hunter, and Anya are recovered from the Black Sea by an American nuclear sub and returned to terra firma, the somewhat soggy “contractors” find that Clark has been hospitalized and is in grave condition. Following a major surgery to alleviate dangerous bone and tissue infection, Clark & Maebelle borrow the Aegis and discover a Russian Spy ship off the coast of Georgia. The ensuing drama & adventure is a page-turning is pure pleasure to be enjoyed without any plot spoilers.
I love this guy. You lay your money down. Buy his book. Get entertained from the first page to the last, with bigger than life characters that are juggling the same emotions and desires us "normal" mortals have. I was especially impressed with his sensitive and knowledgeable handling of both the death and the beginnings of love in his highly believable characters.
As always Cap penned a story that was fun and entertaining. Most of his writings are down to earth and seem like they could really take place, yet you never lose interest; they are not boreing. I would recommend to anyone who wants to fill some time with an easy and enjoyable story
Another great story by the author and chase and crew glad to see anus back in action and we'll just maybe she will see more action In these troubled times of corona virus and civic 19 a chance to read a good book always gives my heart a chance relief ...ciao from costs Rica and stay safe where ever you are and wash your hands often...
I have read all of the Chase Fulton stories and this one is just like the rest. Believable characters, good plot. Well told story with plenty of excitement. Happy to see Anya turn into a "good guy"!. That played out well. Looking forward to what the phone call was from the President at the end. This whole series has been excellent.
Cap Daniels continues to impress me with new captivating stories and insights into the characters both old and new. This book was interesting and exciting from start to finish and continued the Chase Fulton saga with new twists and situations. I look forward to many more in the series.
It's hard to realize that Chase's adventures are fiction, even though Daniels makes it very clear that he made up the story. He tells it so well, I've become a member of team! I know and love each of the characters( well, most of them) and cheer for their individuality. Miss Penny has become my favorite! She's pretty wise for a West Texas girl!
New people, New enemies, New. Weapons and new hair raising adventures. Chase and Clark together again is great. Love having my favorite WWII airplane P 51D in the story
This is a great series, well developed stories and characters! This story was great lots of edge of your seat action! Great and touching interaction of characters! Keep them coming can't wait for the next adventure!
Another Excellent Chase adventure that was an enjoyable read, always hate finishing a chase book as you hate to leave your friends till the next book comes out !
My, My, My, since the very first book I have been addicted! Cap Daniels can tell a story. Can't believe it been almost two years since your first book, what a great accomplishment. Love the Chase Fulton series. Hope you and family are doing well. (Read #9 in one day, soooo good.)
Cap Daniels continues with the 9th story of this quasi government group. The characters have continued to change, grow and develop skills for the job they do. It is easy to read each story as it develops and the people interact with each other.
The rating of 5 stars is well earned, in this reader's opinion. The words assigned to a 95 year old character tells me a lot about the writer. A thoroughly enjoyable plot that is too well done to be fiction.
